This nice establishment is a bit hidden inside the downtown Alpharetta area. If you are familiar with that area, parking can be a bit of a challenge. We were lucky to go on a slow weekday early afternoon and were able to find street parking around the corner from the street the business is on. They have a nice simple menu, but not a lot of options food wise if you are a vegan. I did get the power panini without the mozzarella and the vitality wrap. Both were very good, especially the wrap. I got the detoxifier juice and a matcha with almond milk... both very good and recommend. The folks working there were very patient and provided great service. I love this kind of food so I was excited to try it. The location is clean and located in a lively area. Expect to park in the parking deck down the hill if you don't see street parking. I ordered the Chimichurri Steak Wrap and the Rehydrate Juice. I didn't ask for it "to go" but that's how it was brought to me, so I don't know if that's normal or not. I would have preferred to be asked because they are wasting plastic if someone is going to eat there. The juice has good flavor but it wasn't very cold. I do prefer it more chilled. My boyfriend & I recently visited this smoothie shop and ordered a smoothie and cappuccino with an extra shot it didn't taste anything like coffee and I was very unsatisfied. I brought this to the cashier's attention and asked for a refund and was told by the manager in a nasty and rude tone to go to a real coffee shop next door. They offered to make us something else and we told them if we could have an expresso shot, they then proceeded to go to the back and hide until we left. This is unacceptable behavior and not how a customer should be treated. I've never been treated so horribly by anyone in a professional setting. We will not be returning. read more

I've been here sooooo many times! Everything they make is fresh and delicious though it comes with a price. Prices are a little higher than usual but the bowls, smoothies, paninis etc are extremely enjoyable! This time I had the Green Glow Bowl which includes hot grilled chicken, avocado, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, radishes, cucumber, whole grains, feta and mint. It was so good and filling! We also tried the bowl of the month which was the Apple Pie Bowl. It tasted like a dessert and the Tropical Paradise smoothie was good yet not too sweet. Every time I come here I like to order something new I haven't tried before. I've never been disappointed and recommend trying if you've never been here before. Well, my wife and I tried this place out for this first time this evening. We wanted something light, but also healthy to eat for dinner. Came across this business on Yelp, so we decided to try it out! I want to start this review by talking about customer service. This is where majority of this three star experience came from. We walked in and walked up close to the counter to read the menu. The young girl behind the counter just stared at us without saying anything (not that she had to or anything). When we finally decided what we wanted, we stepped up closer to the cash register and she just stared at us again waiting for us to tell her what we wanted... I think the only word that she said the whole time was, "anything else?" When we finished ordering, she finalized our order and the credit card machine turned on. Again, she didn't say anything... I mean we obviously put two and two together and understood that we needed to pay, but what an awkward first experience we just had. As soon as the credit card machine finalized our order, she walked back into the kitchen... I kid you not... my wife and I both looked at each other like, "is something wrong?... did we do something?" If there is one thing I've learned while working in the restaurant industry for 7 years, it's providing good customer service from the moment a customer(s) walks in your front door. You can have the best tasting food, but if have bad customer service it can ruin the entire experience which then leads to people not returning ever again. Maybe the girl was having a bad day or just didn't want to work that day. Not sure. Either way, we just let it roll at the time. When our bowl and smoothie came out, we walked over to the green space to enjoy them. I ordered their Nutty açaí bowl and she ordered their Tropical Paradise smoothie. I really enjoyed the Nutty bowl! It was cold and refreshing as should be expected with lots of delicious flavor! The peanut butter was not overpowering and blended well with everything else that was mixed in! I really enjoyed the almonds and granola as well. Both ingredients gave the açaí a nice soft and crunchy texture. I would definitely return for this bowl alone! As for my wife's smoothie though... unfortunately, it lacked much taste... maybe the right amount of ingredients were not blended together, but it tasted watered down and fruitless(?). We could taste a hint of banana and coconut milk, but that was about it. According to the ingredients, there is mango juice, pineapples and strawberries blended in so we were expecting it to taste like, well, paradise. The drink looked REALLY good, but the taste didn't match its appearance. Like I said, maybe it was just made wrong(?) Either way, it didn't taste like it was worth $7. That price point is more than a drink at Tropical Smoothie Cafe... I hope that this review doesn't sound like I'm dogging the business, because I'm not. I do hope that the owners or franchisee can take this as a critique to work on fine tuning their quality control and customer service experience. We will try this place again in maybe a couple weeks and order the Tropical Paradise smoothie to see if we had just got a bad batch the first time. read more

Read the poor reviews on Google and you'll see that it's due to the manager/owner's aura and demeanor. She should NOT be working in customer service whatsoever. Since the pandemic I've supported this Alpharetta business almost every week. I discovered and adored açaí bowls because of them and easily have spent in the thousands for my large family. Last weekend we placed an accidental double order on Door Dash between my husband and myself, and she was snarky then about the order and couldn't support cancelling one of them because they were made through Door Dash - fine. Today, I call on Mother's Day to ask for strawberries on top of the bowls because the 'Extra Fruit' option from Door Dash doesn't allow me to write in which fruit, and Ms. Snarky answers the phone. I let her know it was the double order caller from last weekend and she proceeds to say you paid and your got your food, right? Yes, Ms. Snarky, just as I said - I paid and got food that melted and tossed because cut fruit doesn't freeze well for second day deliciousness AND guess what, you got your money too. One weekend of a misplaced order and you couldn't accommodate my call with an, oh yes, I remember you... did you enjoy - I see you always order here and get kids bowls - I'll put an extra one in for the kiddos. What can I help you with today? Instead, you proceed to tell me you're working on Mother's Day - well I was trying to give you business on Mother's Day, but I refuse to give your establishment our business ever again. I came in with my brother today and got a Vitality bowl no Strawberries on top but strawberries inside were fine and extra of all the other toppings as in granola, Goji berries, honey, bananas. Paid $36 and when we got to our destination and looked at our food there was only the irregular amount of bananas and Goji berries a small amount of honey. I really love the vitality bowl. It is super yummy. I've tried other bowls, but I keep coming back to the namesake. I've also tried the salami panini, but I think that's been taken off the menu. My only complaint are the store hours. They simply do not open up early enough. 9am on a weekday means I can't stop and pick one up before work. I wanted a bowl after my workout on a Sunday, but they didn't even open until 10am. By 10am I am usually planning what I am having for lunch, so I don't eat here as often as I'd like. read more

The area is wonderful and it is a short walk from parking if street options are full. Vitality Bowl is clean and it has a decent selection. Bowl Drawbacks: The topping-to-acai portions are off and you run out of toppings rather quickly, leaving a giant bowl of acai to finish by itself. They also cut the mixture with apple juice to reduce cost, meaning you aren't getting as much nutritional value. Hey look I love my self a vitally bowl and I'm a frequent customer. But today was just ridiculous. I payed for extra honey, and there was was no honey in my bowl. I accidentally ordered almonds on it and before they made it told them I didn't want any almonds... they did a good job by not adding almonds...BUT CHARGED ME FOR THE DANG ALMONDS. So now I'm out $1.50 with no honey and imaginary almonds that haunt my bank account. And to top it off THERE WAS BANANAS. I'm my dragon bowl? Bananas? Cmon now. Love love love. My minis love playing outside and then coming in here for a fresh healthy treat. I wish I remembered the awesome young man's name.. mocha complexion guy, young, slim, maybe Leo? He's super nice and was attentive gave us a detailed description of every single recipe listed (thankfully there was no line) and told us his faves when we needed suggestions. With allergies being a concern he helped. Then, he gave special attention to the little ones and got them a blend perfect for their tastes. While we were eating a man came in with his soon and was ordering for his wife who was home. He was having a hard go trying to figure out what to get and what she'd like.
