I love this place. Have been going there for my eyecare needs for several years, both for eye exams and for eyeglasses / contacts. They've always been super helpful, easy to work with, as well as great when it comes to warranty work. Love the doctor on duty - he's performed every exam I've had and is not only very professional but also knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you may have. Occasionally this store may be super busy, but when someone greets you to let you know you'll be taken care of next or that there is someone in front of you, you know they will get to you as soon as they are through with the customer ahead of you. Setup an eye exam for my daughter and I, at no point during the online appointment scheduling did it say they were only doing eye exams for people who were going to buy their glasses from them. Get to the location, start filling out paperwork, as soon as I tell them we're not going to buy our glasses through them they decide to tell us that key piece of information. Not sure if they're incompetent or someone forgot to update their website, but all around crap behavior. Will definitely not be returning. read more

General Manager is a star! I went in for the first time in two years (I bought enough contacts to last me until then) and the optometrist on duty immediately began talking down to me about eye health before she ever started the exam! She elected to up my prescription and add correction for my astigmatism even though I could see fine when I came in.. and could read fine print easily as well. Oddly, she suggested that I get some reading glasses, even though I read the little card fine. The result was me being unable to read up close anymore and mixed results at a distance. I was furious! HOWEVER.. I reached out to Eyeglass World and they put me in touch with Joshua Granade, the GM, and he went to great lengths to make it right. He explained that the issue was with the base curve of the new lenses, agreed that we didn't need to reinvent the wheel, ordered new lenses for me with the correct base curve at no cost to me even though they actually cost more than the previous lenses I had just gotten, and was super patient the whole time! Wonderful man! Completely saved the day! Can't say enough good things about him! read more

Great service! I never wore glasses before other than readers. My eyes had enough and needed real glasses. I have now had my glasses for one month. I realized something wasn't right, as looking at my mailbox numbers from 75 to 100 feet away the numbers were blurry. I took my glasses off and I could read the numbers. Maybe it was just me.. Nope... I stopped back into the eyeglass world to make sure my prescription was correct or if my vision changed. The store was packed with people, but everyone there kept assuring me and other guests will be taken care of quickly. The person who works in the room that makes the lenses re-checked my prescription and stated that everything was perfect. He marked my glasses with dots and had Alaina follow up with me. She noticed that I wear my glasses and said they need to adjusted closer to my face. "The issue I was having was major sun glare, blurry distant issues and when I looked left while driving, it was distorted." Alaina made adjustments to my nose piece and said to try it for a week to see if it helps. OMG!!! What a miracle that she performed! All my silly issues went away! Thank you Alaina for going the extra mile to help me get adjusted to my new glasses! I would have never thought that bringing my glasses into my face like they are meant to be worn would have made a difference. Thank you Eyeglass World for being so helpful!! I went in after being with one of their competitors for several years .They got me in the next day for an eye exam and new lenses for my Oakleys.They are great to work with, all the staff I dealt with were professionals. They made sure I was taken care of from eye exam to my glasses getting in and fitted with the new lenses. Can't say enough about the staff all are great to deal with . read more

Do not waste your time. Waited almost 2 hours after arriving for my 11am appointment to see the eye doctor. Was charged for my appointment, then received a call later and was charged another $50. To my military folks, they do NOT take tricare whether you're active duty or reserved (select or prime). I do not recommend coming to this location. Stick with getting your exams done on post or a different location. read more

I bought glasses from here 3 yrs ago. Came in today to ask information (measurements) about the glasses I paid over $500 for and was told they couldn't give me that, for they could be held liable if I used that information for a purchase from someone else if the numbers were incorrect. The staff were nice, but their refusing to give me information on a pair of glasses I purchased from them ( in their records) will prevent my future patronage or recommendation. I have been going here for the last two years for my eye exams! I found out at my last visit that they price-match, so my contact lenses that were almost $15 cheaper elsewhere can be ordered here for the same price!! The doctor isn't much of a talker, but that's ok, he's thorough with the exam and efficient! I've been wearing corrective lenses for over 2 decades, so I really just want a quick exam and new prescription, no extras needed for me! read more

As transplants from the west coast, one of the things I've struggled with in GA is the general lack of good customer service. This seems to stretch across most of the retail sector here, but Eyeglass World seems to be the exception. All five of us rolled in on a Saturday morning, and left two hours later having done five vision exams and ordered three pairs of glasses. We were back the following Saturday and picked them all up. Two of the pairs required quite a bit of manipulation to make them fit correctly, and we even ended up coming back in again another week later to try to fix the fit. During both of the fittings the staff never seemed annoyed or bothered that they had to spend so much time to get our glasses right. They were cheery and friendly through it all. This is now my go-to for my glasses needs. read more

As usual, you get what you pay for. I bought glasses from the nearby competitor. They turned the bridge of my nose black if I had moisturizer on my face. They had no designer brands and would not help me because a year had passed. They scratched very easily even though I paid more for scratch-proof. So, I went to Eyeglass World. They had loads of designer glasses, and the pair I bought, with all the upgrades except transitions, cost over $800. However, they are worth it. Very impressive quality and the last pair cost over $500 for lousy quality. The staff were extremely nice and did not require a new eye test because I brought in the results from their competitor. So, I highly recommend Eyeglass World. The difference between designer glasses and unknown brands is worth the extra cost. read more

The staff are extremely nice but they do not have as many selections as they used to have. They used to have the glasses in some sort of order. However no they are all mixed up and messy. The on duty Optometrist is condescending and arrogant. A shame because the rest of the store staff were great, unlike him. I'll never go back because of his unprofessional attitude. First impressions are everything. read more
