Corn Latte, 16 oz. and Iced Obsidian Hojicha Latte, 16 oz. with boba

Been eyeing this place for a while now, so I'm so glad I finally got to try it! I was particularly eyeing the corn latte, and was hoping they could make it with matcha instead of coffee but they couldn't :( I still enjoyed the coffee tho because it was sweet and creamy (even with 25% sweetness!). And it didn't make my heart jittery! My bf got the obsidian hojicha latte and it was very very strong! I would get this again for sure. The boba was also chewy and yummy. The strawberry matcha was good too but a little too sweet for me even with 25% sugar. Matcha taste was strong tho! They have very limited seating inside, but I was lucky enough to get a table. They have wifi so I was able to get some work done there :)

Been here a couple times as they consistently launch new cream tops that sound quite appealing. Most recently I tried the mango matcha latte. Mango cream top tasted exactly like the fruit, no artificial flavor but mixed into matcha was just okay. Matcha definitely overpowers the mango. I definitely prefer their strawberry matcha over the mango. Their drinks are pretty good quality, solid 4/5 everytime. You order through the kiosk so there's not much customer service/ interaction. Knocked off a star because of the lack of customer service. This happened twice but our drinks were done but they didn't call out a name, they just leave it at the pick up area. No text confirmation either so not sure how we are supposed to know our drink was ready or if we are expected to check the label of each drink that was coming out... There's retail parking at the bottom floor of apartment complex. Like 2 min walk.

I've been wanting to try Haiku Teahouse for a while, so I stopped by on a Friday afternoon. I parked in the parking garage which was mostly empty. There was no line and my drink came out quick. There were a few tables inside, but all of them were taken by people with laptops working. It's a pretty small place with limited seating so I don't think I'd want to bring a laptop and work here. I got the guava matcha latte from their seasonal menu. I really liked the guava cream top, it was a good combination of sweet and tart. The matcha itself was okay but a little chalky. If I came back I probably wouldn't get a matcha, but they have a lot of other drinks that looked good.

I love how Haiku Teahouse gets creative with their drinks. The cafe itself is well kept the workers are good about making their drinks maintaining consistent each time. The staff were also friendly! There's plenty of seating for anyone to chill, but it can get pretty loud during peak hours. I tried their mango matcha latte and could taste the refreshing mango flavor without the artificialness. The matcha einspanner was super velvety with a strong matcha flavor. I love the way it was whipped for that extra creaminess. A nice bonus is not charging extra for oat milk... looks like most of us are lactose intolerant! I'd definitely recommend this place. I love supporting small businesses!

Haiku Teahouse had really good drinks, and I definitely recommend checking this place out. It's a small coffee and boba shop with a cute vibe and cozy atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, and the drinks came out in a timely manner. The only negative thing I noticed was that they charge extra for whole milk, but not for oat milk or lactose-free milk. I was honestly surprised because most boba or coffee shops usually do it the other way around and charge for the alternative milk options instead. I thought that was funny and something new to learn! Overall, I still highly recommend trying this place out.

I recently discovered and fell in love with their strawberry matcha latte. I just went two days in a row just for this drink. I can't speak for the other drinks because I've only gotten the matcha lattes here. There usually aren't too many people, so the line moves fast and drinks come out pretty fast. Normally pretty chill. I'll definitely be coming back for this.

Very solid matcha that's really a 4.5 in my books! Located across the street from the SJ flea market entrance with parking garages next to it. Ordered my drinks ahead of time and was ready earlier than estimated. I would comeback here for the guava matcha with li hing mui because I haven't came across a matcha spot that uses li hing mui.

I ordered the: Banana Hojicha Latte Guava Hojicha Latte banana hojicha latte was more on the sweeter side but even then it was just right sweet. I enjoyed the drink fully and didnt feel bloated Guava hojicha latte was actually super enjoyable. I liked both flavors as they melted together well. These were the best hojicha lattes I've had. Both drinks were strong. I prefered the Guava syrup more than the banana cream top. Banana is very versatile and can be strong or super light depending on how it was made but it worked well with hojicha.

The matcha here is delicious, we ordered their Biscoff and Banana cream matcha lattes and I would say that the matcha flavor in their drinks were much stronger than the cream The interior is nice and spacious that offers indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered on an iPad but their service was still welcoming when we walked in

After trying this place, I am now a fan of corn lattes. The drink that they serve was creamy and delicious. And the little extra touch of an ice cream piece was great. The service was friendly and fast. And the ambience had really fun decor: lots of capybaras. The best way to get in to find the parking lot for this place is to make a left or a right at Flea Market Place from Berryessa Road. And the entrance parking lot will be on the first left or right at the side of the complex.

I've been to Haiku Teahouse many times for their banana matcha and poison oak boba. The poison oak boba isn't available anymore, which is a shame. There's a parking structure nearby. The inside is small with a few tables and the atmosphere is cozy. Free WiFi is also available. You can order with the cashier or kiosk. The staff were knowledgeable about the drinks. I got the Matcha Mango Cream Top with Honey Boba. It tasted sweet, salty, and refreshing. The matcha was creamy and strong. The drink blended together well. The honey boba was soft and chewy.

Corn Einspanner & Hojicha Cookie Butter Cream Top

My friend and I finally made it to Haiku Teahouse, a spot we've been eyeing on TikTok for a long time, and we drove 40 minutes to get there. It's been on our list for so long, and it did not disappoint. I usually try drinks at normal sweetness when visiting a new place to see if it's too sweet, but this time I went with less sweet, and it was just perfect. Even with less sweetness, it wasn't too sugary, and it hit the right balance for me. We got the Hojicha Cookie Butter Cream Top and the Corn Einspanner. The Hojicha drink was smooth, rich, and delicious, especially at less sweetness. The Corn Einspanner was really different. I've always been curious about corn drinks but hesitant to try them. My friend, who loves corn drinks because of his ethnic background, really enjoyed it and could tell it was made fresh. For me, it was an interesting flavor, not my usual preference, but it was a good first-time try. The café itself is clean with great ambiance, and the staff were really nice and took their time carefully making our drinks. Overall, it was a fun and satisfying experience, and I'd definitely come back to try more of their creative drinks.

strong matcha that wasn't too sweet (I did get the second level of sugar). Got a guava matcha. The drink was very creamy and thick. I did find that the guava flavor got a little bit lost as the drink got more mixed. But would drink this again The guava jasmine tea had less guava flavor :(. But the tea was very floral and pleasant

They WILL talk to their coworkers sometimes. You can't expect them to work silently for like a 4 hour shift. There WILL be new workers at this place. Some will take longer than others to learn how things work at this Starbucks. Some will have a hard time remembering how to make drinks! It's a lot to remember! some WILL be inexperienced with the business and get better as time goes on. It's all part of learning guys. Y'all need to chill a little bit, customer service isn't easy too. The school is always taking new people, so there are new workers like every semester. There are over 30k students that go to this school. It is going to be PACKED. If you have to be somewhere in 20 minutes then skip the coffee and go to class or go to work! I also recommend online ordering off of Tapingo or boost or whatever they use now so that when you're walking to Starbucks or you're in the last 10 minutes of class then your drink will be made *hopefully* by the time you get there. It's a student run business, don't expect them to be perfect or equally on top of things like your neighborhood starbucks. If you think you can do better, then by all means apply for the job. It's a strenuous job and unfortunately, not everybody can afford housing and tuition and the like so they have to find and take any job available. From my experiences, I give it 4 stars because the staff is friendly and nice. They get my drinks right too. They remake it when I don't like it, which isn't very often. The only thing I dock a star for is time just because I have been one of those students that waited 30-40 minutes for my drink. Usually it is a 20-30 minute wait. Again though, I plan my time accordingly and I get it when I have time to spare to wait for my drink. I recommend coming at night though, it is a lot more relaxed like some other reviewers said. The seating is comfortable, unfortunate that it is limited and throughout the day every space is taken, but what can you do? It's a college campus.

I told the barista that my matcha had no brown sugar in it and she told me that the banana bread matcha only had brown sugar in the cold foam. She kept insisting that there was no brown sugar in the matcha and she gave me classic instead. I had a very upsetting experience at this location. Barista don't take accountability.
