This review is not based on pizza because I haven't tried it, but I honestly don't think I'm going to ever order from here again. Also, both times I ordered, it was from foodler. The reviews are pretty mixed with this place and every time I've ordered is when I'm in the mood for pasta. First time I ordered the chicken Alfredo with a side salad and cheesecake. The Alfredo was okay. I could have made it better. Chicken was fine. The dish was lacking in flavor and quite watery. The portion, however was huge. Salad was just a simple house salad, iceberg lettuce...etc. They didn't give me the right dressing, but I had my own. The cheesecake was just that; cheesecake. I decided to try this place again, instead with Spaghetti and meatballs. Only I don't think they know the difference between a baked ziti and spaghetti. I got my dish and it leaked watery red sauce everywhere. Annoyed, but not a big deal. I placed my salad on my coffee table and proceeded to the kitchen to clean up the red mess. I opened my dish to find that it was completely covered in melted cheese. Don't get me wrong, I love me some melted mozzarella. But I ordered Spaghetti, not lasagna, not baked ziti. No. Spaghetti. Of course underneath it all was a large portion of noodles and sauce. Meatballs were few and absolutely flavorless, as was the watery red sauce. I get so mad when I spend money on food and hate it. So I opened my own can of sauce and ate it anyway. When I walked back to my coffee table, my cat had knocked my salad on to the floor. Great. Then when I went to pick up my bag to use to throw away the salad, I realized they never gave me the chocolate cake that I had also ordered. Now I'm just mad and bitter. I called them back and they acted like they didn't believe me. Said they'd "check" my order and call me back. Yeah okay. At this point I didn't care because I already know I'm never ordering from here again. A guy ended up coming back with my cake and he was super sweet. But the chocolate cake? Was just that, chocolate cake. Meh. Not so much a good experience, but whatever. Lesson learned. read more

When I lived on Broad Street over by Pawtuxet Village....this was my pizza spot. The prices were fair, the pizza was giant and the wings were actually pretty damn good. Nothing fancy. Straight forward toppings, sauce and dough. Thin slice perfect for folding. I actually kinda miss this place and need to get a fix soon. Owners were always nice. I forgot my wallet one time and they let me pay the next time I came in (kind of sad I was on that kind of schedule with them. haha) Note: its not very good reheated. I ordered a House Specialty pie and 10-piece wings earlier, in spite of having some late night food. I chose Vivaldis since it was open late and still delivered. I was very surprised how quickly it arrived, exactly 20 minutes from my first call, they were at my door. Once I brought the pizza and wings inside, I realized how undercooked the pizza was. The exterior was cooked, however the center was a soggy mess. All the toppings were sliding off when removed from the box. The wings too, were very soggy, clearly boiled instead of fried. Bottom line, I would not recommend this place. I understand it's late, but people want at least DECENT pizza at this hour. read more

Delicious pizza. Plain and simple. The crust is a perfect thin and crispy base, and whatever it is they put on top is really good. The cheese has that perfect chew and the sauce is very tasty. I like that the ingredients and toppings are real. Real mushrooms. Not canned. I like bacon pepperoni and mushrooms, myself. I've both picked up and done delivery, and both are quick and easy. I used to live at the other end of the street from Vivaldis' and I loved this place. I even find myself craving the pizza from hear years later. Amazing service and such good pizza! we went in once as a group and the next time my boyfriend and I came in together the guy remembered us! It's always nice to be treated like a neighbor in this fast paced world we live in. I've also had their tuna sub, it was pretty good. Better than subway could ever make. Ordered Four Cheese pizza with pepperoni and curly fries to my home. The delivery was faster than expected, at about 20 minutes, (was quoted 45 or more). Friendly delivery man who addressed me as 'sir'. The pizza's cheese was less melted than I would prefer, but the pizza was still plenty warm; tasty, but the cheese isn't stringy when lifting a piece from the rest of the pie, and the flavors from the cheeses all kind of blended together more than preferred. Pepperoni were good. Crust is chewy and thin, definitely not experiencing anything "under cooked" like some others mentioned; it's just the style of pizza. Not much to say about the sauce - didn't offend and didn't particularly impress. Ordered a large which was VERY large; good amount of fries too. Curly fries were just a little on the soggy side, and tasted a tiny bit like the seafood that had probably been in the fryer prior to them, (a bit of a clam cake flavor, which is OK by me!), but enjoyable none the less. Overall a positive experience, if not a little bit underwhelming. Recommended if you want a lot of food that will leave you full and mostly satisfied. What an absolutely delightful surprise this spot turned out to be. I drove by one late night after a really intense workout and was just trying to check out places that may still be open. Pizza is always a safe bet. In I walked to this unassuming place. It's definitely hole-in-the-wall looking outside and inside but their delivery service is hopping. I was greeted by the helpful order taker/cashier, who seemed to be the only one speaking English other than Italian. This was a good sign for me. Behind him was a group of men all speaking Italian while fussing over the pizza (aka handmaking) and pasta. It was evident that he and the others are family owners. I took a chance and ordered the Clam Pizza with White sauce. I also tried the Shrimp Parmesan (unique!). Meanwhile, he was raving about their Fish n' Chips as being the "best-in-town" so I made a note to take him up on his claim next time. Took the orders home -- drove for about 7 minutes expecting the pizza not to be that great anymore. Was I wrong. The crust was fresh and not too thick, the clam sauce was definitely delicious. The shrimp parmesan was also scrumptious. I do think this place deserves to be checked out by more pizza lovers. The spot doesn't look much from outside but their pizza is where it's at. Love it here. We order here from work. It is quick, huge portions and delicious food. We have tried pastas and salads from here and I have nothing but good things to say about them. The pasta dishes are about 10 bucks with a salad and bread and served 3 of us. Not bad for a split lunch. read more

This was the second time I ordered from this place. The first time I don't quite remember but tonight I was unimpressed. I ordered a meatball grinder and a eggplant Napoleon pizza. I bit into the grinder and the meatball was actually crunchy. The garlic on the pizza is minced garlic from a jar and there's an over abundance of it on the pizza. Nice place great guys who are nice. I am a fan of the hot lovers pizza with eggplant but the cherry peppers I noticed some had stems and others were just stems alone. They could be taken out but maybe its tradition or something. Foods great but I am a coke product person and they carry pepsi. The stickers that spelled the word pizza on the store front ended up spelling out azz when you're looking from the inside migh be bad for kids. Absolutely best place! The staff is funny, welcoming, and always pleasant. The food is great whether it be fish and chips, pizza, salad with cheese, eggplant parm, calzones, chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, or anything they make. Ordered a chicken bacon wrap and shrimp platter. the shrimp is okay but the portions is very generous.. the wrap was horrible if you can even call it a wrap, i literally had a pile of meat with soggy vegetables covered over the top (not actually wrapped) in a flaky tortilla wrap.. i took a bite and couldnt finish it... kind of depressed really. it was a waste of money, i used to order from vivaldis weekly but that just wasnt acceptable to serve. will not be buying from them again. read more
