This is a nice place for breakfast, it is quaint, and the service is good although food delivery was slow.
That being said, the food was very much lacking. Both my wife and I had the "crepes" for breakfast which was more like omelets than anything resembling a crepe. Mine was a ham, turkey, and cheese, which was filled with lunch meat. Like, compressed, highly processed crud. Not at all what I hope to get when I'm eating out. It also had some tasteless cheese, which appeared to be Buffalo cheese, which is an odd choice. My wife had a strawberry crepe (omelet) that had few strawberries, feta cheese, sprouts, raw spinach, and what appeared to be honey mustard salad dressing. It's like the chef just threw some stuff together without considering if any of this would be all good. It tasted cheap and lousy.
All that, and with two bottled waters, out the door with a tip for over $26 USD. Not a good value either. Maybe some other dishes are better, but I won't be going back to find out.
We were also treated with a view of old white guys peeing in the bushes at the golf course next door. That is certainly not the restaurant's fault and actually we got a bit of a laugh at it although it was terribly uncouth. read more
