I read about how everyone else seems to be so satisfied with this facility and I live nearby so I figured I would rather be safe than sorry. It was very easy to set up an appointment just using the website. I didn't have to call; I could see the availability right on line and make an appointment for date/time that worked best for me. They are located right off a major roadway and have plenty of free parking. It was easy to check in and the forms were pretty simple and standard. I wish I could have filled them out before going for my appointment. The medical assistant took me to an exam room and took the basic information from me before the doctor came in. I was seen by Dr. Wood who is very nice and professional. She agreed the lesion was something that warranted further evaluation and she did a small shave right then and there. They used some local anesthetic and the lesion shave was quick and painless. A few days later, I received an email letting me know the pathology report had come back and I could access the report online through their website. Because of the results, it was recommended to have the area resected through a procedure called Mohs surgery. Dr. Chodkiewicz comes to Marble Falls to do Mohs surgery and this is who Dr. Wood recommended for me. The office contacted me just a few days later to schedule the procedure and I was able to get in rather quickly. Nobody wants to be told they should have a procedure, and I hope I never need another one. But if I did, there is no question I would come back here. They are very professional and great at making you feel comfortable. I'm a healthcare provider and it's certainly different being on the other side of things and it is certainly a time filled with anxiety but they made it very simple and every thing was taken care of rather quickly. I had the Mohs performed at the Westlake location in Cedar Park and again, very professional. The procedure was quick and within days my incision looked quite normal and most people I know, couldn't really tell I had anything done without specifically showing them. Again, if you have anything you aren't sure about, don't hesitate to get it checked out. I think mine was caught soon enough and I am certain the Mohs procedure was a great success. I'll be going back in six months for my follow-up and if you are looking for a place, I can't recommend them highly enough.

Hair thinning / loss 2. Rash on my torso 1. (Hair Loss) I'll include the before and after photos of 1 year going to Gavino and you'll be shocked at the difference. I had been going to a couple of different dermatologists before, but felt I was always getting a surface level treatment. When finally finding Gavino, I was surprised at the level of treatment they provide. I was prescribed 2 oral medications and a shampoo. I told Dr. Gavino how I had been on finasteride, and topical minoxidil before but saw okay results. He informed me he preferred oral minoxidil instead of topical to prevent breakage in my already thinning hair (bonus because taking the oral medication is SO much easier) and later added a new medication to boost my hair treatment. It's been 1 year and my hair is INSANELY healthier now, and the loss has completely been stopped. I plan on doing PRP at their clinic to continue to boost my hairs health, and will update later this year. 2. Rash - Super simple but again, I was able to get a quick appointment, determined what it was, and prescribed a cream that knocked it out in literally 2 days. Their office is definitely a cut above, and I'll breakdown what I've seen so far. - Texting only facility, which it's 2026 and I think just about everyone is tired of getting spam calls so this is a breath of fresh air - Staff is awesome! They're great at their jobs, smooth, professional, and extremely efficient - Gavino is the best dermatologist I've worked with! The guy actually gets things done, and has exceeded my expectations to where I've recommended him to friends that live hours away. Charismatic but also extremely knowledgeable to where he has walked me through the treatment plan and answered any and all of my questions!
