While I was waiting one of the works asked if it was an allergy to bananas. I said no I'm just not a fan of them in my açaí bowls. After some time I got my order with bananas. I let them know and they said they can remake it. I don't have time as I already waited 15mins. I just scrapped the banana off. But it just wasted food especially in this economy! There is an ipad/kiosk at the front to place your order and the service staff are in the back making the orders, so there wasnt much of a prescence or vibe. The smoothies are pretty pricey, but a decent size! We ordered the Tropical and Acai smoothies. We thought they were a little watery/liquidy for our liking. Came here for a quick acai bowl after hot yoga! I got a delicious, refreshing custom bowl with blue bliss and the classic vitality blend. It was pretty good. I would say this is a bit expensive and I hate how they limit you on how many toppings you can pick. I would prefer to go to Palmetto's but it's a good alternative if you aren't willing to drive. I can't believe I haven't tried their acai bowl until most recently and the vitality bowl was perfect. The base of the acai bowl isn't too sour and it was perfectly balanced. The small was a good size for me but the medium is a better value as you get much more. The service here was always very friendly. This place is honestly subpar for me, but they are one of the few options in the SJ area. + Dragon Smoothie: SO MUCH SEEDS. It was unbearable. It was not smooth at all and I would end up with a mouthful of seeds after every sip. The flavor is overall decent, but not worth the bitter crunchy inconvenience. + For acai bowls, I usually get the Super Food Bowl of the Immunity Bowl. They really don't skimp out on the toppings! I came here on two occasions due to having my birthday discounts. I ordered online during both times. It was easy and hassle free, so I definitely recommend ordering online first. The parking lot itself is fairly large, but it is hard to find parking, especially during peak hours, since there's so many restaurants in the area and it's located near busy streets. The inside of the restaurant is fairly small, but there are a few tables both inside and outside that you can sit down in. It's clean, and there are restrooms available for their customers. For the acai bowls, I ordered the Dessert and V8tality Bowl. The Dessert Bowl had strawberries, bananas, blueberries, coconut and chocolate shavings, and the acai itself. Since I like sweets, I really liked this combination. I give it an 8/10. For the Vitality Bowl, I ordered a larger size, so it had more bananas and strawberries in it. Besides that, it had granola, goji berries, and the acai. It was a bit more tart and sour, so it wasn't my favorite, but I would recommend for those of you that like that type of flavor. I've always been a huge fan of "Vitality Bowls" ever since they first opened their first location in the Bay Area back in the early 2010's. Their focus emphasizes more on "health" compared to other smoothie shops such as "Jamba Juice" that has more sugars in their products. The location I am focusing on is their East Brokaw Road in San Jose, CA. This particular location is in a very busy retail area so parking could be difficult to find. During my visit which was on 3/6/2021 at around 3:30pm, the safety guidelines were strictly enforced. All customers were required to wear a face covering upon entry and the business was allowing only one customer at a time. The inside of this location is small to begin with so it just doesn't offer a lot of room to gather around in a large group. As people know, Vitality Bowls focuses on their smoothies, juices, breakfast bowls, coffees, and acai bowls. But they also have a nice selection of salads, soups, and panini sandwiches. During my visit, I ordered their "Temptation" smoothie which uses organic acai, coconut milk, strawberries, bananas, organic cacao, and dark chocolate. It's a perfect blend of ingredients that is uniquely different from the more fruit-inspired smoothies. As I mentioned, the enforced social distancing assured of a safe experience and the employees were assuring that everything runs as smooth as possible. From the time I was ready to order to when my smoothie was ready took only about 6 minutes. And your order can be expedited with mobile ordering through the Vitality Bowls app which also earns you points and discounts towards a future purchase. With all of this combined with excellent service, I am giving the E. Brokaw Road "Vitality Bowls" a solid four star rating. read more

This review was for two separate days we went in April -- once was a weekday, and once was on a weekend one hour before closing. When we ordered at the counter, the employee looked extremely irritated and told us our order would take at least 40 minutes to make. Really? They actually made the order in about 15-20 minutes but two separate times to be told the same thing--were they trying to get rid of us? Store doesn't close for another hour. Smoothies - I can't remember what we ordered because both times, we were taken aback by how warm and watery the smoothies were. We had to bring them home, stick them in the freezer, and wait for them to be chilled. I get that the ingredients are probably really fresh, but then our food tastes more like fruit soup rather than a smoothie. Even after being chilled, the drinks were just ok. Acai bowl was slightly colder but didn't have much flavor. RawASF does this much better and for a less expensive price. read more

Staff was okay and the service was fast. The one issue is the price. Although the bowl is big and delicious with sweets, the bowl is like 17$ lol. You can't justify that for what you're getting but it does taste good. The other smoothies and ice cream they offer are cheaper and also good and have probably a better value than the bowls. They have A LOT of choices here if you like variety and They have great portions! There is a medium and large size to choose from. Superfood bowl: got it in a size medium and that was enough for me to be full! I also added coconut shavings to it. I typically like cocoa granola but this bowl already had cocoa nibs in it so I didn't make further additions. I did find that it tasted different size I prefer the coca granola to be mixed in vs just have cocoa nibs sprinkled on the top. Vitality bowl: got that in a size large and was very filling. Really good with the almond butter, but wish there was more of it or just thicker almond butter since I find that it adds a richness to the bowl.
