Quick turn around for my chaise lounge cushion but after about a month the cushion is already breaking down. For over $400.00 I'd have expected better. They only have one choice of foam. For 400.00 I could've gotten latex from somewhere and wouldn't have buyers regret. read more

The work was so cheaply done I would not recommend this place to anyone. Vito's reupholstered 2 chairs for us. Wish I could post photos. One is a lush purple velvet with nail studs around the seat and arms. The other is a needlepoint chair my great grandmother made. The seat had worn too badly to have repaired but the back was fine. We chose a complementary velvet. The seat and back are beautiful and he matched the new nailheads with the old. Just got my vintage sofa and two chairs back from Vito's this morning and they look fabulous. I am so pleased with the service and pricing of Vito's! I had some cabinetry work done to enlarge a TV space in an existing bookcase. They did a great job. Vince came out one day and did some measurements and gave me the estimate by email by the next day! Who does that? It was such a surprise. Within a few days, two guys came out to get a paint sample and do final measurements. One week later, they came and installed. Very efficient! I had no problems at all and highly recommend them for cabinet work. I will be using him for some upholstery work when I find the fabric, too! read more

Vito's was one of 3 upholstery companies from whom I got quotes to reupholster a very collectible bedroom bench that I inherited. They were highly recommended by the company that refinished the bench, so I was surprised when their quote was the lowest of the three. Vito's small pickup/return charge on top of the low quote ($50 r/t) helped me decide to save the work of schlepping the bench up to their shop and back. They also estimated that they'd need less upholstery material than the other companies (4yds as opposed to 6 yards), and they were fine with me finding and supplying the material to them for the job. They estimated 2 weeks for the bench, and they got it done in just a bit over that, and the upholstery job was very well done. Of course since it is so nice, I now have it covered to protect it from our pets. Good price, good communication, and a high quality job. read more

Vito's Upholstery stuffed and recovered my sofas and chairs. They did a beautiful job. The sofa's look brand new and they have wonderful support - much better than the original ones. They also upholstered and changed the look of four dining room chairs. Originally the chairs had a cane backing with a wood surround. The chairs are now fully upholstered. They are comfortable and look beautiful. I would highly recommend this business. They were dependable and their price was very competitive. I priced out new sofas, but since I really like the way our sofa fit our space, and how much we spent intially, I decided to reupholster ours which turned out to be less than half of a new one. I try to shop and spend locally, but couldn't find an upholsterer that I felt comfortable with in our hip and trendy neighborhood. I was referred to Vito's by a friend of my husband who is very particuliar. Vince estimated my large sectional sofa and told me exactly how long it would take, when he could pick it up, and updated me thru out the process. His company showed up as promised, and delivered as promised. Absolutely zero obstacles. Even with all of the cushions being replaced, the cost was somewhat less than I was quoted by a local upholsterer without cushion replacement. I can't say enough great things about these guys! They just reupholstered 2 antique couches, 6 antique dining chairs, and 3 side chairs for me. They were extremely helpful and patient answering my questions and changing my quote in the YEAR it took me to decide what I was doing. I needed to have two pieces of furniture reupholstered and was wavering between reupholsterinig or buying new furniture. Although I liked my furniture, I didn't want to pay through the nose for updating my well-used pieces. I requested an estimate from Vito's as well as another upholsterer in the area and found that Vito's offered the best pricing by far. Communicating via e-mail made the experience very easy and the responses were quick. I dropped off both pieces (saving the $100 pick up and drop off fee) and was told that they would be ready in three weeks. They were ready as promised and when I went to pick them up, I found everyone in the shop to be very friendly. I am very happy with the results and would not hesitate to go to Vito's again. I highly recommend Vito's Upholstery, this is the second time I have used them to recover furniture and plan on using them again and again. They came highly recommended by a neighbor so I used them to recover some dining room chairs, the workmanship was excellent. The same neighbor also gave me a beautiful vintage chair when she moved and told me that Vito had also reupholstered this piece in the past so I went with them again. There was a shadow on the fabric that was quite visible on the back of the chair and the cushion was just a bit to high for short me. I worked with Vince via email and he worked with me to resolve these issues. The cushion was adjusted perfectly to my liking and they actually ordered more fabric to replace the piece that was flawed. I am certain that the problem with the fabric was not done at their shop but arrived from the vendor that way. I can completely understand how they could not have noticed it at the shop but once it arrived at my home with lots of natural lighting it was very obvious. I love the old fashion excellent customer service I received from them. From my first contact talking to Michelle, choosing my fabric with Vito and working with Vince to resolve the issue I am more than pleased. I just wish I had the option to choose more than 5 stars because they truly deserve more. read more
