Most delicious pizza in the area! Focaccia style crust that manages to stay perfectly crispy underneath the generous toppings. My go to is spinach and onion with feta. They put a ton of fresh spinach on it, you can almost convince yourself it's healthy! Tomato sauce is fresh and zingy too. It's in an easy to miss spot off of Reservoir Ave in Cranston. This place is so underrated. The pizza is one of the best bakery style pizzas in the state. It's always made fresh and is delicious. Perfect sauce, cheese, topping ratio. A solid pizza. Very filling. I'm somebody that can usually eat a large pizza without breaking a sweat. Here, I couldn't even finish the small. Crust on the thicker side, and very reasonable prices. People are friendly, and a relatively small shared parking lot. While good, its probably not a place I'd go back to, as the crust is to thick for my liking, but this is a great option in the area nonetheless. read more

Went to a Golden Globe watch party last night. No matter how much food is there, the party pizza is always the biggest hit. Albertino's does it right! I can never decide if I want a middle piece or the end. Usually I don't like crust but Albertino's delivers the perfect crunchy tasty crust. Stop by and pick up a half tray or whole tray. I can't believe I am just recently finding this gem. The bakery pizza is definitely top 5 in the state. Thats saying a lot coming from me. I love my bakery pizza! The regular pizza is also very good and the prices are very reasonable. I have been dying to try a spinach pie but they are sold out almost everyday. The owners are super nice. I wish I knew about Albertino's sooner. I will definitely be visiting often. read more

Went to a holiday potluck a while ago and there was a box of party pizza - ahhh RI staple! Figured it was just another party pizza, but I was wrong! Great red sauce and crisp crust. It was so good, I asked my gf where they got it from and she said her hubby ordered from Albertino's! Funny how it was around the corner from an apartment complex I used to live near and I never knew - it's in a small plaza with a Chinese takeout place and a liquor store - one stop shop for some! =) On a whim, I picked up a chicken parm calzone and a steak and cheese calzone - both were delicious along with a few red strips! Ordered three spinach rolls (the are huge!) and a large pepperoni pizza on a recent Friday night. The spinach rolls were incredible. Soooo much flavor, lots of filling, one of the best I've ever had. Strombolli was not really a proper traditinal strombolli, which are very hard to find. That is to say the proper dough, which is rolled in a way that the dough is essentially "spiraled" through out. The meat ratio was also quite low. The building was very run down and not a clean looking as I would like. read more

I can't say too much about this PLACE because I've never actually been in there. BUT I have eaten the pizza. It was left over from a friends party last night. I put a slice in the toaster, heated it up and was so impressed by day old pizza I asked what restaurant it was from and wrote this review. The crust is thick but not hard or too chewy. Albertsons is a Cranston landmark. Specializing in sandwiches, a variety of calzones and pizza/ pizza strips. This place is old school take out. All attention and effort is in food - not ambiance. Ordered a small Italian sandwich. Sandwich was on fresh soft bread and delicious. I ordered a small but if it looked like a large. No ingredient was spared. Needless to say, I could only eat half. Great old school bakery / pizza place! I stopped in for lunch and found everything I could have wanted. I went with a pizza strip and a spinach pie. The pizza was loaded with a chunky tomato sauce that was so good. The pie was packed with tasty, tender spinach. Both were moist and flavorful without being oily. I'll be back. This is a great pizza and calzone place right under your nose Cranston.. There are SOOO many places to eat Italian but don't discount how great the Cold (Party Pizza) and the hot pizza is here. For me, three big tests usually determines how good a pizza is: the crust, the sauce, and the cheese. In my opinion, Albertino is average in all three categories. The crunch was crunchy but some parts of the pizza were extra crunchy and hard to chew. Cheese is basic; I wish it was more cheesy when you pulled it apart. My least favorite part of the pizza was the sauce. The ingredients used to make the sauce were not fresh and the flavor reminded me of tomato paste dabbled on crunchy pizza dough. Overall, this pizza place is ok. Workers there were very nice and I'd love to try something else. Maybe I might give a better review. read more

After seeing someone rave about the party pizza on Facebook, I wanted to check it out for myself. Certainly was not disappointed! Picked up a couple of full-size pizza strips and a spinach pie. The spinach pie was OK, The spinach itself was plentiful but pretty mediocre. The dough however was excellent. The pizza strips certainly stole the show, among some of the best I've ever had. Kind of soft, but a little crispy towards the end of the crust. Sauce was excellent, a little chunky but consistent at the same time. Will definitely visit again, looking forward to trying some calzones and maybe even a couple of subs. Oh, super friendly service as well! Great job! read more
