Great lunch service and certainly more than enough good food. Really like their ranch dressing and the chicken seems fresh not just some heated up frozen stuff

Complimentary bread, salad that came with our meal, and complimentary ribs for it being our first time
    Robbie M.

We got the ribs and steak combo in order to try different things and share. The ribs were VERY good, but the steak was a bit chewy, ordered medium. It was $48. I don't go to steakhouses much at all, but that seems like a ton for what was served. It came with salad, beans, and bread. The brown (rye?) bread was so sweetly delicious! And great dipped in the beans, too. We had mentioned to the waitress that it was our first time, and then we ordered. Later, while we were waiting for our food, she brought us a small plate of ribs and told us she had been informed it was our first time (I guess by the host, who we had also mentioned it to too), and that all first-timers get free ribs. That was fun to hear, and of course we appreciated it, but if we had known that we would not have ordered ribs as our main! The other unexpected thing was finding out from our receipt that sharing a meal cost $4.50 extra! What?! Yes, she did split the beans into two bowls and the salads onto two plates and asked us each what dressing we wanted, but I assumed that was complimentary and kind... Not something that was going to cost extra. We would have happily eaten from the same plate!

I feel slightly bad giving PInnacle Peak's a 3 but I do so to encourage the management to take a look at the place. I could have gone 1 or 2 on some aspects and a 5 on others. Why is that? 1 - service was a 5, very attentive, friendly and helpful 2 - bread was okay, didn't really have an opinion 3 - cornbread and butter was awesome 4 - server recommended the French Dip - it was okay - meat was a bit thick and fatty and bread was burnt 5 - getting feedback from our table everyone enjoyed it and fun to see a neighbor's table have ties cut off Overall, it feels dark and a bit dilapidated. I know it's supposed to be rustic but rustic needs to be maintained. I feel for the place because it's a cool old building and I'm sure it's a lot to maintain. But, I think a little sweat and effort could go a long way. I'll give it another shot. I'd like to review dinner as we came for lunch.

Casual steakhouse for the cowboy/girl experience. The prices are reasonable and steaks are well prepared. Great place for the family and kids, its has a very special atmosphere, they have fun cutting the ties off the braves souls that walk in with a tie...haha

1/2 rack of Pork Ribs & 10oz center cut sirloin steak. Not the greatest quality of meat

Thought I'd try this spot again to see if anything had changed since my past experience. Pinnacle Peak has a unique and memorable atmosphere--definitely one of the more fun and quirky dining environments I've been to. The walls lined with cut-off ties give the place a lot of character and charm. It's a cool experience if you're looking for something different. That said, the food still doesn't didn't live up to the setting. The steak, ordered medium rare, was tough and clearly not the best quality. For a place that prides itself on steak, that was a letdown. The rest of the meal was just okay--nothing particularly stood out. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which helped balance out the experience. Overall, Pinnacle Peak is worth visiting for the atmosphere, but don't go in expecting a top-tier steakhouse meal.

This steakhouse has been feeding customers for generations, established more than 50 years ago. It's is a VERY casual atmosphere with a ranch style and Cowboy theme. This is an excellent restaurant for graduation or Father's day (hint, hint, they are sure to enjoy the casual environment). Full bar, beer and wine available. The Hostess greeted me and served me right away. The tables were adorned with red-checked tablecloths over a picnic-style table. The Hostess reappeared as the Server and Food Runner. She was the only one on duty and handled it all with a smile and accommodated my special requests. I ordered the Diablo Burger that came with Serrano peppers, grilled onions, Pepper-Jack cheese (lettuce, tomatoes and pickles), a side of pinto beans and a small bag of potato chips. SPOILER ALERT: Dressing up and wearing a shirt & tie will get you in trouble! A cowbell and siren will ring out as the servers circle your table and cut your tie off and tack it to the wall! Look at the display behind me. It's all in fun, don't tell the guest of honor. Get your camera ready to take a photo when it all happens live!! MENU HIGHLIGHTS: -Trail Boss 28oz Porterhouse. -Cowboy Cut 20oz T-Bone. -Cowgirl Cut 16oz T-Bone. -Cattlemen 12oz Ribeye. -Little Mavericks menu for kids 12 years and younger (hot dog or 1/3 rack of pork ribs), includes salad, pinto beans, bread, soft drinks and ice cream scoop. Steak, Chicken, Pork Chops, Shrimp, Pork Ribs combos are available. Sandwiches of Prime Rib Beef Dip, Chicken Sandwich, Burgers, Cobb Salad, Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad. If you can, save room for dessert! -Apple Pie ala Mode; Brownie Sundae; Mud Pie; Chocolate Cake; and Apple Cobbler. NOTE: They do have Keto and Vegetarian options. Plan on having a good lunch or dinner Tuesday-Sunday and don't forget to tell'em that Rosemary sent ya!

Still fantastic food, all these years later. Pretty sure I first tried Pinnacle Peaks was in the late 90s. It's been a couple years but this place is still delicious. A Cowboy steak is enough meat to last most people 2 meals.

The service was amazing and the food was great. Nothing beats the mesquite flavor on the grill 10 out of 10 definitely will be back. Old school, setting western style, but very chill and accommodating

Delicious steakhouse! Located up against the foothills of San Dimas, Pinnacle Peak has been one of my family's favorite restaurants. Great for birthdays. Staff is really friendly and restaurant is clean.

This is a juicy flat iron steak.

Ask the Community - Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse

Are there Happy Hour specials and, if so, what days/times?

Do they still have beef ribs?

    Yes, they have ribs

I need reservations for 5 this Saturday the 17? Is it possible around 4 pm?

I didn't have reservations when I was there. Even though it was crowded, they did a great job getting everyone seated fast. I don't think we waited 5 minutes. BTW: They open at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Are we able to make reservations ? Your phone can't call in :(

I wasn't able to make a reservation when I went in December with a party of 6. Not sure what their policy is.

    Is outdoor dining still available?

Not anymore, but the weekday afternoons are less crowded times to go

    Are you open Christmas Eve?

They were open last Christmas Eve, but I would call first to make sure :)

Are your bathrooms available for customer use?

    Yes

Are they open for indoor dining? If so, are reservations suggested?

Yes, they are open for indoor dining. They told me I should make a reservation due to limited capacity. Current hours: 7 days a week 11:30-1:30 and 5:30-7:30pm.

Is the outside dining under a canopy to keep a lil warm?

    Yes

Are they open for outside dine in?

As of 2/12/21 they are open for outside dine in

Do they still cut the ties off and hang them?

    Yes!!!!

    Peanuts on floor?

No ....no peanuts on the floor...just ties all over the walls

    How long is the wait?

It depends on the night & party size, but for party of 6 or more you could make a reservation. They are also open for lunch. In the past we have waited 1:30-2 hours but totally worth it

    Do they take reservation?

Yes, and they serve large groups too!

Do u have Dodgers in the bar area?

If you request them, they will come ( yes they'll put it on for you)

Yes the restaurant was busy but communication would have been considerate. We ordered three Prime Ribs, three baked potatoes, asparagus, mushrooms, and macaroni and cheese. When the server arrived, we politely declined dessert because we hadn't finished our meal yet. Initially, we had presented the hostess with a cake decorated with candles and the number 58, which was intended to bring to the table for my husband. My son reminded the server as she went up the stairs that we brought in a cake for my husband with candles and the number 58. Interestingly, only my son and I at the table sang "Happy Birthday," and only the candles numbered 5 and 8 were lit. To make matters worse, the servers didn't clear our dinner plates, leaving them on the table with food still on them waiting for boxes. I'm planning to share a photo of this incident. This experience was one of the most disappointing I've had in a while. The service was terrible, and there was no apology for the poor service we received. This was completely unacceptable. I was mainly here for their drinks the night I went and don't recall what I've eaten at the graduation party. Their plantain chips were decent along with their dip. Their empanadas were average and I think their calamari was good but not the best. Nick had made our drinks the whole night and he was awesome! He had a good sense of humor and kind service. I had ordered IPAs and tried their guava margarita. The prices are high, but sensical for the view you get peeking out towards the 10 freeway. I noticed an area for photos especially if you're graduating or hosting an event. I'd recommend coming if you've never been before.

The patio has a plastic sheeting covering the whole area which made it like a sauna. We couldn't feel any breeze and with about 25 adult bodies, it got hot! Very limited service. We had to go to the bar to get our drinks including our water. When I ordered drinks at the bar, I asked for a Jack and Coke. I got a well whiskey instead of Jack Daniels without even being asked if that would be ok. Which wasn't the greatest. We had shared appetizers which was tasty. But I wasn't much in the mood for eating, since it was too hot. If I were to come back, I definitely wouldn't sit on the patio! And come back at night when you have views of city lights vs the freeway and everyone in traffic trying to get home.
