I've been addicted ever since, hence living ~25 minutes away without traffic or even coming from UC Irvine to study. I still manage to visit several times a week! The minimalistic ambience and aesthetically pleasing drinks make it an enjoyable experience. I've tried so many strawberry matcha lattes, but this one hits different. Quality you can taste. I appreciate that their fruit purees and syrups are made in-house and that they use premium ceremonial grade matcha. Their milk adds a unique creaminess and richness to the drink, enhancing its flavor without diluting it. Baristas are so nice and always tell you to let them know if you need any adjustments. Prices may be a bit higher than other places, but as cliché as it sounds you get what you pay for, considering their dedication to high quality ingredients. Each drink is meticulously crafted, so be patient as good things take time. :) It's an ideal spot for studying or simply hanging out with plenty of seating and tables available. I've done their flights in the past and had a mochi donut which was just standard mochi donut, not bad, not made fresh. It's good if you want a sweet treat, but there's tastes less artificial. My go to is the strawberry matcha with the actual strawberry compote in it and a mochi donut if I want a pastry. I think you order on a screen, but I always end up flagging an employee down to input my order for me. If you're lucky, you can find street parking, otherwise, there's a parking lot you can access off Commonwealth, east of Harbor, west of Pomona Ave. That lot, depending on time of day or night, can be packed so just know you might have to circle around for parking during busy times. Honestly, I've driven by this place early in the morning and late (around 9 - 10 pm) at night and it's pretty busy at all hours, but they get the orders out fast. read more

I'm not too picky on my coffee because it's usually just espresso and water mixed. But this was undrinkable. The staff should try their own drink to see if they would even drink it. With that being said, it is a busy place and very loud. Come with headphones to drown out the noise if you come to work. There is not a lot of outlets. A late-night study spot in downtown Fullerton with plenty of seating! Came here excited to try the matcha drinks everyone's been raving about, but ultimately left disappointed. The first thing I noticed was that the matcha einspanner had more of a yellow-brown green color for some reason (usually supposed to be a vibrant green). You can see in the picture the difference in matcha color between the two drinks I ordered (matcha einspanner on the right). It also tasted VERY grassy, which is definitely not what matcha is supposed to taste like. Was extremely let down by this drink. The flavor profile of the pandan oat matcha latte was much better, but a bit watered down in my opinion. Both matcha and pandan flavors could be stronger. Not sure if today was just an off day, maybe will consider coming back to give it another chance! In the meantime, I will stick with Airoma Cafe for their einspanners and pandan matchas. read more

They seem to be working hard behind the counter though. Everyone has their own job & it also seems like they're training newbies as well. Having a high volume of orders and training can get overwhelming. The blueberry matcha was good, but still, nothing epic... You can see them whisking the matcha back there and your drink is bright green, but it still tastes watery. As a viet person, calling whatever the coffee in the cafe sua da is so insulting. AHAAHAHAHA. It's just so burnt tasting, almost like they didn't clean the filter for a whole week or something. The caramel latte is my standard latte to try at new coffee shops as I like the taste and usually, the caramel flavor brings out the coffee notes. This was not a caramel latte. I saw the caramel, but tasted no caramel...I'm confused. I would say if you come here, stick to the matcha, but even that is subpar. I gave 3 stars for the service, but I think if you're gonna let your team be seen whisking matcha, at least make it less agonizing for them. It was kind of painful to watch.
