    Not the greatest meat
    Ron L.

Located inside a golf course, the entrance to the place is a little confusing. This place could have modernized their entrance with a Brazilian theme setting. Instead, you go across an empty 30-foot by 30-foot empty room with a big hole in the middle that looks like a mineshaft... but it's stairs. Inside is has an average setting ) nothing special) with ample seating. The meats picanha, etc.. we're ok, nothing spectacular. Some meat cuts were very small on the skewers. Wish there was more of a variety. The salad bar was ok but could do with more variety. The highlight of the whole meal was the pineapple cooked hot with cinnamon. That was excellent. They serve can sodas. They need to invest in fountain drinks and allow for free refills at the prices they're charging. Service was super great and on par. If you are in the area and are looking for a place to try Brazilian.. then it's just ok. However there are better places

I found new gem place must try there foods!!! I love the tender of picanha !!! All you can eat (ayce) just $60.00 per includes drink soda or wine, dessert cale&coffee~ Buffet has awesome selection of salad and soups. Cheese bread is heaven. All the meat is no salty or dull I highly recommend med-rare style. The service were awesome the server were very polite and kind. The interior is very cozy and little bit of antique style ~ I highly recommend for friends gathering or family gatherings~ Reservations is required~ The restroom is very clean although its bit outdated~ We got a certificate for $10.00 expire 12/31 still plenty of time to go back~ Alots of parking space. Located at Rowland Height Royal vista clubhouse~

PRO-TIP: Put in a reservation and you can get 20% off ! I'm not sure how long this limited run is, but definitely worth it, since it comes with a special welcome message! Hands down my favorite Brazilian BBQ places. Delicious meats and sides, impeccable, warm, welcoming customer service, as well as a fancy atmosphere and view to boot! Located at a golf course, getting dinner here during a sunset (though it might be glaring at some angles) creates a wonderful view. If you want to treat someone to a fancy dinner, this is the place to go! I LOVED that they had a little welcome message for me upon arriving. Great touch of personalization that the restaurant went out of the way for. They bring out the Brazilian cheese bread/puffs that have a delicious mocha texture and you can always request for more I believe. Before the meat starts being served at your table, you can help yourself to their salad bar and their hot food bar. Very fancy and nicely decorated salad bar I may add. Some unique things that I enjoyed was the heart of palm, the addition of crispy bacon that you can add to your salads, couscous/chicken/shrimp/potato salads, as well as leafy green salads, smoked salmon and capers, the toasted cheese which was quite yummy, a DIY crostini, pickled mushrooms, and of course chimichurri for your meats! As for the hot deli, I really enjoyed their rich beef stroganoff and potoato au gratin. Black bean stew wasn't bad and their fried bananas are delicious with a cinnamon taste. Have some with their vanilla ice cream for a bananas foster experience for dessert! For meats, the servers made sure we were NEVER lacking. Constantly being checked up on and ensuring that everyone in our party had access to and was able to try almost every meat that they had to offer. Some highlights were definitely their picanha (cornerstone of any Brazilian BBQ), especially the one with garlic, their Brazilian smoke sausage (nice smoky, slightly spicy flavor to it), lamb chops (preferred this a bit over the leg of lamb), beef and pork ribs, as well as their beef flank steak and their beef top sirloin. You do have the option of asking for cuts that are more rare, medium rare, medium well and well done, as well as asking for the more charred bits if you're into that. I think some things I'd note was that even though we asked for medium rare/well, some of the pieces were super rare when served to us, like bright red, so we didn't bother eating it and some of the chicken dishes were a bit drier than preferred, but as expected with the meat I suppose. The lamb was a bit gamey. I love lamb so I was okay with it, but if you're on the fence about the meat, I wouldn't recommend it. I do like the pacing of the food and never felt too pressured to eat quickly. Servers were helpful with tips of when to grab meat and when to just wait to be served! We had Scarlet and Carlos help us and we felt very fancy and welcomed by their excellent customer service and attention to detail. From start to end, they did a magnificent job of ensuring that we had the utmost best dinner. There was another female worker, unfortunately didn't catch her name, who suggested that we try the Brazilian soda, which is WAY better than Sprite/7-Up by the way and on our list of favs now. I believe the owner even stopped by our table to have a small chat, so know that they do care about customer input. Delicious food, gorgeous view of the sunset, and warm, welcoming service, what more can you ask for? Will definitely stop by again!

My first Brazilian steakhouse experience (and hopefully not my last)! My parents found out about this gem through Yelp and decided to take me as a farewell dinner. The restaurant is located at the Royal Vista Golf Course and it's a wonderful addition to the venue. Having the meat brought over to me piece by piece, I assumed I wouldn't get full. I was very wrong. Aside from their wonderful array of cold sides (veggies to balance out the meat), they had wonderful carbs from classic Brazilian cheese bread to rice & mashed potatoes. My favorite was the picanha cooked medium rare and I got plenty of seconds throughout the night. My mom opted for the salad only option and the owners still made sure she was taken care of (grilled veggies, fruit, cheese bread, and more!) Rachel & Roy have an amazing business ahead of them and fill a niche that's not super available in the area. Definitely looking forward to coming back and knowing what to ask for this time around.

Prepare yourself for a carnivore's carnival like no other at Vista Brazilian Steakhouse in Walnut. This restaurant offers more than just delicious food; it's a fun opportunity to engage with friendly staff members who bring you so many delicious meat options, making your experience even more enjoyable. I made a reservation per the request of my steak-loving brother. As soon as my family of four stepped inside, we were seated by their welcoming and friendly staff members. Upon sitting, we were presented with a one-page menu showing all the meat and side dish options. The side dishes are served buffet-style where you can fill your plate with dishes like a fresh salad, potatoes, veggies, dips, bread, etc. It'll be the perfect pairing to the meat selection. It was my first time having a Brazilian steakhouse experience, where servers come to your table with a variety of meats, allowing you to try a little bit of everything! From the mouthwatering selections of tender lamb chops to the popular grilled pineapple at my table, my whole family had a wonderful time. What made this experience exceptional was the funny and friendly staff. They always came by with a bright smile and offered to cut us a fresh slice of meat. They will circulate the restaurant ready to slice and serve your chosen cuts right to your plate. If you have a special request or if you are looking for a particular meat selection, just let them know and they'll bring it out for you. If you're looking for a lively atmosphere, great quality of food, and friendly staff, Vista Brazilian Steakhouse is a ideal spot for a fun dinner! The cost was $60 a person and I think it was 100% well worth it. I hope to come back soon with more family and friends! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Good food and good services. I ate dinners a few times here with good friends. Wine and steak pairing was excellent. You can eat variety of steak cuts to all your heart desires or your stomach desires at your own pace. It was very relaxing atmosphere. The condiments and buffet style side dishes were another gustatory delights. I like the ambience of the restaurant and enjoyed view of green fairway of golf course. If you like open air, the restaurant has open patio tables with gas heaters to warm you up from chilly evening air. I was informed they are currently doing soft opening and trying to make improvements as they are preparing for the grand opening. I met the owner, Roy . He is personally looking over the food and staff services. Overall, it was a very good gustatory experience.

Wow this place is a hidden gem! It's inside the golf course so be wary the parking lot is not where Apple Maps places it. Go to the stoplight and walk into the courtyard building and follow the signs. The service is great and the food is comparable to a more well known Brazilian bbq. It's a little less expensive but it's such a nice date location. They even ask us at the beginning of the meal how we like our meat cooked! Definitely want to make sure you try the mushroom stroganoff and grilled pineapple! The restaurant was pretty empty when we went on a Sunday evening but that was when the restaurant was still pretty new.

Highly recommend the new Vista Brazilian Steakhouse inside the Royal Vista Golf Clubhouse! Delicious AYCE cuts of meat including chicken, pork, lamb, and beef. (The ribeye and pichaña were our favorite) Dinner includes the salad bar and hot foods like rice, beans, plantains, creamed corn, and stroganoff. Nice setting and great service. Oh and definitely try the pao de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread balls that are gluten free)! And save room for the grilled pineapple at the end! Really nice addition to the neighborhood! Not huge inside so definitely recommend making reservations since they're only open for dinner.

Cute little touch with my name. My hot foods buffet selections

I had a wonderful dinner with my bestie after work. Lots of parking space and we just follow the sign. Then we walk to this wonderful small restaurant. Greeted with a big smile from a lovely lady. Then she show us our table. Even had my name on the table. Very cool small touch there. Such a special touch. Then Jose greet us and ask for drinks. Then he send us to the buffet area. Omygosh it was so beautiful and so delicious. Everything was set nicely and very clean. I love all the salad bar selections. They even had my fav the heart of palms. I wish they have spicy chimichurri. Shrimp salad and the mango salsa is refreshing. The hot foods buffet was so yummy. The Beef Stroganoff was amazing! Also the fried banana. The meats are cooked perfectly. Not a big fan of the bacon chicken breast. Very dry. Picanha with Garlic is my favorite. Also the crispy pork belly. I barely ate half of the selections I'm already in food coma! Everything delicious. Amazing and very attentive staff. Serena the gal very kind to us. She offer desert. But I'm already so stuffed. It was a great dinner. The cheese bread so good but need more color. Kinda pale. The grilled pineapple is great but wish it's more brown sugar and cinnamon. Also more grilled. So the full flavor could be more presented. Overall was a wonderful and nice dinner. The staff is so good to us. Thank you again for everything. Can't wait to go back.

    Great dinner with friends

Last night we were blessed to be given a soft opening preview of this fantastic restaurant. I honestly had no idea what to expect as one of my friends had gotten us the invitation., but I was more than pleasantly surprised. First off... You start with a salad bar and an appetizer bar. I was honestly LOOKING for something that I didn't like, but, EVERYTHING was delicious. Also... Everything was the freshest I had ever seen in any restaurant I've ever been to. For instance, the "bacon bits" at the salad bar didn't come out of a jar or a can. They were actual strips of bacon. Delicious, perfectly cooked, crispy bacon. The cheeses... Fresh salmon... Olives... Chicken salad, potato salad, shrimp, salad... All some of the best I have ever eaten. And... That was just the beginning. Once we were seated, and given our choice of red wine or white wine, they began to bring out several different types of perfectly cooked meats. The pork ribs alone were spectacularly cooked. Simply fall-off-the-bone delicious. Flank steak, strip steak, sirloin, bacon wrapped chicken... it JUST...KEPT...COMING...! Initially, the waiter would come out and ask us if we wanted to try the meat that he brought. I jokingly asked "Does anyone ever say no?". We all laughed, but then, after 45 minutes of the excellent staff bringing meaty treasure after meaty treasure I finally understood. As much as it pains me to say it, I was so full that I had to actually say no. But, they've made it so that you don't even have to embarrass yourself by saying no to something so delicious. There are a little red and green coasters that each person has. The red side means you don't want any more meat, the green side means you want more. It's genius. We also dined with a child around the age of 10. Of course, he was picky about what he eats, and the staff made sure he was delighted with his food. They made special treats just for him: fries, chicken nuggets, virtually any treat he could ask for. The service was absolutely first class. Years ago, when visiting São Paulo, Brazil, I ate at a traditional Churrascaria (which is essentially the same experience). When the owner came out to greet us and asked us how we were doing, I mentioned to him that the experience I had in São Paulo was accompanied by an incredible cocktail, called the Caipirinha. Once he heard that I was a fan of cocktails, he sent his bartender to the task of making custom cocktails, just for me and the table. I have spent a lot of time and money over the last decade, drinking some incredible cocktails from all over but, this was absolutely delicious. And just as we were filled to overflowing with these delicious foods, they brought out dessert. Cheesecake, chocolate cake, and ice cream that must've been made fresh. The perfect end to a perfect meal. This team goes over and above to simply delight their customers in a way that I haven't seen in a very long time. Coming to this older golf club, you might think the quality of the restaurant is of a lower class but, you would be wrong. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this place gets a Michelin star one day. It is simply incredible. I will say that, at this time, the ambience isn't perfect. This is a soft opening, so they are still in the middle of perfecting the restaurant. So... Given all of the other incredible aspects of this restaurant, I know the ambience will be perfect when they do finally open in September. But don't get me wrong, the music, the lighting, the table, the plating, the dishware, the glassware. All first class. Oh! And I didn't even mention the incredible view. Looking out over the golf course towards the San Gabriel Valley mountains at sunset. Breathtaking. I simply cannot say enough about the experience we had at this restaurant. I can honestly give this restaurant five stars without thinking twice. If I could give them six, I would. So... If you were considering going to this restaurant, and decide not to go, that would be a foolish decision.

Celebrated a birthday and they gave a slice of cheesecake, a scoop of ice cream, and printed a group photo for us!

The service was phenomenal! Staff was so nice and loved to interact with us. Food was exceptional, my mouth was watering seeing all the different options. The beef rib, prime rib, and picanha were my favorite. The pineapple was perfectly refreshing and addicting! I highly recommend this restaurant and would come again!

Brand new Brazilian bbq in Walnut ! Restaurant is located within the clubhouse of the golf place. Meats are good quality and tasty. Not salty or over salty like some other Brazilian places in SGV Staff is very helpful to get you meats from the back or ask the chef to prepare those meats if you want more or missed out on any choices

Service and quality of meats was superb. I would definitely try their Brazilian soda as well. Wines nicely paired with the meats. The side dishes were surprisingly very premium as well, leaning more on the salty side than savory, but again paired well with the savory meats. Desserts were very good as well. The cheese balls did not disappoint! Highly recommend trying this new restaurant out. The views are fantastic from any seat in the room. Take advantage of their 20% off this august and complementary drinks when you make a reservation!

We were told the chair was interfering with the wait staff, even though it wasn't blocking any walkways. It seemed like every interaction came with unnecessary attitude. Once we were all seated, our waitress seemed to have a chip on her shoulder from the start. She never brought out our ranch-style bread, rarely refilled our drinks, and repeatedly reached across the table, passing plates directly in front of people's faces instead of simply walking around to serve them properly. When our dinners arrived, our empty salad and appetizer plates were still sitting on the table. We had to ask her to clear them just so we had room for our meals. If we needed anything, we had to catch her as she hurried past our table because she never stopped to check on us. She would keep walking while we tried to ask for what we needed, so we had to quickly rattle everything off before she disappeared. To top it off, she was openly talking about our table to the guests seated behind us. It was completely unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable. The level of service was disappointing from beginning to end. When my bill came, the total didn't add up correctly. I politely pointed out the discrepancy, but instead of checking it, she came back with the menu to prove I was wrong. Ironically, the menu proved she was the one who made the mistake. She even tried telling me I was comparing the menu price to a receipt total that included tax. I had to explain that the tax was calculated separately at the bottom of the receipt. Rather than apologize, she walked away and sent the manager over. Thankfully, the manager immediately recognized the error and corrected my bill. By that point, my family had enough and just wanted to pay and leave. To make matters worse, they were told they couldn't pay until everyone at the table had received their bill. The food didn't make up for the service, either. It was hot and humid inside the restaurant, the burger was as tough as a hockey puck, they were out of beef ribs so we settled for pork ribs that were mostly fat, and the steak lacked any flavor. To top it off, the restrooms had a strong urine smell, which only added to the overall poor experience. The only highlights of the evening were the company we were with and the Costco birthday cake we brought ourselves. I had read the recent reviews before coming and hoped people were exaggerating. They weren't!!! I wanted to give this place another chance because of the great memories we had at the one in Colton, but sadly, those memories are all that's left. If you're thinking about making the drive because of nostalgia like we did, I'd recommend reading the recent reviews first. I wish we had listened. We won't be returning. Thanks for a horrible birthday experience, Sundance & staff!

After months of planning, I was naturally nervous, but Bill made the whole process so much easier. He was incredibly accommodating, patient with all of my questions, and always willing to work with me to make sure every detail came together. Most importantly, he was true to his word. Everything we discussed beforehand was delivered exactly as promised, which gave me so much peace of mind. The staff was just as amazing. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that everyone was having a great time. They kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes so I could relax and enjoy such a special evening with my family and friends. The venue itself was beautiful, clean, and created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the space, the service, and how well everything was organized. Seeing the look on my husband's face when he walked into his surprise party is a memory I'll treasure forever, and this venue played a huge part in making that moment possible. Thank you, Bill, and your incredible team, for helping create a night our family will never forget. I would recommend this venue without hesitation and would gladly host another event here in the future.

The service was extremely slow to start--we waited a while just for water and to get drink orders taken. We ordered the Ahi tuna appetizer, which was good, but the course pacing completely fell apart after that. Our salads took 25 minutes to arrive. Before I could even get the fresh ground pepper I requested, our main courses were rushed to the table while we hadn't even started our salads. The food quality was unacceptable for an upscale restaurant: Both my wife and I ordered our steaks medium-rare. Mine arrived completely leathery, dry as a bone, and thoroughly overcooked. I didn't eat a single bite of it. My wife's steak arrived medium-well, and her side of rice was completely dry. The bottle of red wine we ordered from their very small wine list was served warm. When we declined having the steak re-fired or free dessert, we finished our wine and asked for the check. The $62 inedible steak was still on the bill, so I asked to speak with the owner. When I calmly explained the issues, the owner became angry that I didn't want the steak redone and walked away mid-conversation. He eventually came back, removed the $62 steak, and told us he didn't want us back in his restaurant. To top it off, for an establishment charging fine-dining prices where guests dress up, the owner was wearing shorts and sneakers. One chance is all a restaurant gets to make a good impression. Lincoln House missed the mark completely. We will not be returning.

Meats came fairly quickly despite it being lunchtime with one server carving the meat. He was very generous to make sure that he got ample meat and if we had any additional request. We were seated by the hostess and greeted by our waitress, Cora, immediately. Ice water came out to the table right away, and after a few minutes of reviewing the cocktail menu, our drink and food order was taken. DRINKS and FOOD: I started with a standard Old Fashioned ($17) which was tasty, but missing the Luxardo cherry. My wife had a Spicy Cucumber Margarita ($18) which tasted like a plain margarita. Couldn't really get the cucumber or jalapeño flavors. For our meals, we both ordered the Iceberg Salad (okay, nothing out of the ordinary), the Red Wagyu Burger (one with French fries the other with onion rings), and two scoops of Chocolate Ice Cream with fresh berries for dessert. The wagyu burgers are amazing, as were the fries and onion rings. Overall, the atmosphere and food were good, and the service was much better this time. The cocktails were okay, but I noticed that it was a different bartender than my first visit. I'm sure we'll be back.

During our visit, we went with the Chef's Recommendation menu and also added mentaiko buttered scallops. I love the interior of this place. The service was also impeccable. Braised Beef Tongue - Practically melts in your mouth Wagyu Carppacio - This dish had so many textures to it. You have the raw beef carpaccio, the salad with sauce on top adds flavor to it, and finally it has the Lays chips on top to give it some crunchy texture. Japanese Wagyu Sukiyaki - My favorite thing from this evening. They do such a great show of preparing this for you and you get a dipping plate with a raw egg to get all the flavors in this. The sukiyaki sauce in the bowl was super flavorful and strong. Wagyu Short Rib - This definitely tastes better using the spices they give for your meal. It's more on the lean side so it was very easy to eat iWagyu Prime Short Rib - This has a little bit more fat and on the chewier side when ate plain. But with the dipping spices, it definitely brings out the saltiness the meat needs Wagyu Bibimbap - The staff will mix this in front of you and make sure all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed so you can get a little bit of seaweed, wagyu, sauce, and rice in every bite. Of course by the time we got to this, we were way too full so I only got a few bites in before I had to call it and to-go the rest. Mentaiko Buttered Scallops - This was amazingly creamy. However I did make a mistake by adding this to the chef's recommendation. The Chef's Recommendation is curated where everything compliments each other. The mentaiko buttered scallops had their usual strong salty taste and super creamy due to the butter, but it was too strong when added to the Chef's Recommendation that I could barely eat it during the meal. Our next return, I will go with just the chef's recommendation to avoid messing up the balance. But the chef's recommendation was curated very well if you're not sure what to get! The bibimbap and sukiyaki were the chef's kiss

For $17.50, the special comes with a French-style roast beef panini, shrimp and fish ball rice vermicelli in creamy chicken soup, plus hot coffee or tea. Honestly, it's a pretty good amount of food for breakfast. The roast beef panini was really good. The bread was nicely toasted, and the roast beef was tender and flavorful. Simple, but everything worked well together. The rice vermicelli was also better than I expected. I wasn't sure how I would feel about noodles in a creamy chicken soup for breakfast, but it actually worked! The soup was creamy and comforting without being too heavy, and there was a good amount of shrimp and fish ball to go with the noodles. I also have to mention the service. Everyone was friendly and attentive, and we were taken care of throughout the meal. Nothing felt rushed, which is always nice when you're trying to enjoy a relaxing weekend breakfast. Overall, good food, great service, and a nice weekend breakfast for $17.50. I like that Garden Bistro changes things up with these specials instead of offering the same thing every weekend. Their menu is expansive. Portions are always hearty. I ordered 3 dishes knowing full well we wouldn't finish it. - lunch special bbq pork with two eggs over rice. I was actually impressed with the roast pork! It was flavorful and had a good chew. Not melt in your mouth soft but better than a lot of other places. Very good for under $17. - Singapore vermicelli noodles - had a nice curry kick. The noodle was very dry but that's how I like it. I love the shrimps, it was plump and juicy. The roast pork was flavorful. - margarita pizza - been meaning to try their western menu and thought pizza was a good start. The pizza was actually not too bad! It came out piping hot and fresh but the tomato sauce was cold. Weird. They probably spooned on the sauce and cheese after letting the dough cook first. The dough was really really good! I also got a red bean ice - not enough ice and not sweet enough. And I never complain about sweetness and most drinks are too sweet for me. My opinion still stands that Garden Bistro is a solid choice. Not mind blowing but good.
