I have not had a manicure or pedicure at a salon in several years. I would normally do it myself because I had bad experiences. I was getting married in a few days and decided to pamper myself. I Googled the top nail salon in Chino, CA and SUPREME Nails was the top of the list. YES, I read the reviews but most importantly I looked at the pictures of the nails from customers that showed nails. I decided to go in and make my appointment. When I walked in, I was greeted by Ana, who was working on a client and noticed her work in real time. I loved the clients' nails. At my appointment, Ana asked if I had pictures or an idea of what I wanted. WE ALL pull our favorite Instagram or Pinterest pictures which I did. When Ana asked if I wanted to do get a full set to get that look? I explained that I do not wear "fake nails" and will probably take them off after the wedding. Ana was honest and suggested I do not waste my money and to get a Gel manicure and pedicure to feel more comfortable. Ana took her time, which I enjoyed. I didn't feel rushed to leave since she books only by appointment during the week. Ana was so great at what I wanted that she educated me with nail health, and all the new items that I may want to use if I decided to continue to get GEL. I felt no pressure in any up sales that other salons do for nail art. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, and I can't wait to schedule my upcoming appointment. I read the reviews, and I see that some individuals want what they want but demand it. When your license is on the line and/or it's your business I would want to make sure that the person who will be my client will leave happy with the work. Needed a pedicure and really wanted to find somewhere close to my house. This place doesn't have recent reviews but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. My favorite place! I have gone two times so far. I had explained that I had just had a full set done the week before by another place and they fell off within the week. Ana took very good care of me and said I wouldn't need a fill for 3 weeks. She was right. 3 weeks later with all my nails still on and still looking good, I returned and Erika did my full set and pedicure. My nails came out great and my pedicure was perfect. Went in about 3 weeks ago for some ombré nails before my vacation. Showed the nail tech a picture of the shape I wanted. She was so nice & sweet but her work is another story. The shape didn't look anything like the picture I showed her. The tips weren't even laying on my nails right, which are flat, I could see a big gap between the tip & my nail surface. I had a funny feeling I was going to get mold under them. I had so much glue on 1 nail that it tore my skin & it hurt for a good 10 days. came home & reshaped them. Was not really happy with the work but again she was so nice & welcoming. Came home from vacation & started removing them & found a lot of green spots on my nails.
