As we live about 10 miles out in the rural South-Side of Richmond Co. Immediately on arrival, a young lady name "Nyasia" who was on duty greeted us and quickly inspected the damage. She then started repairs and had the eyeglasses back together in under 10 mins. She then made sure the eyewear was adjusted to comfortably worn by my wife. This location & employer are blessed to have such a well-mannered, friendly professional as a Go-To representative. Her interaction and professional skills would be a major asset for any employer.

The wait for the doctor was as long as would be expected (35 minutes); I was a walk-in and expected a wait. The doctor was quick and efficient. He managed to be personable even though I was his last patient before he left for vacation. My visit today was just as pleasant. Different doctor, but just as personable and entertaining throughout my exam and our discussions both before and after the exam. Additionally, he offered suggestions for my continued health and eyesight. My only real complaint was the wait. Even though I scheduled an appointment last week, it still took half an hour to call me back to take my measurements and an additional 20 minutes to get back to the doctor. This seems out of bounds when they were expecting me. Time management isn't this practice's strong suit, but if you have the time to spare, this is the place to come for same day glasses and contacts.

The time required for production was predicted at a week and a half. It has been over two weeks and the order still reflects as "in process." When I call the office, I am either placed on an indefinite hold exceeding 15 minutes and no one returns to the call. Or, I am sent directly to voicemail and the call is not returned. My glasses were stepped on hours before my flight from Augusta to NYC, so needless to say, I had no choice but to find a 1 Hour Optical. So my afternoon was set up to include driving over to 1 Hour Optical on the way to the airport, which was perfectly situated on the way. I arrive and look through the choices of which none were below $100. I asked if there were any basic, least expensive glasses and the associate said "yes, they are kept in a box under the counter". So I choose a nice pair for $80 and go through the fitting process. 30 minutes later, it is time for the glasses to be processed and I tell them if I should come back in an hour, which would make it 5:30pm, 30 minutes before they close. The associate says "no we don't have a lab on site, we have to send them off to the store on Bobby Jones Expressway, they should be ready by this time tomorrow". I ask if they have the same pair at that store so that I can just drive over there and get them made, since I need them now. She called and gave them a heads up and gave me my papers so that they wouldn't have to do a fitting again, to save time. That was nice of her. I had to drive to another 1 Hour Optical in the opposite direction of the airport, cutting into my time until my flight leaves. I arrived there and had to look through the box of cheaper glasses that was under the counter as well and found my pair. I then had to wait 15 minutes as they were busy. 1 hour later, a few minutes before they closed, I had my new glasses.
