My favorite is the strawberry mylk and the açaí bowl! I tried the soup of the day a few times! Always so fresh and delicious! The service is always friendly. It's a small juice shop with few tables outside. The have 2 refrigerators with ready made juices to choose from. They offer smoothies and detox packages.

Whenever I need to take a break from caffeine or do a full body detox Juice on the Square is my first stop. A little pricey for the detox drinks but the quality of the ingredients used is worth the splurge. The cleanses are amazing, I've had great physical results each time I've done them. I often recommend the cleanses to friends and family whenever they need a detox or body reset.

Wow, I'm so glad we stumbled upon Juice On The Square by accident! We were on our way up the coast and I wanted an Acai Bowl and this was the perfect location - close to both the freeway and to Trader Joe's which was on our next stop! My original thoughts about this place before I tried it was that 1) there aren't any other variations other than the one bowl they make (it would be nice to have options) and 2) it's a little bit on the pricer side, but those thoughts went completely out the window after trying it out. Juice On The Square is located in such a cute little plaza. It seems that parking can be a little hectic since it's a pretty small lot, but the lot is crowded thanks to the restaurants here. For Juice On The Square, they don't have indoor seating, but they have a couple outdoor tables if you want to eat there. We ordered two Acai bowls - one for my partner and one for me. All toppings included, minus the additional bee pollen you can get for +$1. While they were making our order, I noticed that some of their menu selections are gluten free, dairy free, and "always organic"! I love how health-friendly their menu is. If I get to swing by here next time, I may consider getting a bowl of Hot Soup if the weather is right! But wow, I'm honestly kinda surprised that Acai Bowls can be so aesthetically pleasing! Maybe it's the frost on the slightly frozen blueberries. Or the very finely shredded coconut bits to the point where it looks like powdered snow. Or maybe it's the granola clusters rather than the normal bits that make it look more appetizing. Either way, my initial thoughts definitely disappeared after seeing it. This has topped my list for Acai Bowls. It's $13.50 a bowl, but it's a P E R F E C T E D bowl, and it's larger than the usual size I get around the Bay - it is 100% worth it. The base is pretty unique in that it's not just either Dragon Fruit or Acai. It's a mix of all sorts of goodies that go together really well. I appreciate that the bowl isn't overloaded with toppings, but were actually blended as part of the base. But even with all the stuff mixed, they had a very smooth base. Toppings wise - I loved that the Gobi berries had a freeze-dried texture to it, so it's crunchy rather than chewy. I love how the blueberries are slightly frozen. The hemp seeds, chia seeds and coconut shreds add little bits of texture in the bites, but not too much texture. Most of the crunch comes from the granola clusters and these were some yummy granola! The honey drizzle was perfect amount and overall, the bowl had just the right amount of added sweetness to it. Needless to say, we've really enjoyed our Acai Bowls here. Customer service was limited as it was just ordering and picking up, but it was friendly. I'm hoping to come back whenever we make our way up along the coast again!

I haven't been to juice on the square in years. I thought of them today and came back and got smoothies and celery juices. All their juices look so healthy and fresh whether you're looking for a cleanse or whether you just feel like a healthy drink. I will definitely come by more often.

Best juice in town. Their shots of ginger are to die for! Don't miss out on the sunrise if they do have it.

Ask the Community - Juice On The Square

Is there a deposit for the glass bottles? Some places I've been to in the past will give you a dollar off a future juice if you bring back the glass bottle from your last juice.

There is no deposit for glass bottles. They do appreciate customers returning bottles, although optional.

They burned something while it was being made and the entire room smelled horrible. When we finally got our food we raced out of there to eat somewhere else. When we got to our destination we found out that it was our food that was burnt. Not only did it look burnt but it tasted burnt with burnt pieces stuck to the sandwich from whatever appliance they used to cook it. There was rotten avocado put on the burrito and the other sandwich was so covered in burnt smoke that that's all we could taste. Everything was practically inedible. I left there honestly concerned about food poisoning. The whole place looks like it hasn't been cleaned and the one guy working there kept touching his face with his gloves and going to the back to cough. I tried calling over 10 times to try and communicate this but no one answers the phone and there is no place to leave a voicemail. I get this is a college spot but I used to live in the neighborhood and would visit all of the time. Seriously needs a health inspection!!!

I found this place online by searching Board Game cafes and totally didn't expect what we found when we walked in the store in the middle of downtown Hayward. There are so many board games to play, including unique ones like Skyteam. There's also many PCs and Switches available, and lots of tables. The ambiance is pretty kitschy. I think the place used to be a restaurant so there are lots of restaurant tables and chairs which aren't the most stylish or comfy necessarily, and there are lots of little knick knacks like old lamps or drapes. The lighting varies. But there is a sweet elderly couple who were running the place when we arrived, and it evokes a sense of comfy nostalgia to think maybe this is how they like the place or have kept it through many years, even though the times outside have changed. Everything is neat and clean, even if not to modern style. Things like Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer are also provided throughout. There is a bathroom that's likewise well kept at the back of the establishment, but just beware there are a couple spooky motion sensor light hallways to walk down to get there. I heard the food is good but we didn't try it this time. Little snacks and cup ramen, etc are also available for purchase :) $5 per person to stay as long as you like and play whatever you want is a great deal, and it warms my heart to have a space like this exist. Happy to support this sweet family business

I had been to the church before, but I didn't remember the massive coffee hangout there! It's so spacious and offers plenty of seating. How long has this place been here? I wish it were closer to where I live in San Jose! I could easily imagine sitting in one of the comfortable nooks, studying or grading papers. It's also a fantastic spot to meet up or chat with a group of friends. It was definitely a nice place for a date! When we walked in, there were hardly any available seats, but the line at the counter wasn't long. We found a quiet corner to sit and enjoyed our breakfast. I ordered a hot latte with maple syrup in the name, though I can't recall the exact name. It paired nicely with my pastry. The almond croissant I ordered was delectable, with just the right amount of sweetness and flakiness. My partner enjoyed his cappuccino and savory bacon croissant. We walked up two steps to the restroom and were surprised to find more seats and tables. I wish I had noticed that area when I was looking for a place to sit. Oh well, it was comfortable where we were. The girls should have more playdates with their cousins so we can come here more often.
