This lawn care specialist is really terrific. We own a home in Waxahachie, but because of work availability we live and work in southern California. We had been using a company for about 6 or 7 years but after seeing our yard a year or so ago, we decided we needed to find another company. We were referred to Ronnie at Vista Care and because this referral is very reliable we called them up. Ronnie and Ami are very customer service which nowadays, you really don't find that often. The one thing Ronnie will not do is "up sale" his services. He assessed visually what needed to be done, asked what our concerns were and it was our choice as to what we decided was most necessary. We asked him to take before photos so we could determine what we most wanted to do which he did. He offers weekly mows; which by the way if you feel you want to skip a week just let them know the day prior. No hassles! We currently are doing weekly mows, fertilization and weed control 7 times a year, shrub and tree trimming, aeration and grub worm applications. If we feel the number of times need to be changed, Ronnie has no problem. Since we really want to have a healthy, thick and good healthy appearance of the turf we are currently being aggressive. If you ever need to reach Ronnie, he answers his "own" phone and returns email immediately to answer any questions. In a few months I will ask him to take photos again to see how our lawn is progressing. I really feel good about this company and the people who work for him. Give them a try! read more

I've been a VistaTurf customer for a little over a year now. We built our house in 2012 and are first time owners. Initially caring for the yard was a passion project, but I was simply overwhelmed juggling it with my sporadic work schedule. Bringing in VistaTurf was the best decision. Not only is their service top notch, having them care for our lawn has added much needed free time to spend with my family. We first hired Earthtones when we moved into our home. It is an acre lot with a great deal of landscaping. The company we initially hired cancelled on the day they were scheduled to mow, saying they were unable to service our area any longer. I found Earthtones online and decided to give then a try. I was pleased with the crew's work mowing so after a few weeks I called and asked for a quote to clean up the over grown landscaping. Ronnie came out quickly and gave me a fair quote. The property had been neglected for some time and required two crews (6-7 men) working for more than on 10 hours to get it cleaned up and trimmed. The end result was transformative! The guys showed up on time and worked extremely hard to get the property looking its best. We have been so impressed with Earthones and happy that other company opted not to come out. These are the services that I love about Earthtones: They have a GREAT website; you can communicate with them anytime via email, and they get back to you right away; they use a real edger, so the edges are perfect; they pick up dog poop (even though they've had a few laughs at me about this) for an extra charge (another service in Waxahachie had never heard of doing this and thought the only option was to mow over it); and they charge the service to my credit card and email me an invoice immediately. Earthtones has always been here on the day they promised and done the work as agreed. They are always pleasant and are available in a very timely manner. I have a HUGE back yard that took me several hours to mow with my push mower. I called around and emailed several companies, and out of the few that actually responded Earthtones was the best priced and most accommodating to the service I was looking for. I enjoy yard work and mowing, so I just wanted the back yard done every other week. Earthtones gladly accepted and gave me a great price. The crew that comes is fast and thorough. They work around my 2 dogs, move my trampoline, and even pick up construction trash that has blown into my back yard. To top it off the actual cut of my back yard is fabulous, and it looks like it would if it were there own back yard. Ronnie at Earthtones is great and always quick to respond. While on patrol, I would pass by several businesses and homes with awesome looking lawns, I was jealous that mine didn't look that way. At every lawn, I would see a yard sign with VistaTurf printed on it. I decided to give them a call and see what they could do for my lawn. I am glad I went with VistaTurf! I am a new customer and have only had one treatment done to my lawn. With that one treatment I can already see a difference in my yard. I have had a big issue with weeds in my lawn and with their work, those weeds have disappeared almost overnight! We LOVE vista Turf. They take care of my fertilization and weed control and honestly, every neighbor in the hood is jealous of our yard. They think I slave over the thing day and night but nope - I just let Vista Turf do their thing. We once went out of town over a long weekend and had experienced a ton of rain (remember May 2015?) and I asked them to conduct a one-time mowing and once again, they exceeded expectations. Five years ago we purchased a home that had been vacant for two years. The lawn was solid weeds with very little of the original Bermuda grass spread throughout. For 2 1/2 years I literally weeded the tough, huge weeds and sprayed myself. While this was a tremendous improvement, I was really tired of constantly weeding grass! We have been using Vista Turf for several years now and our grass is a beautiful carpet of Bermuda and weed free. Good service. A couple times we were supposed to get our lawn mowed but it ended up not happening on that day. The lawn looks great. Had flowers planted but ended up planted on the wrong side of the front pillers. I liked the price of the flowers so can't complain too much. When I first setup service, I called about the representative that came by and they didn't know who he was...but he was a Vista Turf Rep. Some organizational things that need to be tuned. Last call I made was about ordering flowers and the ladies were very helpful and sweet. Thank you. The job gets done and it does look pretty nice. read more

First off, I was utterly amazed at how fast they responded to our call for an estimate on cleaning out our various flowerbeds and landscaped areas for fall. It was the same day! No one ever gets to your house that fast! Then, he did a thorough walk around our house, telling us what could and should be done, and what plants were better off being left alone. Then, to put icing on the cake, they were able to schedule us for the very next day, arrived when they said they would, and took about as long as they said they would. No muss, no fuss. Good customer service. I was emailing back and forth with a gentleman there who was so patient and really answered all of 'y questions. He made sure that I knew exactly what I was paying for. Never once was he "pushy" or a "salesman." Exactly the kind of service I like! Their fertilization program is great and affordable. I moved out to Midlothian in 2013 and needed someone to take care of my yard for me because my husband had passed and I wasn't able to do it. One of my new neighbors told me about them. I am so glad they did. They not only mow I also have them trim my shrubs and trees. Every year I have them do my mulch. They have even planted flowers for me. We've been very happy with this service. We have an acre of land and they maintain it very well. When we had an issue with the maintenance of the area outside of our fence, it was quickly resolved. I would highly recommend them to my neighbors. Our grass is so green and the trees are still alive! I have always fertilized my own yard, but was never able to get rid of all the weeds or keep my yard as green as it is with their service. Priced reasonably. Applicator is thorough and uniform in fertilizing my yard. Condition of grass has improved after first application. Weed control is effective. I am a senior citizen without a fancy irrigation system. Vista Turf pays attention to weather forecast and tries to apply fertilizer and weed control prior to natural rainfall which keeps me from dragging hoses over my big yard. We had a real problem child yard, Earthtones has worked with us for 6 years. This year finally something clicked and the yard is beautiful, it's hard to grow grass on a rock, we stuck with them and it finally worked. A friend recommended using Vista Turf. Had them clean out all of my flower beds this Spring. They did an amazing job. Very professional and they left the yard spotless. I have now started using them for weekly lawn mowing. I am very pleased. If they are not able to come on their scheduled day I will get an email letting me know.
