What an amazing neighborhood Brazilian steakhouse to our surprise! We came in for brunch and decided on brunch menu food. They had Brazilian AYCE menu and regular menu. For food I had the salad bar and hubby had picanha steak. The salad bar was very good with lots of varieties. The hot food station was pretty basic but the food was still yummy. Brazilian cheese bread was one of our favorites. Hubby's steak was a bit overcooked so the server sliced a few pieces of rare picanha for him to make it up. We liked the thoughtful gesture very much. The rare steak was exactly how hubby liked it and very delicious! We also had a bottle of sparking wine to go with our brunch food. We were impressed by this local steakhouse. Don't be fooled by the renovation in the lobby going in - once you walk through the doors you'll find cozy digs overlooking the royal vista golf course. We went in on a Wednesday and it wasn't packed at all -- service was amazing and friendly. We felt like we were eating comfortably in our own house. The staff was friendly and so open to helping us navigate through the amazing sides at the salad bar. Dinner is roughly $60 per person. The rib eye was amazing, meat cooked to our perfection. Once you walk in and the large doors you can see the nicely placed salad bar that is filled with a variety of vegetable options and different sides that compliment your meal. I have to say this salad bar is impressive and I would probably just want to have only the salad bar next time around. Meat-wise it's a traditional Brazilian BBQ place where the staff comes around and asks if you would like that particular meat. They have a wide range of meat from pork, beef, lamb, sausages, and pineapple. Pineapple was delicious but I have to say every meat item that came out tasted almost the same. It was just garlic so I felt like it was too similar to each other. I could be eating a beef item but it tasted similar to another beef item but it was a different cut. Located inside a golf course, the entrance to the place is a little confusing. This place could have modernized their entrance with a Brazilian theme setting. Instead, you go across an empty 30-foot by 30-foot empty room with a big hole in the middle that looks like a mineshaft... but it's stairs. Inside is has an average setting ) nothing special) with ample seating. The meats picanha, etc.. we're ok, nothing spectacular. Some meat cuts were very small on the skewers. Wish there was more of a variety. The salad bar was ok but could do with more variety. The highlight of the whole meal was the pineapple cooked hot with cinnamon. That was excellent. Hands down my favorite Brazilian BBQ places. Delicious meats and sides, impeccable, warm, welcoming customer service, as well as a fancy atmosphere and view to boot! Located at a golf course, getting dinner here during a sunset (though it might be glaring at some angles) creates a wonderful view. If you want to treat someone to a fancy dinner, this is the place to go! I LOVED that they had a little welcome message for me upon arriving. Great touch of personalization that the restaurant went out of the way for. They bring out the Brazilian cheese bread/puffs that have a delicious mocha texture and you can always request for more I believe. Before the meat starts being served at your table, you can help yourself to their salad bar and their hot food bar. Very fancy and nicely decorated salad bar I may add. Some unique things that I enjoyed was the heart of palm, the addition of crispy bacon that you can add to your salads, couscous/chicken/shrimp/potato salads, as well as leafy green salads, smoked salmon and capers, the toasted cheese which was quite yummy, a DIY crostini, pickled mushrooms, and of course chimichurri for your meats! As for the hot deli, I really enjoyed their rich beef stroganoff and potoato au gratin. Black bean stew wasn't bad and their fried bananas are delicious with a cinnamon taste. Have some with their vanilla ice cream for a bananas foster experience for dessert! For meats, the servers made sure we were NEVER lacking. Constantly being checked up on and ensuring that everyone in our party had access to and was able to try almost every meat that they had to offer. Some highlights were definitely their picanha (cornerstone of any Brazilian BBQ), especially the one with garlic, their Brazilian smoke sausage (nice smoky, slightly spicy flavor to it), lamb chops (preferred this a bit over the leg of lamb), beef and pork ribs, as well as their beef flank steak and their beef top sirloin. You do have the option of asking for cuts that are more rare, medium rare, medium well and well done, as well as asking for the more charred bits if you're into that. I think some things I'd note was that even though we asked for medium rare/well, some of the pieces were super rare when served to us, like bright red, so we didn't bother eating it and some of the chicken dishes were a bit drier than preferred, but as expected with the meat I suppose. The lamb was a bit gamey. I love lamb so I was okay with it, but if you're on the fence about the meat, I wouldn't recommend it. I do like the pacing of the food and never felt too pressured to eat quickly. Servers were helpful with tips of when to grab meat and when to just wait to be served! We had Scarlet and Carlos help us and we felt very fancy and welcomed by their excellent customer service and attention to detail. From start to end, they did a magnificent job of ensuring that we had the utmost best dinner. There was another female worker, unfortunately didn't catch her name, who suggested that we try the Brazilian soda, which is WAY better than Sprite/7-Up by the way and on our list of favs now. My first Brazilian steakhouse experience (and hopefully not my last)! My parents found out about this gem through Yelp and decided to take me as a farewell dinner. The restaurant is located at the Royal Vista Golf Course and it's a wonderful addition to the venue. Having the meat brought over to me piece by piece, I assumed I wouldn't get full. I was very wrong. Aside from their wonderful array of cold sides (veggies to balance out the meat), they had wonderful carbs from classic Brazilian cheese bread to rice & mashed potatoes. My favorite was the picanha cooked medium rare and I got plenty of seconds throughout the night. My mom opted for the salad only option and the owners still made sure she was taken care of (grilled veggies, fruit, cheese bread, and more!) Rachel & Roy have an amazing business ahead of them and fill a niche that's not super available in the area. Good food and good services. I ate dinners a few times here with good friends. Wine and steak pairing was excellent. You can eat variety of steak cuts to all your heart desires or your stomach desires at your own pace. It was very relaxing atmosphere. The condiments and buffet style side dishes were another gustatory delights. I like the ambience of the restaurant and enjoyed view of green fairway of golf course. If you like open air, the restaurant has open patio tables with gas heaters to warm you up from chilly evening air. Wow this place is a hidden gem! It's inside the golf course so be wary the parking lot is not where Apple Maps places it. Go to the stoplight and walk into the courtyard building and follow the signs. The service is great and the food is comparable to a more well known Brazilian bbq. It's a little less expensive but it's such a nice date location. They even ask us at the beginning of the meal how we like our meat cooked! Definitely want to make sure you try the mushroom stroganoff and grilled pineapple! Excellent service. Reservations are a must. The meat selection was great and the quality and taste were very good. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of meat they provided. The hot bar and salad bar looked ok. We took a peek but didn't end up getting anything from either the salad bar or the hot food station and ended up eating only meat. The owner was very nice and made sure to check on each table. He asked how we preferred our meat cooked (doneness) and made sure the servers knew our preference. The crispy pork belly, lamb chops, and pichana were our favorites. We asked for charred pineapple at the end of our meal, covered in sugar and caramelized to perfection. The location of the restaurant was interesting, the golf course was a bit run down inside the club house, and the wooden floor was squishy as you walked on it. Hidden gem in my backyard! It's not as fancy as Fogo De Chao (no carpet/tablecloth), but you don't need to dress up either! Their salad/side bar is AMAZING - They have smoked salmon, and my favorite was the Zucchini (although I wish they heated it up). Love Love Love the cheese balls!! I think we ate 10+ per person. It's the best cheese balls I've ever had, they've definitely perfected their recipe. All their meats and protein are wonderfully delicious! Full of flavor and I never get bored!! My favorite was the Beef Rib which caught me off guard. I like how they have Pineapple too. The only con's I have for this place is that they don't have the usual red & green cards for the table so as I'm eating dessert, they're still coming and asking me if I want meat haha! And they need a bar upstairs!! The drinks came from the bar downstairs which was kind of slow. Last night we were blessed to be given a soft opening preview of this fantastic restaurant. I honestly had no idea what to expect as one of my friends had gotten us the invitation., but I was more than pleasantly surprised. First off... You start with a salad bar and an appetizer bar. I was honestly LOOKING for something that I didn't like, but, EVERYTHING was delicious. Also... Everything was the freshest I had ever seen in any restaurant I've ever been to. For instance, the "bacon bits" at the salad bar didn't come out of a jar or a can. They were actual strips of bacon. Delicious, perfectly cooked, crispy bacon. The cheeses... Fresh salmon... Olives... Chicken salad, potato salad, shrimp, salad... All some of the best I have ever eaten. And... That was just the beginning. Once we were seated, and given our choice of red wine or white wine, they began to bring out several different types of perfectly cooked meats. The pork ribs alone were spectacularly cooked. Simply fall-off-the-bone delicious. Flank steak, strip steak, sirloin, bacon wrapped chicken... it JUST...KEPT...COMING...! Initially, the waiter would come out and ask us if we wanted to try the meat that he brought. I jokingly asked "Does anyone ever say no?". We all laughed, but then, after 45 minutes of the excellent staff bringing meaty treasure after meaty treasure I finally understood. As much as it pains me to say it, I was so full that I had to actually say no. But, they've made it so that you don't even have to embarrass yourself by saying no to something so delicious. There are a little red and green coasters that each person has. The red side means you don't want any more meat, the green side means you want more. It's genius. We also dined with a child around the age of 10. Of course, he was picky about what he eats, and the staff made sure he was delighted with his food. They made special treats just for him: fries, chicken nuggets, virtually any treat he could ask for. The service was absolutely first class. Years ago, when visiting São Paulo, Brazil, I ate at a traditional Churrascaria (which is essentially the same experience). When the owner came out to greet us and asked us how we were doing, I mentioned to him that the experience I had in São Paulo was accompanied by an incredible cocktail, called the Caipirinha. Once he heard that I was a fan of cocktails, he sent his bartender to the task of making custom cocktails, just for me and the table. I have spent a lot of time and money over the last decade, drinking some incredible cocktails from all over but, this was absolutely delicious. And just as we were filled to overflowing with these delicious foods, they brought out dessert. Cheesecake, chocolate cake, and ice cream that must've been made fresh. The perfect end to a perfect meal. This team goes over and above to simply delight their customers in a way that I haven't seen in a very long time. Coming to this older golf club, you might think the quality of the restaurant is of a lower class but, you would be wrong. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this place gets a Michelin star one day. It is simply incredible. I will say that, at this time, the ambience isn't perfect. This is a soft opening, so they are still in the middle of perfecting the restaurant. So... Given all of the other incredible aspects of this restaurant, I know the ambience will be perfect when they do finally open in September. But don't get me wrong, the music, the lighting, the table, the plating, the dishware, the glassware. All first class. Oh! And I didn't even mention the incredible view. Looking out over the golf course towards the San Gabriel Valley mountains at sunset. Breathtaking. I simply cannot say enough about the experience we had at this restaurant. I can honestly give this restaurant five stars without thinking twice. If I could give them six, I would. So... If you were considering going to this restaurant, and decide not to go, that would be a foolish decision. read more

We came here as a family for my dad's birthday and had a great time. Jose and Carl were our servers, along with Luis who brought out the different meat selection, and they were very friendly to us the entire night, offering great service. It was a cute place and they even had "welcome" signs with my name - guessing something that they do for all reservations. The meat selection was just ok. We didn't get visited too often which was t great, but we eventually got to try it all. Certain servers were actually really great. The meat was a bit dry at times, and the buffet is small but had a lot of good stuff. Honestly, I'm not sure I'd come back. I was disappointed by my experience after reading all the great reviews that I had to really sit on writing this to think about it and ask myself did I go to the same place the other Yelpers with the 5 stars went to? I'm always on the search for good Brazilian BBQ and have read about this place for a while. Surprisingly the food was not bad especially for the price point. They're running a September promo where it's $47 (before tax/tip) so it was a relatively good deal. It's no Fogo de Chao but it has a lot of potential with some improvements. Food: I was surprised to see the size of the meats as they were served as small bite sized pieces. Luckily they were all edible and none were any bad pieces you couldn't eat or chew. The meats were tender and most were a good medium rare. The salad bar was really disappointing and was def not like the pictures. A super small maybe 5 x 5 two sided bar with a small selection of cold veggies, salads, and cold cut meats/cheeses. Only thing I appreciated and would give 10+ stars for is the bowl of endless fresh chimichurri so you didn't have to flag anyone down for that. The most disappointing was the fried banana as it was no where near authentic. It was way undercooked and coated in cinnamon sugar so it reminded me of a churro instead. I love churros and was open to loving it but it was cold despite being in the warmer. The only thing that was worth 10000 stars was the grilled pineapple which I luckily got to get a few pieces of. It was the most of any item I got all night and I highly recommend it if you see the servers come around with it. It was really sweet and warm and actually tasted like a churro with pineapple. Service: here's why I felt mixed on the reviews. Though I appreciated that the meats were served as smaller pieces so you rarely had to use your knife or waste food, some of the servers seemed stingy with how much they were willing to give you when it came to the more popular meats such as the beef ribs or the lamb. For example, I only got one piece of lamb all night and it was when I got the bill. It wasn't easy to get either as I had to flag the server down for the last piece to even try it. That was the other thing, there aren't enough actual people on the floor to help with refilling drinks or checking on your needs. The meat servers seemed to double as runners to also get things you needed. I asked several times throughout the night for cheese bread since it wasn't at the bar and was the item I was most excited to try. They would acknowledge my request but never come back with it or what was worse was that the server came back with a tray of cheese bread but only to go around to all the other tables first and ran out by the time they got to us. They never apologized to us or offered to get more, they just forgot about it. One Yelper said it was the best cheese bread they've had and they ate 10+ and although it was good, I only got one bite sized gum ball piece all night. Not sure if we went on an off night as there was a larger party of 8 next to us and that's where all the servers went to give good service. After serving that table and a couple other smaller tables, nothing was left for our table. Also, it's true that when they seat you they ask for your meat temp preference but it doesn't matter because they come out with what they come out with and we were served very rare pieces at times despite voicing we preferred medium rare. Overall, I really wished my experience was better. If the service improves this would've been so different. The restaurant is located on an old golf course but it looks nicer on the inside. It is quite dim inside too maybe for a romantic feel but it felt a little too dark and pub like. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this area finally has a Brazilian BBQ spot :') The restaurant is in a golf course club house so the sign is not super obvious. We were greeted immediately by the staff when we arrived. Serena was our waiter and she was great ! All of the staff were really friendly and attentive when it came to the cuts of meat we preferred and refilling our waters. All of the meats were very tender (beef ribs and pichana were our favorites !), and I loved that they had the grilled cinnamon pineapple !!! Their salad bar has a diverse selection of veggies, cheeses and side. I love that they also had a hot bar with mashed potatoes (delicious by the way), mushroom beef stroganoff, and plantains. Was looking through Yelp to find a new spot to eat at and stumbled upon this place. We love Brazilian bbq so we decided to check this place out. Service is great. Everyone is super attentive, helpful and kind. We were seated right by the window and had a great view of the golf course and the sunset. I highly suggest making a reservation during that time so you can go outside and take some "golden hour" photos lol. They have a good selection of sides/starches. Kids under $10 are free. 5/5 Picanha was cooked rare to medium which is often hard to find at Brazilian bbqs. They tend to be medium, medium well. 5/5 Service from Carlos, the star of the night. I made reservations for this past Saturday. I'm so happy to have a Brazilian BBQ restaurant in our area!! As we walked in, we were greeted right away. The restaurant decor is pretty nice! They have a buffet style with hot food and salad...everything was fresh! Carlos was our server, super attentive and very polite. Within a few minutes the meats start rolling out. The meats were a little dry... but still tasty....The Picanha was the best one. Roy the owner, came to all the tables asking for feed back... I think that is so awesome, to hear from the customers. I think once they have a rhythm, they are going be fantastic! I will definitely return soon!! read more

This place opened up near my home and I'm a fan of churrascarías style steakhouses. The place has open for about 2 months but has great potential. It's located at the Royal Vista Clubhouse. The decor is nice and still looks like they're working on it. The outside needs some work, but the dinner was pleasant overall. I might have rated this lower but the more time we spent the more the staff impressed. One server went to tell us how the owners allow them to take the food home to their families as much as they want. He said that way they are forced to make everything fresh every day. The buffet style self serve sides tasted fresh. Each server had a different style but all so happy, they all seemed to love their job. So maybe the food and ambience is a 3, but the staff made the whole experience a 4. They just were so happy and pleasant you couldn't walk out without a smile. The bathroom definitely need an upgrade but the place is a work in progress. I will definitely be back, not because I thought the food was the best, but I can't help but think this place will get better with time. read more

Had a beautiful dinner here at Vista. Just in the Royal Golf Course clubhouse. Lots of different meat varieties. Expansive salad bar and lots of great hot foods.
