Jimmy is so good with hair and so nice to talk to (which is low key really important for a good vibe considering some hair appointments require hours in the chair). He also teaches me how to manage the haircut I got (eg color) and my favorite thing about his haircuts is that he does them so that they grow out nicely. I will forever recall the dark pandemic days when my bangs had grown out terribly and a hair stylist commented on the fact that it wasn't a flattering cut and Jimmy on the other hand has always been so kind - rescuing me from orange tones my previous stylist had done and horrible money pieces. When I tried colored hair, I lived in San Francisco but I trusted no one else with the experience so I drove down to VJONES every time! Unfortunately, my hair has been almost completely bleached and looks nothing like the inspiration pictures I provided, with the color applied OVER the bleach washing out just 2 showers later... She was very patient and knowledgeable of what kind of partial highlight suits me the best. I decided to get dark brown touch up for my scalp and do partial purple+magenta highlight for the end. Dianne is super easy to talk to, extremely thoughtful( water/Netflix/ frequent check in/ stun conversation,etc), and very through.
