I've come back again! Tire sensors were off, Sam and company was excellent, kind, and professional, and significantly cheaper than the over priced labor and materials at dealership. I was told that I really only needed one of my four sensors replaced and the employee made me feel very comfortable about not having to do more than that, but I opted to replace all four to save the headache of coming back in the near future. During the service Sam took a moment to double check my tire that has been slowly leaking air for some time. Spotted the sneaky nail that couldn't be seen from the outside and offered to patch everything up at a reasonable cost. I always come back here and always recommend this place. I come here like once every few years whenever I have any tire issues. It's the same owner for the last 30 years and he knows everyone in the neighborhood. He very thoroughly checked my tire, removed the nail, and sent me off without charging cause i didn't need to patch it. He said at some point i will need to replace the tire but not anytime soon. Came in to replace two tires, customer service is top tier, all the staff were super nice and informative. Parts and labor are fairly priced as well not to mention how quick the service was. No short cuts, they torqued my lug nuts to spec instead of zapping them on with an impact gun. Highly recommend for any tire needs. read more

I had called multiple businesses, trying to get the right sized tire for my car since we got a flat last night. This was the first place of all that I had called on a Saturday morning to tell me that they had them in stock. They didn't have any used in the size I called about but they had them new. Not only did they have them in stock but they diligently followed up by asking the make and model of my car. I didn't think much of the question at the time of my call but when I finally opted for their services and showed up, they showed me that the size I had already and sought wasn't the size it should have been fitted with. The price they quoted remained the same and they quickly went about installing the new pair of new tires. In addition to installing the new tires on the rear, they took care to stow my spare away in the trunk and advise me that the front tires should be replaced with the manufacturer's recommended size when I get the chance. I appreciate that they were so helpful, fast, affordable, and diligent. If my SO agrees, I definitely plan on coming back. read more

I have an e30 that I race and an 84 Porsche that I love, but I also bring my daily driver here. They use a torque wrench to get the right torque spec unlike the big tire shops. These guys are always fast, courteous and super honest! I had taken my company's fleet vehicle to a nearby pep boys since I was required to. They were incredibly rude and kept insisting the tire couldn't be repaired. On top of that they wanted me to wait 4 hours! I left and went to Vitess where I've been going with my personal vehicles for years. I've been here several times for tire pressure check ($2), patching a tire with a nail in it ($20$, and lastly one of the times in college I had a nail in one of my tires but was on a budget so I bought a used one. Each experience was a good one. The men working there are very knowledgeable and will inform you of the options you have whether you're on a budget or looking for something of quality. Dara is the guy to see here. I think he's the owner of the business as well which probably explains the high quality customer service. In December, my 91 Honda station wagon needed some new tires so I had a choice, come here or go to Costco where I've gotten tires from before. Since I have a much older and "inexpensive" car, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on all new tires that would be closing in on the entire value of the vehicle. Fortunately instead of being forced to some used tire shop in East Hollywood to buy reconditioned tires at cut rate prices which I have done before on just a single tire that had puncture damage, my uncle recommended me to Vitess where he had purchased tires from before. Here, I was able to get all brand new tires and have an alignment done because the wear on my old tires were really all over the place and the tires had worn down unevenly and were showing the belt on a couple of them. The brand Dara recommended to me was this brand called Falcon. I had never heard of it before but I the price was attractive so my logic was get them and hope they last until I sell this car. Turns out, when I was in Japan last month I saw a Falcon tire office building as well as their billboard ads as I was on speeding along on the Shinkansen. That was reassuring that this tire brand had enough traction (pun intended) to be recognized in Japan, a country that prides itself on quality. As for the service and turnaround, top notch. I told Dara what I was looking for and he made recommendations from high to low price points and gave the pros and cons. Basically I would be able to get more miles out of the tires at the higher price points. I was only looking for a capable and inexpensive tire so we went from there. The wait was an hour and a half so my wife and I just took a stroll down the street to a coffee shop and took our time sipping expensive tea surrounded by trendy looking people. read more

Note: GPS might take you to the residential area. The shop is along Beverly Boulevard. I called and informed them about my tire issues. Due to traffic, I arrived 30mins before they closed, but still accomodated me. They were honest and told me that I only needed to replace the two front tires, even set my expectations if i'll do the wheel realignment and balancing since my car is old. All three of them are very friendly. They let me watch as they fixed my tires, even educated me how balancing and realignment works. Got everything done in 30mins! Even welcomed me back and teach me more if I want to. Lol Upfront with the pricing, they are great people! I definitely recommend this shop. read more

Bait & Switch, beware! I called to ask if they do tire patching for a nail in the TOP, they said yes, I asked them how much, and they said that if it was patchable they would do it for $20, which sounded reasonable. These are new tires. I took my car there, they took a look, said it couldn't be repaired and that I needed to replace the tire for $300. I told them no thanks, and they charged me an $8 inspection fee, which they do not have posted anywhere and did not mention at any time. That is by far the most aggravating thing. Fine if you can't fix it, fine that you are tying to bait and switch me, and even fine if there is a fee, but TELL me up front. Probably only reason I'm posting this review, that insulting $8 "we didn't fully con you so we'll just con you a little" fee. Of course, went to another shop right after and they said it was totally patchable and took care of it for $20. Almost lost out $300. read more

My tire popped & this was the nearest shop so I called to make sure they had my tire and they said yes once I got there they told me no that they'd have to Order it & I'd have to Come back in a day or 2 and didn't even bother to check if I had a spare in my trunk he just read some sticker on the side of my car door and said my car doesn't come with a spare , so I went in my trunk and checked and when he saw I had a spare he just laughed and then offered to put my spare for me for 10 bucks ! Go here. I needed my tire changed it blow out. Luckily, I had a tire in my trunk. Dara changed it out for me. He did not push me into getting anything did not need. He also checked my other tires and made sure they had the right tire pressure. Charge for a tire change was minimal compared to other places tire places went to if they will even do it.
