Plants of Rv parking and hook ups

Great North County camping and RV spot in Vista. Huge RV parking area for campers and RV's, fire pits, covered picnic table area if 20+ tables, bbq area, covered "outside bar" cabana - very cool! There's an Elks club lodge, but I didn't see inside, looked pretty big for large gatherings and such. My cousins camp here at least twice a year and we have bbqs and picnics on the facilities. Very well kept place, I'm told they have typical RV hook ups, internet and laundry facilities.

Horrible people. Should be ashamed of themselves. We were turned away because their "host" thought our SUPER CUTE RV wasn't up to their standards!?!? Really?! I don't like to do this but she was horrible and we had reservations all set drove a long way and we were tired!!! And we were not allowed to stay it was such an awful experience. Plus we were relocating for WORK!!!! I am posting pictures of our RV just to show how wrong she was. inRegardless her RV was horrible WT all the way. Sorry but true.

Great place with lots of friendly people. We have stayed here 2 times before in the RV Section. We have full hook ups at a really good rate. The food has always been great in the restaurant and the bartenders are happy and all very nice. If you want even more food options Ciao is next door and Prohibition is across the street. The only reason for 4 stars Vs 5 is that the RV section could use a facelift. I wish I lived here so I could do this for them. Throw away some old stuff, clean up around the couple of rigs that are permanent. Our view was not as good during our last visit because of the neighbor home with too much stuff across the way.

What a great lodge with the most welcoming people! We are visiting the RV park with our new RV and are having such a great time! Everyone in the lodge has made sure we feel welcomed, and we have eaten several great meals in the lodge so far. Tonight (Wednesday) is buffet and karaoke night (open to the general public), and there are more excellent singers than we ever ever seen in a karaoke bar! One of the members (Jerry), is as close the professional as you can get, and it was a great treat to hear to him sing! And, he's 81 years old! The food and service have been great, and we can't wait to come back!

    Really Nice RV Park

Best hi speed internet I've ever seen at an RV park over 10mb down. Compared to Oceanside Elks that has barely 500kb down or up. Love the trees and away from all street noise, septic for all!! Great bar, fun people

I think the man who felt the club is racist should not be so quick to judge. He obviously didn't take any time to get the members. His loss!

She keeps a cool head and always has a huge smile on her face, I felt as if I'd known her for years after the very first meeting! She helped every step of the way, from planning, to suggesting vendors like the DJ and officiant, to helping with set-up and adding her own little touches to the tables. On the day, Lindy helped calm me down when I was nervous, kept everyone in touch among the two parties when we were getting ready, but while she worked she stayed so under the radar, quietly and almost unseen just cleaning up and making sure everything was running smoothly; I cannot sing Lindy's praises enough! The venue itself is sublime - rustic, beautiful, intimate but open and with plenty of space for any party. We had around 50 guests which is way below capacity but the way Lindy and her team arranged the tables made it feel just right. For a fairly cold evening (January wedding), the fire pit and the two heaters they provided were most welcome! We even had a most welcome and blessed visit from site cat Ninja who was a big hit! Everything was just utterly perfect, all our guests said this was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. If you're looking for a beautiful outdoor venue, you will not find a more perfect place than Quail Haven. Thank you so much for everything Lindy!

We also opted for the flatbread pizza option during cocktail hour and did NOT regret it. The venue is already so gorgeous with all the lush greenery and flowers. We added lots of our own touches like Mexican flags, cacti on tables, table runners, etc. It was so much fun to be able to dress up the venue to reflect our personalities. First, what wedding venue asks for a deposit before giving you a contract? We had to put our money down before we could even read the terms because, at the time, we simply didn't know any better. When my now-wife later asked what would happen if we decided not to sign, we were told we would not get our money back. That is an incredibly unfair position to put a couple in, especially when you are planning one of the biggest and most expensive days of your life. The rental situation is where things really started to feel wrong. During our tour, we were given the impression that the ballroom could comfortably accommodate 300 guests. After signing, we were told that our 200 guests would actually be "too tight" with their chairs and that we would need narrower chairs through their rental process. We were told they handled rentals because they wanted to help us get the best prices. We trusted that. Instead, we were given rental prices significantly higher than what we were finding elsewhere, with charges presented as things like "delivery and tax." When we asked if The Havens took a cut of the rentals, they said no. We then asked for the actual rental company invoices, and they refused to provide them. If you aren't taking a cut, why hide the invoice? After we cancelled, we pushed for an honest answer and they finally admitted that they do take a cut, something that was never disclosed in our contract. And on top of that, they wanted to charge us nearly two thousand dollars to store their own chairs! At that point, it was hard not to feel like we had been maneuvered into a system that financially benefited The Havens while we were left paying the price. When we raised our concerns, they took no accountability. They were also incredibly unprofessional with our wedding planner, who was simply trying to advocate for us. The hardest part was watching what all of this did to my wife. There were too many nights filled with stress, frustration, and tears over something that should have been one of the happiest times of our lives. I watched her excitement about being a bride turn into anxiety about dealing with The Havens. I ultimately knew this was not what I wanted for our wedding, and it certainly was not what I wanted for my bride. Walking away was the best decision we made for our wedding, but I cannot reconcile the emotional and financial toll this experience put us through. I am a business owner myself, and I cannot imagine treating a customer this way. When someone brings a legitimate concern to me, I work to make it right. I have refunded customers plenty of times because doing the right thing matters more than keeping the money. I genuinely do not understand how The Havens can continue defending what happened instead of taking accountability and making things right. I sincerely hope The Havens takes a moment to reflect on what this experience has put my wife, myself, and our families through and chooses to do the right thing by finally giving us the resolution and closure we deserve.

We were able to snag a spot up at the top luckily. They have a two sample limit & then you can buy drinks by the bottle or glass. The day we went they were having a 25% off bottle sale. There was only one employee we saw during the entirety of our visit but he was super friendly. We ordered a bottle, the charcuterie platter and a pizza. The charcuterie board is refrigerated and they provide a bag of crackers as well. We went with the veggie pizza & it took maybe 20 minutes to come out and was absolutely delicious. The grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous. There are 3 covered areas to sit at up top with plenty of seating. Down the first flight of stairs has a fish pond and some beautiful areas to walk around. I'm not sure if that area was where they do weddings as there was also a spot across the way with a dais, but we didn't make it over there. The wine was delicious! Initially, we were scheduled to hold her special day at a venue aboard Camp Pendleton, however, with the current state of... everything... we made the decision to start looking elsewhere for a venue out in town. My daughter and I were vendors at an event a couple weeks prior and fell in love with the look and feel of the Vistonian. Once we realized that having the her party on base was no longer an option, the first place we looked was this downtown Vista gem. The location was major. Moving it off base, alleviated the stress of having to worry about guests not being able to attend due to security restrictions, there was ample parking, the venue was partially decorated in the style that we were hoping to capture, we were able to bring in our own catering, vendors were able to access and move about the venue with ease, and working with Shelly Firth made for a stress-free, accommodating, professional experience. The Vistonian Venue offers a rustic, refined, Boho, modern, minimalistic aesthetic that fit perfectly with our rustic tropical Philippines Filipina vision we had for the party. The luscious greens throughout the venue helped to minimize the amount of greenery we had to bring in to curate the vibe. The open, high ceilings with exposed beams and tasteful touches of modern wood elements also added to the ambiance we were hoping to achieve. As our coordinator, Shelly was amazing. She worked with my desired layout so that the day of the event we walked in and start setting up without hang-ups. It made it a lot easier for everyone involved in set-up on our side. During the event, the restrooms stayed clean, the trash levels were maintained, and as the go-to gal, even I was able to relax, visit with guests, and enjoy the special evening. When I share with others about the Vistonian Venue, the first thing I say is that it was truly serendipitous. It played out exactly as it should have. For it to work out the way that it did, made it better than I could have possibly imagined. Reflecting on the night, the first adjective that comes to mind is FUN. Everyone had fun, especially the birthday girl.

The bathrooms were clean and had multiple stalls to accommodate the ladies. There is also a huge kitchen with a walk in frig that is available for use as part of your rental. We had approximately 250+ guests attend our event and there was plenty of space in the back lawn area for over flow seating. We used the outdoor patio area to set up 4 buffet lines of food. 2 lines for our catered meal, 1 line for kids meal, and 1 line for our cultural foods. The patio area also had ample room for us to place our photo booth there. The back grass and patio area looks spectacular at night with the market lights to add to the festive ambiance. The grounds were large enough to house an adult sized jumper that helped to keep our younger guests entertained. The grass area still had plenty of available space for a corn hole spot, our marquee letter signs and our taco guy we hired to end our night's festivities. Shannon is the property manager, and she is a true gem. She worked tirelessly with us to help obtain all our vendor COIs and was extremely kind to allow us to come the day before our party to drop off our drinks and many party supplies. Anything we needed, Shannon was there to help resolve. She is friendly and professional, with a sense of humor to boot. We received sooo many compliments from our family and friends about how beautiful the venue was. Of course, anyone who dealt with Shannon adored her and her down to earth vibe! We loved that we could bring our own food to the venue without being tied to a set list of food vendors. The bar area was also spacious and the bartender kept the libations flowing all night long. The Optimist Club has 3 belly tables with linens that came with rental of the venue. These worked out fabulously for our guests wanting to hang out by the bar and smoking area.
