After a poor experience last time, we came back for another try. Again there was only one person working. They were nice enough to tell us that they had a huge catering order and it would be a wait. We couldn't wait, had to get to work. So we left. Disappointed in vitality bowls again. The bowls and smoothies are delicious but they never have enough people working. I went here with two friends on a Saturday at 2:15. Upon entering, two employees were there and made it obvious that they were annoyed to have customers before closing at 3pm. The barista complained about having to use the coffee machine that she just cleaned to make me a coffee. When it was done, she slammed it down in front of me and briskly walked away without making eye contact or saying a word. While on the patio, the other employee made it a point to tell us four times from 2:30 until 3pm that she was going to lock the patio gates and that we'd have to leave another way. Luckily the açaí bowl was delicious, the coffee was amazing, and the patio was relaxing. However, due to the unwelcoming environment, these positives aren't enough for me to come back. Too bad. I was in the area so I decided to give it a try. I got a medium nutty açaí bowl. It was more expensive than anticipated. The amount of açaís vs toppings. Wasn't impressive. Felt like it was mostly toppings. Flavor was decent. I will try another bowel if in the area. Kiosk available but they have a ringer. You have to pay with card if you use the kiosk. I had no clue about this location and made a U-turn when I saw it. The ambience is really nice and what you want for a little cafe. In the cooler they had their juices, energy balls, overnight oats and chai pudding. I got the chia pudding and was able to order toppings to be placed on it. It was really good. The chai pudding wasn't mushy like some can be. I did like that there was a person at the counter. I'm not a fan of the self-order. I like to be able to ask questions and for suggestions. They're frequently out of many juices, especially bottled ones listed on the menu. I can understand that, however when I asked to order a fresh juice, they told me that bcs they were closing in 30 minutes, they weren't doing those anymore. They were also very quick to rush us out well ahead of closing time. I understand needing to close, just would recommend they reduce their open hours if the staff actively doesn't want to be there and wants to leave early. Service was friendly and he offer suggestions about the bowls and what his favorite is, Superfood Bowl. I ordered the Vitality bowl. It had plenty of bananas, strawberries and açaí. I love this café, which is right next to a cute little coffee pop-up. Wonderful patio to sit in and relax while eating their delicious food.

Ended up here when my favorite local spot was already closed for the day. It is clean and well lit and has a lovely patio (although it was not very busy given the time of day). After standing there for about 5 minutes I realized that there was a self-order screen just to my right. Given that there was no one else there at the time, I was surprised that no one came out from the kitchen to see if I needed any help (they have a large window into the kitchen so I don't think it was that no one knew I was there...). Although I expect to pay more for super fresh ingredients, I was a bit taken aback by the cost. I got the small (think small ice cream bowl sized) chia meets acai which was almost $12. It was delicious but I don't know that I will be a regular here. I wonder how busy it is on weekends and the like- may need to try it out. read more

The flavor of mine (Vitality Bowl) could have carried a bit more umph, I think that I needed something to help bring out all the berry flavor, but overall I was happy with it. What a wonderful place! I went for the first time this past Saturday after my daughter and son-in-law raved about it. I actually went with that same daughter who treated me to lunch. I ordered a tropical bowl and substituted the apple juice in it for mango juice. Let me tell you, the flavors were fantastic and so much care is put in to preparing the bowls. This was the most refreshing lunch I've had in a very long time and I felt so healthy eating it, LOL! Enter the old McMahon's outdoor patio to get to Vitality Bowls who shares space with Savaya Coffee. It's clean, the staff is wonderful and there is seating indoors and out. We waited outdoors at a table while our bowls were being prepared to take home and the space is really nice - a chill vibe. I'm going to bring my coworkers here for lunch soon - I think they'll love it too. read more

I stopped in on the recommendation of a friend. I'm trying to up my healthy eating game. The menu was full of great looking smoothies, wraps, juices, and acai bowls. I tried the super green goddess salad. It's all self serve, or you can push a button for assistance. It's funny that you choose take out or eat in - I chose eat in, but it still came in a take-out bowl, when I asked what the difference was, he said there was a lid on it LOL! The salad tasted great, I loved the picked egg in it, the creamy avocado, and the dressing had a great flavor. I do wish it had been just a little bit bigger though. The next time I'm in the area, I'll try a smoothie - they all sounded great! There are a lot of nice seating areas both inside and outside on the patio! Hard pass! Unless you enjoy being treated terribly by the staff because you came in too close to closing and they'd rather go home. They refused to take our order although we arrived 30 minutes prior to close by their posted hours of operation. Ridiculous way to run a business. I loved my bowl! It was freshly made and the fruit was perfect. The lady at the register was super sweet but my only complaint is she recommended we add an extra layer of granola to the bottom of our bowl so it's be double crunch.. thought it was a great idea but once we get home and look at our bowls we only got the bottom layer and not the top. I had a full day of work ahead of me and needed something to give me energy, hard to find delicious food that is also convenient. This place really checked all the boxes for me! I ordered the power panini with chicken and it was very tasty as well as healthy, I didn't feel lethargic after finishing the meal, the staff was very friendly and the food was served relatively fast. The owner asked if it was my first time in (which it was) and offered me a free smoothie, these are the small businesses I love supporting, I wish there were more options like Vitality Bowls around the city. It's so easy to fall into the fast food trap when you're on the go, so having a healthy alternative is a major win in my book ;) definitely coming back again next time I'm in the area read more

Absolutely fan-freakin-tastic!!! Since this was my first visit I relied on the SUPER helpful staff to guide me in what I would like. The font was pretty small due to their extensive menu, so the young lady that was helping me offered me either a flyer type of menu or the kiosk, or just to verbally give me recommendations. She offered "fan favorites" then asked more questions to dial into the perfect bowl for me. Then she had go finish something in the back and instead of just letting me stand there to make up my mind (like most young people in the service industry do these days) she did a positive handoff to her teammate to provide more info in my mini Q&A session :) You just don't get that kind of service anymore and for that I was extremely impressed. Then came the meal. Wow! Love love love this food!! The right amount of high quality greens, veggies, quinoa and brown rice mixture, and fantastic pesto! Chill atmosphere with comfy chairs. Attached to a coffee shop. Go through the courtyard to get there. Oh and the Dragon smoothie was pretty good too.
