Dr. Vo is an excellent dentist and has a terrific staff backing her up. Her communication is always clear and she is happy to provide you more information if needed. Dr. Hang Vo is truly an exceptional dentist. In fact there is no one else I would trust with my teeth. Many years ago I had a dentist who didn't catch cracks starting on my teeth though I complained of tooth pain. I switched immediately to Dr. Vo. She took care crowns, and saved a loose tooth with low root. Once I had a crown break and she took off from her vacation skiing to see me for an an emergency appointment. I was truly grateful. She also helped me with securing discounts and making a payment plan when I needed a few procedures. Scheduling was simple. Her office is neat and clean with friendly staff. Her hygienists are super excellent as well. Dr. Vo was gentle never hurting me, and explained all procedures. Super caring doctor who takes pride in her work. If I could give Dr. Vo more than 5 stars, I would! I saw her for the first time today after I had to switch from my old dentist because he was no longer in network for me. The last time I saw him he had said I needed 4 fillings. But since he was out of network and it would have cost me an arm and a leg, I decided I needed to get the fillings done by someone else. So I saw Dr. Vo today. She spent a lot of time examining me and determined that my cavities were very small and it would be better to watch them instead of filling them right away. She educated me on how I could keep them clean to make sure they don't get any bigger. I love that she has a very conservative approach to caring for her patients--she isn't the type to do unnecessary procedures and greatly believes in preventative care. She also has a very warm and friendly personality that puts you at ease immediately, and she takes the time to educate you about your health and answer any questions or concerns you may have. As a bonus, she was really thoughtful about my financial situation as a young recent college grad and sent me off from my appointment with zero charge whatsoever. I had such a good experience with her--way better than any other dentist I've seen before! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist. I thought I liked my dentists before, but never knew a dentist could be so truly wonderful! :) read more

Every staff member working in Dr. Vo's clinic is professional. Dr. Vo herself is an awesome dentist, she is professional, patient, and most importantly, honest. She never tried to sell me unneeded treatments (unlike some clinics). Brooke, the hygienist, is great, too. MariaHelena, receptionist, is very courteous. read more

Not only was the receptionist super nice and extremely helpful and thorough, but the dentist was very attentive and kind and he took the time to explain everything he was doing. Dr Vo put in two crowns in 2010 and messed up my bite for life. She put in the crowns and then kept shaving them off. I had two teeth that touched in my bite when she was done. I started slurring my words and spitting when I talked. She tried to convince me that I needed to learn to chew differently by chopping my teeth together. I went to Sokalowsky but he was in on it. Don't have Dr Vo work directly on you teeth. Have her assistants do it. I have proof from a prosthdontist that this is the case. I have since had a dentist back East replace those crowns and from that got 80% of my bite back. Why so long to report it? Life got in the way, other dentists didn't want to mess with it, and insurance wouldn't cover it for a number of years. Good luck at Dr Vo! You will need it! read more

I agree with all the reviews!!! Dr Vo & her staff are great! She goes above & beyond to make sure you get the very best care. I had totally forgot about my appointment--even though the office calls the day before to confirm. They called me when I didn't show up & was able to squeeze me in an hour after my scheduled appointment. Dr Vo explains everything step by step & it doesn't even hurt when she gives you a shot! It's amazing! My hygienist, Brooke is wonderful & gives you the best cleaning & Carmen the dental assistant is also fabulous. THE BEST dental office ever! read more

The first time I saw her, I had a cavity to fill, but she let me know that it was ok to wait a few months to help with insurance. I wasn't happy with my long time dentist in Costa Mesa & wanted a change & asked a friend of mine who is very picky who her dentist was ... she recommended Dr Vo. I made my appt right away & was SO happy I did ! She is really nice - you can tell she cares & she did SUCH a great job with my teeth. My husband switched too and is so happy he did. I've been going to dr vo for years last crown she did for me was cemented crooked she adjusted my bite over a year later it still hurts at the spot where it's crooked she will not admit to it being crooked, she will not fix her mistake probably because she will lose chair time over something she should've done right in the first place. Guess its more important to her for her patient to have pain for the rest of their life! she over charged me by over $100 I only found out because I opened the statement from my insurance when I called the office I spoke to Maria Elena who told me dr vo was keeping the money as a credit on my account. Did they call me & ask me if that was ok??? No they did not. So unethical!! I feel like she was going to steal $100+ from me. The whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth. Yes I used to feel she was a good dentist but this experience has left me not trusting her. And a molar crown she did a few years ago was left with an open contact huge food trap. With so many dentists out there I will never go back to dr vo You know the last time I was in the office earlier this year for teeth cleaning they were talking to another patient about an over payment that was a credit on their account. I feel this is her normal business practice. She wouldn't even come see me after my teeth cleaning she sent the other dr to check me knowing full well I wasn't happy with my $450 crown!!! Guess she needed my $$$ so she could open the offices next to her practice. All the other reviews posted she must've not tried to steal $$$ from them. read more
