I booked a Glow pedi and Glow mani with GelX extensions. My pedicure was first and Sokly did an amazing job. I told her I was going to get gel extensions and she offered to go find the matching gel polish color to match my pedi color. She was so sweet and fun to talk with. Linh did my Gel X extensions and she is amazing! She even mixed a custom base color for my nails and then hand painted on the red tips which was unbelievable to me. They look so perfect. My first time coming to this nail salon. Decided to try it cause it had good reviews and I was too far from my usual place. I was greeted by the front desk girl and she was super helpful with picking colors and ideas. Tommy did my gel fill he was quite but worked quick maybe too quick. The trouble was when I left. Next day I saw a bubble underneath my polish on my thumb then day 2 I woke up to a chip and the polish was peeling back. By the end of that day 50% of the polish chipped off. Day 3 I came back to have it fixed which they did without hesitation but I can tell by looking at my nails the remaining nails are poorly done as well. read more

Pretty rundown looking inside for such a high-end location in Iron Works. Friendly receptionist who immediately directs me to use hand sanitizer. Then, after I pick my polish, she proceeds to seat me at a manicure booth with a filthy and disgusting plexiglass divider! Dried out droplets and other gunk all over it.She should probably consider making sure the place is as tidy and clean as she expects the paying customers to be. Manicurist seemed to have done a decent job but it is only two days in - I see some areas that might peel up so I may have to adjust my rating one way or the other. Midway through my manicure my guy gets up and helps someone who got a pedicure put her shoes back on. So he handles the bottoms of her shoes and then comes right back to me and doesn't wash hands or Purell. And he either had a toe nail clipping or some leftover rice clinging to the front of his shirt the entire time. Also, no mechanism to tip when paying by credit card. read more

This is a really nice place, but I've had 2 bad experiences here. First I went in for a pedicure, it went well, but a day later I looked at my feet and there was still dead skin, unacceptable. Then I went back to get my nails done, give them another chance, my mistake. I was taken in 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Then you'll see a picture of size and shape I requested vs. what I actually got. Don't recommend, only gave 2 stars because the woman who did my feet (not well) was sweet. The one star goes to the receptionist that tried her best to accommodate me. I came in with nails needing a new set. My nails were not soaked off, instead yanked off. I was sat with Tommy to get my new set. After being there for an hour, all I had was my tips on my nails shaped horribly. I stated that every nail was shaped differently and didn't look good. It also wasn't the shape I had asked for. I made sure to say something before the acrylic was put on. Tommy then started getting verbally aggressive with me loud and stated someone else can do my nails... I was very polite and did not appreciate the tone I was given. It was my first time and last time at vogue. When I was sat with someone else , she stated my nails looked fine how he had them ... I wish I would've taken a picture. I then just had them take the tips off, was charged a removal and left. I spent almost 2 hours and walked out upset and with no nails. Overall, the place disappointed me and I have never been treated this terribly getting my nails done. Tommy should not be a nail tech with an attitude like that. read more

This nail salon is high quality! It was one of my go-to salons before Covid, and I recently visited for the first time since Covid. They're always very clean, and especially now they are taking a lot of precautions including a Covid questionnaire prior to arrival, temperature checks, and washing hands right when you check in. Staff was all wearing masks and the manicure stations have plastic barriers between the manicurist and the customer. The inside of the salon is very spacious with lush decor. It's a fancier salon than your typical nail place. With that, it's a littler pricier, but worth it. I usually get a traditional manicure and pedicure, but they have a whole menu of offerings including specialty mani pedis and other spa services. You can book your appointments online, which is another nice feature. Can't wait to go back again soon! read more

Normally, I love this nail salon and think they do an amazing job but I had a horrible experience last time. They booked my friend and I an appointment for 6pm then proceeded to act so put off that we were there at 6pm when they were the ones who booked it! One of us was supposed to get a pedicure and a manicure and they told us they couldn't do both. They didn't start the nails until 6:20, which makes no sense if they wanted to get out of there before 7. If they didn't pout around for 20 minutes, we would have done much earlier. It was so uncomfortable and we kept getting passed from person to person who acted so annoyed to even be there. It was extremely uncomfortable. Horrible experience, completely unprofessional and unwelcoming staff. Owner was very apologetic of my experience and more than made up for it by giving me an amazing service with a good discount. I can't recommend Tommy enough. His attention to detail is unreal! read more

I've gone to Vogue twice now--once for SNS/dip powder, and once for a combo pedicure and SNS/dip powder. I had a great experience both times. To start, this salon is kept immaculately clean, which is always such a good sign. It's also well ventilated, so you don't get the heavy chemical scents of acetone, nail polish, and cleaning supplies lingering in the air which is great for me and for the technicians. Their technicians are really skilled, and my nails have come out beautifully both times I've gone. They take their time with the service, making sure each fingernail is shaped perfectly with the dip powder (not all salons do this well!) and making sure you're really pampered with the pedicure. Plus, the last time I went, the owner was so accommodating. She added on a last minute pedicure and did both my nails and pedi herself. I ended up being the last person in the salon (leaving around 7:30pm after both services), but I never felt rushed. She was meticulous and patient. Thanks Vogue! I use to go here on a regular basis when I lived over in keystone, and thought the work was decent but knew they were a bit pricier. I recently booked an appt for my friend and I for protein powder manis. Our apt was at 3:15 and I don't think a technician came to start my nails until almost 3:45- it was fine because my friend was getting her nails done and we were catching up. Then when the technician comes to do mine he asks that I move to the other part of the salon where I won't even see my friend. I said no because I had purposely booked the appts together to catch up- there were plenty of open chairs around us. Apparently the nail technicians whose spot that was wanted to go back there- even though there were plenty of open seats, but it wouldn't have allowed me to talk to my friend. You could tell that pissed the technician off because she came to get her stuff from her drawers and she was in a pissy mood. I felt awkward about the whole situation, but honestly the salon knew I was there with a friend why didn't they put us somewhere else to begin with? Anyways I got black with gold sparkles on my ring finger on each hand- it was $53 dollars! I thought that was pretty pricey. This is where I'm really annoyed though, two days later my thumb nail chips and then a second nail cracks! I hadn't even hit my nails, a bit ridiculous after only two days. I go back and they fix my two nails but tell me that the crack is my fault...not sure how since I hadn't hit anything. I was happy they fixed it but then two days later the other thumb chipped as well as my pointer finger! Once again I have done nothing crazy with my nails, and powder should lay for two-three weeks. I don't live nearby the salon so that's why I haven't gone back to see if they would fix the new chips, even if they would what a pain! I won't be coming back to this salon. Oh I see that they serve drinks, but they also didn't offer anything to my friend and I. **Update 1/9/19- the owner of the company reached out to me to apologize for the experience I had at the salon. She mentioned that the person who did my nails no longer works there and asked me to come back in for another dip manicure. I did not expect to be contacted, but appreciate that she did reach out. Mixed feelings about this place. I've been 4 times this year and this last visit Saturday June 29, was AWFUL. It's been super service prior to now!! The guy placed me and my daughter in the corner with our backs to the salon room like in timeout. We were early (last visit they changed the appt time on me therefore making it seem we were "late" so not sure online booking is truly accurate) and trying to pick out a color and were rushed. The lady doing my daughter's nails was sweet and friendly! The guy doing mine was rude & kept asking if I wanted a design, asked me 3x. Then after bleeding, the monomer burned but hey, part of it I guess. Next, he filed my fingers which are still sore 3 days later. He didn't follow the nail process with me washing my hands so grits of nail dust are in my nails now. Gel polish is gross, nails are "stiletto" when I asked for oval and then I was rudely kicked out of the chair for his next client! Again, everyone was super nice and now I'm really happy with my nails. Will definitely be going back. I had been dying to get my nails done and a friend suggested Vogue Nail Spa. I checked out their Instagram and was blown away by how great the nails looked. So yesterday I booked an appointment to get a dip manicure during my lunch. Everyone I interacted with was super nice and the salon itself is super cute and has a chic but cozy vibe to it. The person who did my nails seemed to be in quite a hurry. She was really rough on my cuticles and they were sore and bleeding when I left. My nails are also not the shape I asked for and they aren't shaped evenly. The dip is way thicker than I've ever had it before and I kinda feel like I have horse hooves. I'm definitely disappointed in the experience but I'm thinking I will try them out again and this time try to get in with Sue since it looks like her nails are the ones mostly featured on their Instagram page. read more

This place is fantastic! It feels luxurious, is well decorated, and impeccably clean. I had never tried the SNS dipping powder before, and decided to give it a try. Sue walked with through options, and encouraged me to do the powder over my natural nail without a tip to let my nails grow. She did a lovely job. I really liked this place and will absolutely return. Update: went back for a second time and am happy again with the dip powder. It was quick and easy to remove. Angie did my nails this time. I went with a specific color and design in mind (dark brown with chrome). I looked through most of the colors but was unable to find a color I wanted so I showed the staff exactly what I wanted. They also were unable to find a similar color and any colors they found that looked remotely close in the bottle looked nothing similar to what it ended up looking like on the nail. Staff were patient with me as I tried to find a color I wanted but it was very frustrating. BEWARE THAT EVERY COLOR ON THE SAMPLES LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE COLOR IT WILL BE ON YOUR NAILS. I just moved to the area and have been looking for a go to nail spot. This is one that a friend of mine recommended so why not! I can only speak to the no chip manicure as it was all I had time for that day. I called in the morning of, and asked if they would have time over lunch time (because they are located so close to my office), and they were able to get me in! The lady who did my nails was super friendly and polite. It wasn't the fanciest of salons, but it's cute and appeared clean. Again, I didn't get a pedicure so I can't speak for that section of the salon. My no chip has been on for a week and they still look great so I have no complaints on their work! I have been to countless nail salons and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Booked a mani/pedi with design for 2 people. Had the appointment and details confirmed twice by whoever called me from the salon. When I arrived they said they didnt realize another person was coming in. then they proceeded to tell us they couldnt do design. The place was dirty. A man filed and painted my nails and left them a complete mess despite me asking him to clean up the goops of gel polish under the nails. He said I was done and then they tried to charge me $100 for the horrendous job. The receptionist said she would "clean it up" and after scraping and recoating My friend and I left with very poor work done. My usual nail salon was booked solid all through December, and I wanted some Christmas nails. I looked up other local salons who do Apres Gel X, as it is gentler on your nails than acrylic. Vogue came up as one. I looked them up and saw they still had day-of appointments (on a Saturday), so I booked. The online options are not very clear about acrylic vs gel nails, but I just chose full set with gel color. When I got there, I was promptly greeted by a friendly receptionist who checked me in. As I was browsing the colors, they were rather disorganized and not separated by gel and lacquer, so you had to pay attention. Also, some of the bottles looked old. They also had booklets on the counter of gel colors (what I chose from), and I saw my tech pull those from a separate cabinet. She led me back to my spot. The plexiglass divider between me and her looked dirty and should be cleaned. Otherwise the place had a clean, upscale look (which it should if it's going to be in Ironworks). The lady who did my nails was very sweet and friendly, and just the right amount of talkative. I realized as she pulled the drill out, I was getting acrylic (again no options differentiating on the website). Oh well. My nails were gonna be weakened for a bit, but they'll recover. I would suggest calling and asking about Apres Gel or nail art, because the options online don't really show that, but I know they do nail art. I did a medium length coffin-shaped nail with a glitter coat over my color for Christmas festiveness. She did a good job and shaped them nicely. She was very appreciative when I tipped her. While I think I'll stick to my usual salon when I can get in, this place overall is decent and I will consider them again as a back-up. read more

This is not my go-to salon, I only came here because I received a gift card for a manicure/pedicure. With that said, I made an appointment online and even picked a specific nail tech, but upon arrival, they couldn't find my appointment for 10 mins....seems weird to me that you have a system that doesn't work seamlessly when you encourage people to make appointments via online website. Anyway, she found my appointment, but I still had to wait 15 mins. They have a lot of colors but I feel like they're pushing dip because it took me forever to find the regular gel colors, every time I picked up the sample ring of nail colors, I was told "that's dip, not gel". The nail tech that I picked while scheduling my appointment was not who I received at the salon...I told my nail tech the shape that I wanted and although it was close, my nails looked ginormous like she had painted my full fingertip. This is the best pedicure I've had in years. I opted for the traditional pedi, and was very impressed. The technician was very meticulous with my service, taking time to scrub and buff my feet to perfection. After that, she rubbed warm lotion on my legs and massaged both my legs and feet, then wrapped my legs with warm towels. If this was the service just for a basic pedi, I can't wait to try something more. I was able to schedule an appointment for the same day, and walked right in. I've been into Vogue Nail Spa twice and both times, my experience has been kind of off. On my most recent trip, my mom had made an appointment for she and I to get manicures and pedicures together. She requested specific nail technicians. However, upon arrival, they only had our appointment listed as one person. In addition to that, the technicians that we requested were not available. They brought us back for our pedicure and sat us down. We sat for awhile on the pedicure chairs before anyone came to greet us or even start our water. Since we were already in our chair, it was also difficult to maneuver around us to put in the plastic lining of the pedicure bowl and generally just wasn't relaxing. They started on my lavender pedicure, but even halfway into my pedicure, my mom hadn't been started on. The lavender pedicure was a nice upgrade. The smell was relaxing and calming, and the exfoliating salts left my legs and feet smooth as can be. Following my pedicure, I was switched to a different technician for my manicure. The manicure mostly turned out well. However, there were a few concerns I had. For instance, she didn't have me wash my hands (everyone else asked their clients to wash their hands) to remove the stickiness of the lotions and treatments they applied and help the polish cling to your nail and last longer. When my mom joined me for her manicure, she too was switched to a different technician. She was sat next to me-- for a few moments. They started on buffing and filing her nails, but then moved her to another location, which was rather annoying. Not only is it not relaxing to have to move in the middle of your manicure, but now she was not sat next to me. Our intention had been to spend time together while I was in town. As far as my treatment and polish, I was happy with how they turned out. No complaints here. However, the unorganized staff made everything feel frantic and stressful, rather than relaxing. read more

I absolutely love this nail salon. I have been going for years and enjoy the service I receive. They have a wide variety of services from facials to lash extensions and everything in between. I love the Pearl Pedicure they offer and the mini facial. I recently started getting dip on my nails and my nail tech Kim did a great job at smoothing out the powder and explaining the benefits of dip verses colored acrylic, especially for my fragile nails. When I called they were able to get our appointments set up together for a time that worked great with our schedule. We did 5:15 and got there at 5:10. The girl checked us in then disappeared for a while without saying anything. She got us set up to soak our feet and it was over a half hour before someone came over. She asked my friend which pedicure she wanted, but didn't ask me and just started. I was really excited to try the honey one, but this didn't happen. They didn't offer any color options for me as a guy with either service which was kind of surprising. The manicure started in the pedi chair by the same girl. Had to lean over the chair so she could get to me and it was pretty uncomfortable. Finish the manicure in a station while my friend was across the salon. It was my first manicure so I was super excited and nervous. When we were done my hands still felt dry and I had needed to get some stragglers when I got home. The girl who checked us in came over for payment mid manicure. My hands were wrapped in a warm towel and she comes over with a laptop and goes, "ready to pay?" I laughed because I assumed it was a joke as my hands were not usable at the moment, sadly she just stared back. I even said this is so uncomfortable for me because me hands were warm and moist for the towel, didn't deter her! No option to tip with their payment process - so bring cash if you want to! Unfortunately a tenant of such low quality is permitted in such a high end complex. Had much higher standards for the iron works complex. read more
