I don't know much about painting but the two gentlemen working helped me get a quart of paint that matched perfectly with the wall paint in my house. This is my all-time favorite Paint Store. I've been shopping here since we moved back to Orange in 2001. Since then I've painted every room of my house a few times, as well as other painting projects for friends and family. This is where I go for top-quality paint and customer service. Just last month I bought a vintage piece of oak furniture that needed a facelift so decided to paint it white. My husband told me paint wouldn't stick to the stained wood. So off I went to Orange Paint Store and presented my problem. From behind the counter Miguel produced a type of paint designed specifically for renovating older kitchen cabinets and other stained wood surfaces. Then he helped me decide on a color and find the correct sandpaper and paint rollers to use. Long story short, my new furniture looks terrific. Just went into Orange Paint Store today for the first time. Was pleasantly surprised with all the colors they had. Picked out a color and a few other things and was on my way. I was very happy with the customer service at this paint place the guy was very helpful and had a nice attitude can't say that very much anymore. Just finished painting a 12x12 bedroom with one gallon turned out real nice and clean looking. This is the best house paint store ever. I am very OCD about paint colors and quality and will not go anywhere else. I mix my own colors then take a sample to Orange Paint Store to have the owner match it. Most paint stores mix the paint colors from a computer and the worker cannot adjust the mix without getting flustered if then. At Orange Paint Store, the owner is so knowledgeable about colors that I am humbled every time. Last week he advised that blues really come out much stronger than even a sample painted on the wall will indicate and advised adding particular colors to get the grayish tone I wanted. Sure enough, it was much bolder than anticipated but I liked the recommended mix. They only sell Benjamin Moore paints which go on like butter. Get the Regal - costs more but worth it. During my first visit, I experienced the best customer service where I was greeted as soon as I walked in and I was helped in matter of seconds.
