White sand beaches, clear water and such a laid back atmosphere. it's a beautiful day, couples are laying together on their blankets, kids are playing with sand building their own sand castles, collecting seashells, chasing birds, running in and out of the very cold water I think the temperature this day was about 72 degrees the sun was setting for the night , food was amazing the views of the perfect sunset just right for smooching on the beach with your love one!!

I like the atmosphere and the small touristy atmosphere as well. It's not overwhelming and there is so much to see and experience. The beach alone is amazing. The water is the perfect temperature. Depending on which area you choose the settle down in on the beach is where you will find either the nice sand or the Shelly kind of sand. This weekend we had the Shelly kind of sand which is at the southern point. But it is ok. It will work out and you will still have a great time.

If you don't mind the extra cost and are prepared with footwear, it's still a lovely place to visit!

Paying for parking immediately. Set the tone, especially since there's nothing particularly special about this beach. On top of that, I didn't realize until after I paid for parking that it's not dog friendly, which feels ridiculous for such a wide open public space. Sand, I did venture out for a while and the sound was ultra fine which super annoying. The views are okay and it wasn't crowded which is nice but now I know why. Most of the people I saw were much older and were fully dressed walking on the pathway and not really utilizing the beach. There are so many beaches in Florida. I'm not sure why anyone comes here. Nothing stood out or made us want to stay or really justified all the inconveniences. This beach is just meh and if you're close by ok but definitely not worth going out of your way for.

The Gulf was is so beautiful at this time of the day , the breeze felt soft against our skin, and the fine white sand stretched endlessly beneath our feet. My mother is in her 80s now, and as we walked slowly together along the shoreline, I found myself thinking quietly... how many more days... months... or years do I have left with her? Life is so precious. Time moves faster than we all realize. Being able to spend quality time with my mother is a rare and precious gift.. moments like this at the beautiful ocean with the sound of the waves crashing along the shoreline... the warmth of the sunset wrapping us with tactile and visible heat .. At this moment in time I cherish every single moment I have with her. Nothing is forever

Clear water and what I loved is there was no seaweed to walk thru when entering the water. The sand is a bit shelly so keep that in mind when putting up your umbrella. There are public restrooms and a shack that offers drinks and food. There is chair and umbrella rentals available. I believe I recall it being $40 for 2 chairs and an umbrella with $10 for each extra chair. Not too shabby! Parking is in a sort of street / lot parking. There are also several side roads that offer street parking and you pay via the app or website.

As we waited another couple came and was seated by a different hostess then a group of 5 who were behind us coming in was being seated yet by someone ahead of us even though I mentioned we were there first. We got ignored again and walked out! We did have a great meal and great drinks at the restaurant next door. Hurricane Seafood Restaurant and the service was just as good.
