Sharetea is already pretty low on our list of boba places, but when you're up north in Sonoma County, you don't really have a ton of other options, plus we were eating at the Simply Vietnam Express that is colocated with this Sharetea. Contrary to some of the other reviews, we were able to adjust the sweetness and ice levels of our drinks, and in regarding the drinks, I'd say this location isn't better or worse than the typical Sharetea experience. However, because this location is colocated with a Vietnamese restaurant, it absolutely does not have the vibe of a boba tea shop and you won't have a lot of options for sitting and enjoying your drink, especially when the restaurant is busy. Not my favorite, but also not terrible. I would probably try some other options next time. read more

I come here not for the food but for the drinks solely and always have had a good experience. My go to drink is the QQ family with no red beans. This drink usually comes with egg pudding, boba, and lychee jelly and has a nice taste - slight coffee and black milk tea taste - i love it so much! One of the best boba options in Sonoma County. Sharetea is inside of the Vietnamese restaurant, which is always hoppin'. They have tons of drink options and it is pretty customizable! One night, they ran out of boba, which was terribly disappointing and almost made us never come back. I'm glad we did, though, because the next time I tried the Okinawa Milk Tea but subbed a green tea base -- wow. It was so delicious and perfect. I highly recommend that drink. You would think all Sharetea's are run the same, being a franchise, but this one doesn't allow you to adjust you levels if sweetness. We were allowed to adjust the ice to "less ice" but that resulted in NO ice in the milk tea. No wonder they don't allow you to adjust other levels - looks like the staff doesn't know how handle it. We also ordered a five spice chicken sandwich but what we got tasted like a teriyaki sandwich. Overall, inconsistent quality in food. In terms of Covid safety measures, they were very good. None of this QR code menu nonsense- they had laminated menus that they wiped down after every customer. There was social distancing between tables, stickers in line to help enforce it, and free hand sanitizer. Nice, clean facility. read more

I've had a craving for boba since moving from SOCA to NOCA. Stopped by for the first time around 1pm today (Thurs) . The place was packed but the service was quick a polite. I got an ice blended taro tea with boba pearls. One disappointment was that they don't have mini boba pearls, it's on the menu but I was told they no longer serve them. Too bad because no other place around here has them either. Was also hoping to find a place that has mini mochi cubes to put in drinks like Tastea does. I have been to this place many times for boba but never stopped to eat. I got a good amount of food for what you pay and it tastes pretty good. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because my friend that I came here with ordered fried rice and it took them 50 min to get it to our table. That is not an exaggeration it literally took 50 min for her to get her food. On top of that the staff seemed annoyed when we asked if her food was almost ready. It's my birthday today and thank god they were open. My drink was perfect. The people working today were sweet despite working during a PANDEMIC. They were kind on the phone when I called to check their hours and didn't act impatient or get short with me while I was browsing the menu (like other restaurants have during this time). I got a fresh milk green tea with extra boba, no other adjustments. I'm SO glad they were open and my drink was great and the staff were nice. I drove from out of town just to get some decent boba and the other location I went to decided to say they were open then actually were closed with no sign or anything!! So grateful for Sharetea. In fact I'm ignored while the counter staff talkes & visits with each other keeping the customers waiting unnecessarily. The staff has a less than professional attitude. The outdoor seating areadoes not have a trash can & the tables are not bussed or cleaned up. This happens frequently even when the place is devoid of customers. The good quality of the food is marred by the unpleasant manner of the condescending staff which ruins the whole experience. The aged owner/manager is often seen in the restaurant scowling at customers. She aparently likes their financial support but can't manage a simple smile or politeness of any kind. I ordered (and fell in love with) the kiwi fruit tea with jelly ice. This isn't your typical extremely sugary-sweet Asian tea drink; instead, there's a light spicy taste thanks to small pieces of ginger. There are also pieces of kiwi, including crunchy kiwi seeds. It took a a minute or two longer to get my drink than it does at other places because so much of the drink appears to be handcrafted. I will definitely be back for more. read more
