New to the area. I booked Andy for pedi and mani but they had Tina do my ped and didn't tell me. That was a slight complaint but I didn't say anything Bc Tina did an amazing job. I let her do my manicure as well. Only think I noticed is my no chip didn't last as long Bc I think she had me take them from under the 'dryer' too soon. Going forward I'll be sure to keep them under the curer until the light shuts off. read more

I had a terrible experience with one of the technicians. I don't know her name. She was rushing so much that she spilled jar with dipping powder all over her station not once but twice. Then she scooped it back up with her nail file and hands. Talking unsanitary. I was coming here for months bringing my mom as well. I was seeing Tina all the time because she is simply the best and enjoys her job very much. I was seeing different people as well because it was always the two of us, my Mom and I so I didn't want to waste time waiting for Tina. She was so kind to my mom so she ended up always assisting her. Tonight was just really bad that I had to write the review. The tech was clearly rushed and looked tired. Or like she didn't want to be there. Did not even listen to me as to what I wanted. Never even touched my cuticles at all but tried using the machine for nail filing on my skin well Above the nail bed which really hurt. So I told her please do not do that. At that point, the owner or whomever she claims to be (main technician) never introduced herself turns around and states "stick with Tina in the future you always complain". Mind you never once have I complained to her. Instead of asking what was wrong as I am a lying customer she was unkind and rude beyond unprofessional. For that reason alone and the way she made me feel I will never step a foot into that business. I understand being tired and I would have forgiven that part but being rude and unprofessional by owner or whomever she is I will not stand for that. I truly feel terrible for Tina. Such a talent and above all her kindness is everything. I wish her the best. Such a shame. read more

I used to be a loyal customer to Vivy Nails so this is really hard to write. I had an appointment at 4:15 pm with Tweetie. I arrived on time and was told it would be just a few minutes before she started my pedicure. Essentially, they accepted a few walk ins and were not staffed for it. I've always been very understanding as a customer because I realize appointments run long, breaks are needed, and I respect the work that the staff does very much. I always tip very well to demonstrate that appreciation. I was called back to the pedicure bowl about 5 minutes later. Tweetie filled the water bowl with lukewarm water and told me to soak my feet. I did and she told me she would be with me in 5 minutes. Great, no big deal. 10 minutes pass, 15 minutes pass.. no one is even by the pedicure station at this point to check on me. There is no sign of any other appointments wrapping up, I looked over to Tweetie's station and realized she started on a different client than the one she was finishing up to when I got there for my appointment. At this point it was 30 minutes past my appointment time. I'm sitting there ignored with cold pedicure water. She didn't even turn on the water swirling function. I walked out and told her I would not be back. I'm not sure why she couldn't have given me a curtesy call to let me know she was running an hour or more behind but to waste my time when I had an appointment is completely unacceptable. I respect and value her time and expected the same in return. It felt personal and blatantly disrespectful. I do not recommend this salon. read more

Nobody even greeted me when I stepped in then as I waited a few minutes, someone finally acknowledges me only to say they only take appointments . Why is that not posted anywhere or stated ? Hmmm then I asked would I could come back for an appointment .. she says not today ... well ok when ? Doesn't try to book me one or anything. Would not recommend . I doubt every single person in the shop had an appointment but what makes it even worse a lady who walks in after me of different descent gets serviced. My friend and I were looking for a salon near work. She ended up finding Vivy Nails in Yelp, couldn't find any info or reviews. We decided to take a chance and go. SO GLAD WE DID! Large space with very nice decorations, I got a pedicure and have ingrown nails, which hurt. I didn't get my nail techs name but she was so gentle and didn't feel when she took the ingrown out! My toes look great and I felt comfortable! Congratulations on the grand opening and Thank you for a great experience! I'll be return again for sure! read more

Once these slowly started opening up I saw a girl at work and asked where did she go to get her nails done .. she said vivy .. couple days later I go to Panera I see the girls nails they say vVIVY right away I went to the shop! Tweet who was the cutest little thing made me an appt . My appt was yesterday and let me say this!! ME N TWEET ARE BEST FRIENDS NOW!!!! She asked me how long and even how thick which I never got asked n I've been getting my nails done for a very long time!!! Ladies !!! This is the new spot ! It is soo cute inside and the customer service was phenomenal. I got my nails super short which i never do and I am in love wit them ! I got an amazing coconut pedicure and the massage that TWEET gave almost put me to sleep ! I percent recommend VIVY! They even have a nail book instead of the nails on the key ring !!! VIVY is the best I wouldnt even leave a review if it wasn't..:. Not to mention they literally sanitized everything after each client !!!
