Even going to the counter to pick up my glasses there were 2 women there, no one even acknowledged my presence. I always wait when approaching because you don't want to assume they are available or they have another customer, so I waited a few moments to be sure. One started cleaning the counter. The other talking on the phone- a personal call- so I approached and they were not happy I pulled them to ask for my glasses that were ready. I did happen to have to go back to have my glasses adjusted and a cute young girl with glasses was welcoming people in. She assisted me and was able to adjust my glasses - as the person who should take the time to do when you receive/pick up your glasses but they didn't. I went back about 2 more times after that and only dealt with her due to all experiences. SHE is the reason this Eyemart Express gets the single star. What is important but unfortunate, I can't remember her name! Where in the world in this city is consistent great glasses and customer care!? I found 1 place then they closed.

Every time we come to see him for an eye exam, we get a bill even though our insurance had stated that we are covered. Stupidly, I continued to pay even though they have shady ways of doing business. We have even called the insurance company and had 3 way conversations stating that the service was covered. This weekend I received another bill and contacted their billing department and this person was again rude and nasty telling me she was not going to resubmit the claim even though she clearly remembered having the 3 way call with my husbands insurance company. I will never ever go back to this eye clinic and hope that you choose a different eye doctor before you go and have to deal with these nasty people who work in his office's billing department. I have never been talked to by an office staff member before in this manner and I refuse to be talked to in the condescending way that I've been spoken to by this person. Dr. Casella, you really should consider getting a different person to handle claims for your office. I asked to speak with you so I could tell you myself and I was ignored.

I had two appointment with Dr. Ben. He checked my eyes to make sure they were in tip toe shape and he fitted for contacts. The contacts that I was given were and still are the best ones I've ever used. Previous ones would dry out and kind of irritate my eyes but the one he issued me feels like I'm not wearing anything at all!!! I love that!!! I also purchased glasses here as well!!! The lady who help with the glasses purchases is super friendly and very helpful!!! I had a hard time deciding what I liked and didn't like, she gave great suggestions. I went with her suggestions and I think I will have a great pair of glasses. This business also keeps up with its customers by sending appointment reminders and letters in the mail. This is what the last place I used lacked in and I'm grateful that I found a place that didn't miss that mark!!! I think this place will do fine with all my eye care needs!!!!

Love the doctor on duty - he's performed every exam I've had and is not only very professional but also knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you may have. Occasionally this store may be super busy, but when someone greets you to let you know you'll be taken care of next or that there is someone in front of you, you know they will get to you as soon as they are through with the customer ahead of you. I made an appointment to get a new eyeglass prescription. As I was led to a room, I told the lady…read morethat I wasn't going to get my eyes dilated today. You'd have thought I told her I was gonna stick needles in my eyes the way she reacted. She told me that "everyone" got their eyes dilated to which I repeated that I wasn't doing that today. She continued to push, saying it was "protocol". I reiterated that I wasn't doing that today and when she continued trying to get me to acquiesce, I told her that she was probably used to old people giving in after that much pressure, but that wasn't gonna happen with me, and I asked her nicely to just drop it. She said she, "Wasn't gonna get talked to like that" and stormed out. When Dr. Daniel came in he seemed a bit uptight... and began to explain why I should get dilated. I told him why I wasn't and that I was supposed to be just getting a new prescription. He seemed a bit chapped and then he walked out. I got the impression that they don't like being told "no". I know the reasons for the need to get dilated, but I just wasn't able to do that TODAY. They did send in a nice lady, Hailey, to examine my eyes and she was friendly and professional.. but I won't be going back there.
