Stopped by as I was in the area and had a pretty good experience. Floe is located in the corner of the plaza, they offer free validation for the lot too. They've got a bunch of outdoor and indoor seating, and it's got a cute IG-worthy vibe no matter where you sit. Service was not the best, I was the only person inside and there was at least 5 people behind the counter, and not one person was willing to help, so I tried to use the self-serve screen. Unfortunately the self-serve doesn't allow you to order baked goods, so I had to flag someone to help with ordering those (at which point I just asked if we could ring everything up in-person). I also had to correct the staff several times as there were errors with ringing up the order. Once I got the order, things did improve. The strawberry matcha (with oat milk) was really good, the matcha tasted fresh and the strawberry wasn't too sweet. Their Almond Croissant is good too, but I just wish they had some more filling because that stuff was great. Their chocolate chip cookie wasn't anything to write home about though. Overall this felt like a 3.5/5 experience, but I'm rounding down because of the bizarre service and how off-putting that was. I'm willing to give this place another shot and even try their bingsoo next time, because the matcha was solid. read more

We ordered the small Mango Bingsoo ($8.50) and added a side of azuki beans ($0.50). I was happy to find that the mango was layered throughout the dessert and not just placed on top. My friends and I went out here in hopes of finding another spot for matcha and bingsoo. Before entering, I saw two posters that were CLEARLY AI. I absolutely loved Floe! I feel like although it's talked about a lot, it's also hidden because it's in an area that's a little confusing to get into, at least for me. But it was so beautiful, the staff were so sweet and the peacefulness made me stay for hours doing work I needed to get done. It never stays crowded too! As for their bingsoo, I got what the lady who was working recommended which was the mango one and I've never tasted a softer, sweeter, and mind-blowing bingsoo in ages!! I came here randomly with a group of friends. I asked about the matcha powder because I'm allergic to dairy. They said that there's no dairy powder in their matcha. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. I saw a sign that said they give healthcare providers 10% off, which is very generous. I brought out my handy dandy badge to get my discount :) ! I was so excited to try this spot, unfortunately they don't have a plant-based option for the coconut cloud. Because their matcha is cream/milk based there was no way to change that. I finally made it to this viral matcha cafe in Fullerton. Famous for their matcha drinks with cloud cream tops and silky soft Korean shaved ice called bingsoo, their drinks are so creamy and you can tell they use high quality ingredients. You have to try their Triple matcha latte and the Violet coconut cloud that was actually purple. This was my first time trying a refreshing matcha drink (I know), and it was surprisingly good. They also have Dubai chewy cookies here. I was so sad they ran out of the original Dubai flavor but that's how you know it's good. The hazelnut flavor I tried was a solid 9/10 though and reminded me so much of the crunchy bit of a Ferrero Rocher.
