I loved how Steven knew with out a doubt that he was giving me the best deal, and he totally did! I'm leaving one star, because I couldn't leave zero. I bought a 2020 BMX X7 in February from them and still don't have my license plates. I've called 7 times and every time I get told the one person who handles this isn't there. The car itself needed repairs as my mechanic noticed coolant leaking as soon as I left the dealership. They sent me to the most disgusting shady shop for a bandaid solution. The problem kept persisting and they kept insisting I keep brining the car in as if I don't have a job. I ended up paying my mechanic $1800 to fix the issue and another $500 to charge the weak A/C. Stay away from this place! read more

I didn't think to look at Yelp reviews for a car dealership...until now. We bought a car here in March and still have not received the registration. Every time my husband calls he is told "Angie" is the one who handles that and she is never available. He was only able to speak to her once in 6 months and she blamed a "temp agency" for messing up the paperwork and was supposedly on her way to the DMV that day to file it personally. Months later we have no registration, the temporary plate has expired, and we are unable to get any answers from Vista Motors or Angie. Our finance company has also tried. We have filed an official complaint with the DMV. Oh, and in reading other reviews I can verify that we were also told the anti-theft was not optional and we were mandated to buy it. read more

"Pre installed anti theft" apparently partnered with Verizon and T-mobile which I don't have as a carrier, unwilling to do business on a car that has sat for more than 140+ days, take your business elsewhere plus any price on there website just add $5500 in hidden fees to save you some time. read more

I purchased a 2016 Polaris Slingshot from Vista Motors on June 12, 2025. The dealership allowed me to test drive the vehicle without verifying insurance or providing a helmet -- something clearly negligent and unsafe under California law. I was explicitly told that my insurance would apply, and this was said in front of my brother and my son, who both heard it. Less than 24 hours later, the vehicle was in an accident. When I contacted my insurance company, I was told the Slingshot was classified as a motorcycle -- a fact the dealer never disclosed. Because of that, my claim was denied. After the accident, I tried contacting Vista Motors many times. Each time I was told: "The owner isn't available," "The manager will call you," "Try again next week," or "Maybe after the weekend." It became obvious they were just stalling, hoping I'd give up. --- I've been left physically, emotionally, and financially hurt. I feel completely betrayed and misled. I have filed formal complaints with: California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) California Attorney General's Office Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Better Business Bureau (BBB) If Really, nothing is resolved, I will take this to California Claims Court. They will also sell you something called theft patrol without telling you and add it to the bill. It's over 1500, some GPS tracking that's really worthless. BE CAREFUL I bought a 2016 Range Rover the first day I took it home. The engine started making noise. I called them. They picked it up in the tow truck and told me they took it to the dealer to have it checked out and that they had to change a sensor. I went to pick up the car and the Range Rover still had the same noise and they said that the car was perfectly fine. I joined a Range Rover page on Facebook and posted the noise that the car was making, and a few people told me it was probably the timing chain guides. I made more research and it sounded like it. I took it to a mechanic. They had it there for three months and couldn't get to it so I took it out took it to another mechanic. He had it for a week. Nothing that's in Bakersfield, California slow I ended up taking it to a mechanic in Van Nuys, California. Sure thing the guys were worn out. The timing chain was loose and if I kept using it? I would have ruined my engine. What is the engine was open and the timing chain timing chain guys and some cooling lines are broke along with two injectors that broke while taking everything apart had to be replaced. I also replaced the water pump just because everything there was open. The radiator had a small crack and had to be replaced. Oh, I almost forgot the first shot. I took it to had to replace the starter and the battery that were both bad in total I spent close to $6000 on engine work. I did try to return the Range Rover the day after and they told me I couldn't and I have that on text messages. After all this work was done eight months later and I only put about 1100 miles on the car because it was sitting otherwise I would've won the engine. I was trying to see if they would help me out with the bill even if it wasn't the complete mail, I would have been satisfy with 2500. They said they couldn't do anything, knowing that they saw your car with a bad engine, when I told him I was going to put a bad review. The manager threatening me telling me he has my address and he knew where I live. I started going off. They couldn't understand much of what he was saying because of this bad accent. I purchased a car in December 2024 I took the car to the shop because the car seem to not be driving so well only for them to inform me that the car was in an accident that wasn't reported and there was a whole bunch of glue and damage and things hanging underneath the car. it looked a mess when they showed me underneath $2600 worth of repairs not to mention I haven't even had. anything under the hood looked at also they put a $2000 theft protection in your contract. They slip it in on you which is very dishonest. They don't even give people an option to choose. They are very nice at first and go through your paperwork very quickly to make a sale but once you leave, good luck, I'm not going to slander this business, but I am going to warn others if I were you I wouldn't purchase a car here at all. Read the yelp reviews and read the Google reviews. There's reviews on car gurus BBB also I only saw the good reviews when I was considering buying a car from here. I wish I would've saw the other reviews just because a car looks nice. Doesn't mean that it drives well and just because you receive good customer service doesn't mean you received a good car I personally feel like they get cars from the auction or junkyard or cars that have been in accidents or that are salvaged or that have problems and they do the bare minimum and then sell them because what I saw underneath my vehicle the guy at the collision shop told me there's no way they could've sold you a car in this condition. . I'm not able to get an alignment and the car is thrown out of wack due to accident damage; the collision center tells me I need a subframe ; car is outta whack ; so I have to fix a bunch of stuff collision wise for an accident. I didn't even have or that wasn't reported. Also I recommend you guys purchasing a warranty outside of this place so that if anything goes wrong, your car will be covered because I definitely don't trust these people so I will be purchasing the warranty just in case because you never know do your research but trust me don't buy a car from here. This dealership caters to dumb and desperate buyers! If you ask questions that they cannot answer, the salesman will send you to the General Manager/Owner who is both unprofessional and condescending. He will give you the run around and cut you off before you can finish your sentence. I simply asked for proof that the car for sale has no lien and under the dealership's name and the big boss, acting all smug, showed me a screen shot saying it's received. Sufficient proof includes an actual title or a lien release letter, both of which he couldn't even provide. Because I was not gullible, he began acting rude and making it seem like I don't know what I'm talking about. This is a shady dealers tactic to distract unsuspecting customers. More likely the car still has a loan and the buyer's payment will be used to pay it off. And if you ask for documentation rather than just taking his word for it, the big boss will be defensive and act like your wasting his time. Very negative vibes. As soon as I got there I noticed a different price online, I mentioned it and was told the car I was looking at was the only vehicle with non updated pricing and that the others were the correct price, yea right. I then asked if there was a different cash vs financing price and I was told no. When I got home and saw the online price was still $1500 less than the price they changed it to when I arrived, I called them out again and was told that's the cash price as if I hadn't asked that question before and was told a different answer. One was cracked as well had to do everything myself the tires are bad all around wrong size 280$ later fixed my problem I got the proper NGKslark plugs proper tires all around brand new , bran new coil ...let's just see when we go back if they can Atlewst reimburse me for the parts labor I'll pay and lose on but parts were 200 it's the Lemon Law as they say but they would've taken it to their mechanic and who knows if they would putt the right stuff on already the wrong things we're onn . They tried to charge higher than the advertised price using a factory-made feature as an excuse. I made an appointment With Vista Motors to test drive an Alfa Romeo they had on the lot. I contacted them one day before my appointment at the end of the day to confirm my test drive for the following morning. Their Sales agent Nick confirmed the appointment and confirmed the car was available. I arrived the next morning (after driving over an hour and half) to the lot. I am greeted by Brandt the sales manager who tells me he is so sorry the car I am there to test drive was just sent to an Alfa Romeo dealer for brake noise, headlight flicker and an AC fan issue. Brandt apologizes profusely and promises me $1000.00 off asking if I come back. I asked him to appraise my trade in since it was with us on the lot. He checks the vin and inspects the trade in. Brandt confirms he is in authority to make final deals and any approval he may need is granted from the boss right inside. Brandt offers me $8500.00 for my trade in and confirms I will get $1000.00 off asking for the car I am interested in purchasing. (at the time of the offer the car is on the website for $18,900). WE SHAKE HANDS AND I CONFIRM THE DEAL VERBALLY WHILE SHAKING HANDS. ($8500 For my trade in and $1000.00 off asking (sticker price)). That night the dealership enters into a sales period and updates their website prices. The car I am interested in is now offered for sale on the website for $17,777.00. A few days later my wife and I went to test drive the Alfa Romeo. Brandt confirms again that all work (oil change, and repairs ) had been performed by the closest Alfa Romeo dealer . I ask to see the work order from the Alfa Dealer. They give very thorough reports when they work on vehicles, and I wanted to have a firm understanding of what repairs were just performed to the vehicle I was purchasing. Now Brandt says there wasn't any issue with the brakes or the headlights. That all was done was to recharge the A/C. Conveniently, the head mechanic is the only person (in a very small operation) that has access to this paperwork, and he took a personal day and couldn't be reached. I asked that it be sent to me if I purchase the vehicle and Brandt says he will. Brandt now reneges on our deal and begins to present now trade in numbers. He now says all they will give me for my trade is $8000.00 AND that the lowest they will go on the car is $17,777.00. He now refused to give me the $1000.00 off asking he promised me and that we shook hands on just days before. My Wife loved the car so I bought it anyway only to find out in needs over $2000.00 in mandatory repairs that must be completed right away. Long story short. Vista Motors is not an honest dealer. They will make deals to get you back and then attempt to rip you off. We shook hands and made a deal and then when the paperwork came Vista Motors raised the price $1500.00. They lied about the condition of the vehicle and lied about it being fixed by a certified mechanic. I have since spoken with ALFA ROMEO and they have confirmed that VISTA Motors lied about the car being serviced by any of their dealerships. STAY AWAY FAR AWAY. read more

I then started signing a variety of paperwork which I signed, however I do not remember ever seeing a Retail Installment Sale Contract, nevertheless the contract has a signature which appears to be m be electronically signed. LONG STORY SHORT, when I got home and reviewed the documents, I noticed the THEFT PATROL charge for $2000.00 on my paperwork, which is the reason I needed that additional money. I was NEVER informed of a fee for THEFT PATROL, they have a contract with the owner of the company providing THEFT PATROL. The document also states it is not a stipulation of financing, this is there way to put more money in their pockets and pretend like they care about the customers financial situation when in reality they are a bunch of less than truthful and they need to be EXPOSED...... THEY GOT ME, DON'T LET THEM GET YOU !!!! *FOLLOW UP***. After I posted this review Jose calls me to say he and his manager reviewed my post and said I should have spoken with him before posting. He then stated the additional charges were from my GAP insurance. I had to let him know that I chose a car from his company because I liked the price not the business. I brought my own financing and Gap is purchased through a lender not Vista Motors. Jose then states well me and my manager don't like the post and want to cancel the deal. I bought a 2014 Toyota Sienna here Wed, CarFax report the salesman shared with me showed ties being replaced in Lancaster where they got it from. When I bought the car I took it to MY mechanic for a pre purchase inspection, after the fact, as they didn't allow my to let my mechanic inspect it before buying. The CAR itself was good but the tires were almost bald in front and the rear tires were weathered and cracked badly. The front tires were the wrong size and different size from the rear. Cost me an additional $400 for the correct tires 2 days later. I will NOT buy a used car without a PRE inspection from my mechanic. I just bought a Range Rover here today. The truck is pretty nice, it has some dents and scratches, but overall not too bad for a 6 year old vehicle. I would give 5 stars but it came with 35 miles of gas in it and they didn't wash it before i got it. They will make you buy the LoJack and various other accessories, but I found that their cars are priced a little below market which makes up for it. Overall good and easy experience, in and out in an hour and a half, including trading in my car and negotiating. Steven (the manager) was very nice and Mariana (the salesperson) was knowledgeable and personable. Just set your expectations properly and they won't let you down. read more

I purchase a car from them and I took it back after two day because a warning light came up , Steven and the mechanic say they would put it on the computer and after 40 mins said it was alright, well the car stop on me while I was driving down a hill and the clutch went out and I call Steven to tell him that when the mechanic took apart the transmission to get to the clutch several other parts were where bad and that why the light was on , Steven acting like a moron and came up with it was not a safety issues and there was nothing he could do and it was over 30 day but he didn't remember that I brought the car back after two days complaining about the light . Those problems were there when he gave me the car back. I brought it on 5/23/23 took it back two day later and Steven and the mechanic said it was fine , now it has to get messy read more

I was looking for a car for about 3 months, I found the car that I was looking for in craigslist at this place and I called the number. The man on the phone talked to me very friendly and he said they can finance the car for me so I drove all the way from Los Angeles to their place a day after I called them, yes the car was parked right in front of their office, I was so excited because the car was in a good shape and it was my first time to finance a car. I drove the car to see how good it is and I really enjoyed it :) the car had more than 100,000 miles on it but it was in a great shape, I got the car and now it's almost 10 months I have this car , I just spend $120 for breaks and $90 for oil change in all these time, i love my car and I'm really happy with it.
