We spent a few weeks shopping around big box retailers and custom door store recommendations online and I couldn't believe how difficult it was to get straightforward answers (estimated time lines, door material options, and final cost). The prices purchasing through Ganahl were definitely the most reasonable. Kai provided excellent customer service from beginning to end. He was knowledgeable, provided good recommendations, and quick to respond to any questions I had. When a minor hiccup occurred (on the manufacture side) Kai was quick to take action and make things right. We were initially surprised when told it would take over 3 months (!) until it would arrive, with an estimated date of August 2. We were later advised "Oh, that's not a promise date, just an estimate," and it is now expected August 4. As of today, we are advised that the door will be in on August 24. Naturally, their credibility is now very low to zero from my perspective, and nobody is willing to take accountability and offer any kind of compensation for this Meshuggas. (Also, our project is on hold, as this cannot be completed without the new front door). In summary, if you are interested in a door - whether a plain door or a very ornate door - which will come......eh.....sometime, maybe in a few weeks, maybe a few months, a few years...if ever - and you like purchasing from a business which as of late displays a lack of accountability, inconsistency, and generally poor business practices, Ganahl may be of interest to you. However, if you prefer a business which makes decisions based on good customer service, respect, accountability, I recommend to give your business to one of their competitors in your area. I notice there are some strong reviews posted from years past, but per my very recent experience, it seems likely they are heading in a downward direction.

First of all, their prices aren't the best. I could have saved $130 on my faucet and over $70 for each toilet if I had bought them online (this is including the shipping costs). But, I wanted to support my local business so I didn't buy the items online. I severely regret this. Second, their customer service is lacking. I was told I would get a call from them the following Monday to update the status of order (the faucet needed to be shipping from another site). I did not get a call Monday or Tuesday... I finally called them on Wednesday. No apologies for the lack of promised communication. I was told my faucet hadn't arrived and to expect a call on Friday. Again, no phone call on Friday. I was finally called on Monday and told to come pick my faucet up. Third, I needed to schedule the delivery of the toilets. I wanted to coordinate the delivery with the time my plumber was scheduled to arrive for the installation. The showroom manager (Brian?) was extremely unhelpful - bordering on rude - in assisting me in this. I am very close to canceling my order and buying my items online instead. (I probably will do this tomorrow as it's after 5pm right now and they are closed). The only reason I gave them 2 stars (instead of 1 star) is that they did have a good selection. Maybe it might be worth going to look at their showroom, then purchase your choices online... But, I would not recommend them at all!!!!! Addendum: While a terrible experience resulted in my cancellation of my order, I must give them some credit. They were very professional and helpful with the refunding of my purchase. The warehouse manager called me personally and apologized and asked if there was anything they could do to rectify the situation. Perhaps I should increase them up to 3 stars... She suggested instead that we ask them to replace it for free (even though long out of warranty) since they are a large distributor of Delta products. This is the condition your delivery guys left my neighbors hay storage. His bales are supposed to…read morego in the tall storage just to the left.that rubbermaid is empty and unlocked. Your drivers not only put the bales in the wrong storage, but they completely destroyed it making this area unsafe for horses walking by. And to add to that, they took the flakes that he had seperated for breakfast and lunch, that the facility feeds, and tossed them in the barn aisle, along with his cardboard dividers that could have blown into the riding arena right next door. Frankly i am appalled. My horse is right across from this mess. Stuff like this will cause horses to spook in an already tight spaced area. His smaller rubbermaid was not in this condition this morning. I dont think i have ever left a yelp review. But i happen to know that it has been discussed where his hay delivery is supposed to go. I myself ha e even shown a driver in the past where it goes. I know this horse owner has communicated to you where it goes. This is unacceptable.
