Unfortunately, this has not been my experience here. During my recent visits, the same technician has provided my services, and both times were extremely frustrating. A pedicure took over an hour, and a no-chip fill-in took more than three hours to complete. On this last visit, the technician even left in the middle of my fill-in to eat, returned while still on the phone and chewing, and hadn't even started using the actual fill-in products--an hour had already passed just from filing my nails. This is simply unacceptable. Time is valuable, and no service should take this long under normal circumstances. While I understand that everyone is at a different point in their learning, clients shouldn't bear the cost of that with long, inefficient service. If you have several hours to spare and don't mind the pace, this might be fine for you. But for me, this was the last visit. I cannot continue to support a business that doesn't respect my time.

I was a bit surprised seeing the rating Trend Nails received and it could be the person they had or some other experience. But overall I have always experienced a great amount of care. They are super clean with the tools, cleaning the foot baths and love the fact they don't reuse the pumice, stone or sponge. I do not like when places use the scrapper on have had issues in the past. I took my mom to this salon yesterday for a little mani-pedi pampering for her birthday. I called…read morein the morning to make an appointment, as I am not a fan of walking in and having to wait, and the woman on the phone said she could get us in at 12:30pm. We arrived at 12:30pm and thought the salon was pretty empty, until we poked around the corner to see all the pedicure chairs completely full. All technicians were working as well, so we knew we would have to unfortunately wait. We picked our colors and they surprisingly had us in pedi chairs within 5 minutes. Once we were comfortable we soon realized that we would be waiting a while. 35 minutes later, as we were about to dry our feet off and leave, but the woman must have heard our discussion and swooped in to proclaim it would only be "1 more minute". We again contemplated leaving, because we weren't going to pay to be rushed out of this salon. The technicians were busting their butts to get to all customers in a timely manner, so it wasn't as if anyone was dragging, and they all appeared to appreciate the busyness of the salon. We decided to stay and I have to say our experience changed from there. The gentleman that did my nails was a little rough with my cuticles, but he took his time, and did not seem irritated (as most do) while he was going through his routine. He did a great job with my cuticles and the painting of my nails. He moved fast, but I didn't feel rushed, and he made very few, if any mistakes. The woman that did my mom even gave her an extra special birthday back massage. I have never been to this location before, so I don't know if thats customary? I assumed it wasn't since I received the standard arm and hand massage. It appeared that time management was the simple snafu in this salon. I can only imagine how difficult it is to manage walk in's and folks that call in to make reservations. Anyway, my nails look great, my mom was pleased with her birthday mani- pedi, and it turned out to be a pretty good experience. There are a couple other salons in the area, but I will keep this one in the rotation :)
