Came into G By Guess to do some back to school shopping. Walked in and we were greeted by the employee. I asked her if she can point me in the direction of some jeans that we were looking for. She was unsure so she asked her coworker to help us out and he gave great customer service and took us exactly to what we were looking for. Looked around and they did have some nice clothing items. However they seemed a bit pricey for my price range. Found two pairs of jeans that the granddaughter liked and the total for two jeans came out to $198.00. Maybe it's my generation but I feel this was way overpriced. I expected to get a lot more, but I guess you're paying for the name when you want a brand on your jeans. read more

Hands down the BEST G By Guess I've ever set foot in. Sizings are plentiful, customer service is great, and the store is decent in size. Bonus points because this particular store allows customers to utilize it's dressing rooms during covid times unlike all the other shops I visited. Employees are extremely thorough in making sure they sanitize in between usages. Clothing styles vary from sexy clubby-ish to casual which I absolutely love!! Yes, to all the Plain Janes who like to wear non flashy, super comfortable, every day styles- look no further!! Store was clean & very well maintained. One of the staff was super friendly and helpful. Although I didn't like the approach of the other two staff. I tried on a few things came out and noticed the girl attending the fitting room went in right after me to check if I hid anything behind the bench, which I thought was rude that it was done in the open insinuating that I'm going to steal something. I then notice that when the other person walked out of the fitting room she didn't check the room at all. I understand theft in San Jose is high & I understand protocols that need to be followed after people come out of the fitting rooms but at least show some respect & do it in a manner that doesn't make people feel uncomfortable. read more

Shop is relatively small compare to other G by Guess stores. But the staffs are really friendly and they give one on one attention. Sizes are hard to find here. read more

Terrible customer service I would gave zero beware they scam me charged me double without telling me on my credit card. The manager is horrible and I think she doesn't know how to manage or solve customer Problems. The manager was rude kicked me out of store when I got upset with them without no reason. I will never shop at guess store or no longer trusting this company. read more

To Whom It May Concern, I was in your store on 8/25/2016 early when the store first opened with a fellow friend of mine. My friend was trying on an outfit and wanted to see what a hat will look like with it on. I went and grabbed a random hat from the front of your store and proceeded back to my friend when I got stopped by your employee Juan who was working on a wall reset for your eyeglasses. He told me I couldn't take the hat back to my friend and when I asked why he said it was store policy. I told him that she just wanted to see what it would look like on with her outfit and he said I will let her but I have to be back here with you; keep in mind there is another employee at the register the whole time who is a woman, I saw discomfort on my friends face as we walked towards the stall and told him "well she might feel uncomfortable showing what she is wearing in front of you". He said "then she cant try it on". As I handed him back the hat he snatched the hat out of my hand and plopped it on the table and went back to work on his wall. As my friend walked back into the dressing room to change her clothes to leave I walked back over to Juan and asked him "Are there a lot of thefts in this store and that's why people cant try on hats" (making small chat). He said "no that's just the policy" very rude like so I told him "you don't have to be rude". He then said "ok bye, all snarky". At this time its early in the morning and one other customer besides my friend and I were in the store so she can hear how rude he was to. I walked over to the counter and by this time my friend was coming out of the dressing room and I was asking the lady at the register for Jaun's name. He says "don't give her my last name" yelling it from across the store. If you ever been to the Eastridge location the back wall right now has Eyeglasses near the dressing room and Im at the register. That's a long ways to yell at a customer. So now Im upset and respond to how rude he was and we are literally going back and forth. He comes to the register and pushes a button to I guess call security. Which was rude and not necessary because I wasn't acting up at all to begin with and he walked over into my direction. As someone who has 8+ years in customer service Im embarrassed at how I responded to him but more so how he acted towards me. I felt judged from the beginning as though I was going to steal and I have a great job that pays me very well and more than enough money in my account that I was ready to spend. I felt judged to the point where I wanted to show them my Citibank account balance on my phone app just so he wont think that I was trying to take anything. If he wasn't so grumpy first thing in the AM about having to do a wall reset then maybe he would of been nice enough to ask the girl at the register to just come and assist us for a bit while he holds down the cash register. I mean what girl wants to be in front of a guy that she doesn't know in a dressing room. What makes me even more mad is that there was some really cute shorts that I wanted to buy. But now I feel so uncomfortable even walking past that store because I don't want to ever see this guy again; Eastridge mall is literally a 5 minute drive so this is my home mall, I mean who wants to be judged on how you look, or skin or gender. Who wants to walk in and feel awkwardness or possibly get mall security called on you and you've only walked into the store. Now the same morning I made a complaint to corporate and I very specifically asked to speak to the DM of that store. I gave my email, cell and work number. I wanted to tell him about his employees and say that retraining of some sort needs to be done. I never got a call, or and email. All I got was a 15% off coupon to the Guess store. I told the nice lady on the phone that I didn't want it because I will never shop at a guess franchise or buy the brand ever again. That employee alone left the worst taste in not only my mouth but my friends mouth. Now Im sure that losing my business isn't a big deal but when people start to talk and things spread. I turns to many. Like dropping a rock into a pond. I still to this day on 9/1 would like to speak to the DM. Its sad that I wont be purchasing those really cute shorts that I wanted, or shopping at my favorite store ever again and I have to walk by feeling awkward in my home mall but hey that's life.
