She is the sweetest, and is one of the nicest people I know! Even if it was just a simple snip of my hair, it was always so fun and enjoyable! She always asked what I would like, and gave me many tips on how to care for my hair! My family and I left to go live in Pismo Beach, when I came back into San Jose after a few years to visit. We were just hanging around town, when we decided to head to her salon for a hair cut. I came in with the intention of a simple trimming, and left with beautifully wavy hair! Superb experience. I asked my friend where she got her hair done because I saw how nice her haircut and color was. I don't get easily impressed when it comes to haircuts, but that was a great cut. I booked an appointment and I was not disappointed. It's probably the best cut I ever had. The owner is super friendly and accommodating for such short notice. I dunno what its exactly called... but I was like urgh, I would like my head attached to my neck... 20 mins later Tommy worked magic on my hair. My family has been going to Michelle for years (and shes a newby to Legends..under 1 year) and it turns out that most of the stylists cater to disabled people there. My sister has downs syndrome and I am sure many who have a family member or friend know how hard it is to find good people to assist with something as simple as a haircut let alone find an establishment that makes them feel welcome. Almost everyone I have seen at Legends has a client with disabilities and it is fantastic. They treat them like royalty when they walk in and its so great to see that sort of interaction. If you have a relative or friend with Downs syndrome or another type of disability I would recommend Legends as the place to go. Best treatment I have ever seen from a collective of people.
