She is the sweetest, and is one of the nicest people I know! Even if it was just a simple snip of my hair, it was always so fun and enjoyable! She always asked what I would like, and gave me many tips on how to care for my hair! My family and I left to go live in Pismo Beach, when I came back into San Jose after a few years to visit. We were just hanging around town, when we decided to head to her salon for a hair cut. I came in with the intention of a simple trimming, and left with beautifully wavy hair! Superb experience. I asked my friend where she got her hair done because I saw how nice her haircut and color was. I don't get easily impressed when it comes to haircuts, but that was a great cut. I booked an appointment and I was not disappointed. It's probably the best cut I ever had. The owner is super friendly and accommodating for such short notice. He is always current with all of the newest styles and techniques and frequently offers excellent advice given our face shape and the amount of work we want to spend on our hair. My family has been going to Michelle for years (and shes a newby to Legends..under 1 year) and it turns out that most of the stylists cater to disabled people there. My sister has downs syndrome and I am sure many who have a family member or friend know how hard it is to find good people to assist with something as simple as a haircut let alone find an establishment that makes them feel welcome. Almost everyone I have seen at Legends has a client with disabilities and it is fantastic. They treat them like royalty when they walk in and its so great to see that sort of interaction. If you have a relative or friend with Downs syndrome or another type of disability I would recommend Legends as the place to go. Best treatment I have ever seen from a collective of people.
