He showed me which retrofit parts to buy (Balboa) on Amazon and came back promptly to repair the tub. He had to do quite a bit of mods and it took him the better part of six hours. This company has no communication whatsoever and they couldn't care less that their customers are waiting for them for appointments they scheduled. They will email or text you that the appointment is canceled or rescheduled without confirming with the customer the new day or timeframe. Vitality, hot tubs and Maintenance did a great job on my hot tub. We had a couple leaks coming from Jets to the bottom of the tub and Daniel was able to identify them and fix them. I had a Monday appointment with this company. Took time off to make it happen and they didn't show up or even call. We attempted to reach out multiple times via phone calls and text, but they don't pick up their phone, even after leaving a message....Nothing! Then, I received an email stating they rescheduled for Thursday. We waited till Thursday and as suspected, it was a "No show". We called again, texted and left messages concerning what time they would show up. It's a day later and still nothing. It just goes to show you, anyone can open a business, but to operate it effectively requires something Vitality Bay Area doesn't have. The bottom line, they really don't care. I researched Google and Yelp reviews and chose Daniel at Vitality based on many good reviews, then contacted the company to see if he had done spa circuit board replacements before. Based on their "yes" answer and confidence, I hired him to replace the board on my Sundance spa with a brand new one I had diligently shopped for--making sure I had bought the correct replacement. (The company I worked with was 100% confident I was getting the right replacement--it wasn't cheap). A day after Daniel completed the work the spa completely died-- the control board display was blank, no jets, no nothing. He came back and determined the fuse had blown, which had *never* happened before in 15 years. He did not have a spare fuse so bypassed the fuse holder with a thick wire. That was the first sign I hired the wrong person. I asked if he could troubleshoot why the fuse had blown and basically his answer was "it was an old fuse". Second bad sign. He was then going to leave with the wire in place--WOW. Third VERY BAD sign. I pointed out this was a major fire hazard, and that I could not believe he would leave my spa in such a state. He did not seem the least bit concerned but removed the wire at my insistence. The next day I bought a replacement fuse and put it in, and it again blew almost immediately. My spa is now completely broken, and I am stuck with the choice of trying to find someone who can install the new board successfully (without seeing how the old one was correctly wired) or replace the entire spa. Daniel might be good at cleaning spas, but don't let him touch the electronics. Besides not knowing how to repair a spa, he might just completely wreck it, as he did mine, or worse. read more

We are absolutely thrilled with Vitality Hot tubs Installation and Maintenance. We bought a 6 persons jacuzzi that we needed moved and installed in our backyard. The corridor to bring it thru was very tight And so was the height due to the house roof top. Vitality Hot Tubs crew of four was able to slide it thru with patience, lots of elbow grease and care.
