My experience was very similar to the previous reviewers. I started with this company because they were the only game in town. Now they are not, but still act like they are. I loose service and call them and they have no information and promise to call when they do, but of course never call, no apologies, no refunds, nothing. Any other service I've had where that happens, they can't apologize enough and refund you more than the value of what you lost. When I decided to cancel them, they informed me that I still have to pay for 30 days! This was apparently buried somewhere in tiny print in their contract. There are NO utilities/services I have ever dealt with in 40 years that don't allow you to cancel their service then pro-rate the amount you owe up to cancellation. I would counsel anyone thinking about getting this service to look elsewhere. read more

Update: after being told that there would be a $180 early termination fee I was then changed $606 dollar. This company is a joke. Take your business else where. We did not have many choice in internet and so this was the company we got. The service is awful and we were left without internet often. Despite them telling us we would have enough bandwidth to run our smart TVs we did not and apps were constantly buffering. Half our house does not have internet ( it's not that big ) and they paced the router and said we would have service though the whole house. We are now moving out do the area and when I called to cancel service I was told we had 2 year contract and there would be a fee to cancel. We new we would not be here for two years and I specifically asked the sales rep for a month to month contract. All and all an awful company and experience. If you can't get another provider I would recommend calling your cell phone company and getting a hotspot. It'll be much more reliable and cost-effective. read more

We are very happy so far with the service that Visa has provided for us. Everyone has been great and professional! With my previous internet provider (AT&T), the connection was really slow, fuzzy, delayed, and unreliable. I have Vista for less than a month now and I'm very happy with the connection. Our internet is insanely fast Daniel and George are my installers. I'm very impressed with the work these guys did. We have used Vista Braodband to provide access to the internet for many years. Our location does not provide many other options, if any, but that is not a problem - the service has been excellent! The only issues with access - have been due to the wild fires or an unusual equipment problem that has been fixed quickly. Someone always answers the phone and assists with any trouble shooting necessary. I think I have only called them a handfull of times in all these many years. I highly recommend the company, its employees and the service. read more

I've been using Vista Broadband service at home and in business for about 10 years and could not be happier with the service. I never had a better experience with any ISP. 5 stars for great customer service, price, and speed. The support team is the best, they are very competent, friendly, and show up on time when they say they will (compare to Comcast which stood me up twice at my last place when I took time out to meet them). No giant corporate phone tree to deal with. No runaround. No escalations. No guessing. No BS. We really appreciate the customer service that we were provided. I had Vista Internet installed at my home in Santa Rosa. Ryan is my installer. He was very informative, fast, and helpful in giving me all the info I need. STAY AWAY! get new T-mobile 5G internet for $50 or Starlink for $110 instead. We disconnected our service at two locations with Vista on 1/1/2019 but no one sent an email to cancel the service. Yes our mistake. They continued to bill us for 3 years over $1,200 per month. Vista said they didn't notice over those 3 years it was off even though ISP's have end point monitoring software. They refused to refund any of the money. The CEO personally refused in a email to offer any kind of solution and in fact they are charging us for a piece of equipment that is missing. I guess getting over $40,000 for providing no service for 3 years was not enough. read more

Had our business Vista Internet installed last week by Dano and Scott. I am absolutely happy with their service- helpful and professional. They were able to assist our company with the technical issues we had from the previous internet that we had installed and were able to sort and clean everything up. Plus, the speed is so much faster even when I use VPN. I was amazed at the fast, competent customer service! I was so used to horrible customer service with long delays from AT&T. I'm so glad I made the switch! I highly recommend Vista! Our company have always appreciated Vista and joked that I'd be a customer for life. My company used Vista for a number of years. It started out OK, but service got worse over that time. Our company was located near the Napa country airport, so we didn't have very many options that we could afford. Before relocating to another office park we were having almost daily internet outages, typically 30 to 60 minutes each! The service became downright terrible! For the new office location we had even fewer options for internet service in our price range. Regrettably, we signed up for Vista again. Big Mistake! As we are moving into our new location Vista comes out to do the install and tells us "ooops, trees are in the way so we can't deliver a signal to you!", leaving us completely high and dry! We were completely screwed! For the next week our office of 20 people had to share an internet connection that was delivered by a single cell modem until we could get a bonded DSL connection delivered by Sonic.net via AT&T. Everyone in the company was angry at me for selecting Vista! (Yes, Vista, thanks for that!) Vista was no help to us at all. They couldn't deliver on the promises they made, and did nothing to try to fix the situation. Do not use Vista for YOUR business, no matter how small! Too unreliable. Even when it's working you can't count on consistent bandwidth, so you often pay for bandwidth you never get. The apparent savings vs. any hardwired solution is just not worth the headaches. read more

I manage an IT service provider company that covers the SF Bay Area. We use Vista Broadband at our main office and couldn't be happier. Even though wireless internet services are typically high latency and high jitter, Vista's connection is not. We are able to operate our VoIP phone system's SIP trunk and remote phones on their connection without issue. We push Vista's wireless and fiber services at all our clients because the reliability and support of all their products is fantastic! If you have a business and need a good, solid, reliable internet connection with a company who stands by their product, Vista Broadband is the way to go! We have over half of our clients using their service and on the rare occasion there is an issue with the connection either they have already called me to let me know they are working on it or they answer the phone right away when I call in to tech support. The best part is that i get a technician that actually knows what they are talking about (What a concept...hiring people who actually know what they are doing). Technical Babble: Pings to google.com from our office typically come back in under 10ms and over an hour the worst jitter I have is 2-4ms on average. That is pretty spectacular for ANY internet service! read more

The customer's experience, energy and time is not their priority. I had their microwave internet service for several years. Service got worse and worse. For a very expensive $110 per month they promised "up to 10Mbps" download speeds. "Up to" are the key words here I guess. They consistently delivered 1.5-2 Mbps, even slower in the evenings. Forget about streaming video, downloading Netflix, etc., you'll only see the little wheel spinning and a "buffering" message. When they had transmission problems, Tech support was generally good. On the other hand, sales support/responsiveness was abysmal. Most microwave ISPs have poor performance and promise a lot more than they deliver. But you can get equally crappy service at half the price elsewhere. If you are considering microwave service vs hard-wired (DSL, cable, Ethernet) you should ALWAYS go with hard wired, even if it costs a bit more. These guys just aren't very good. read more

I have used VBBN for over 5 years and have connected several friends too and we have had nothing but the highest possible internet connection speed/service and quick friendly help and tech support. Computer techs are amazed at the speed of up and down loads we have with this service. The only complaints I would have is that ones main VBBN homepage is a bit outdated and somewhat difficult to navigate especially with Smart phones. But I rarely need to go there so it is not a big problem. They also DO NOT bill or have available online billing or payments which would really be nice. Highly recommended service!!
