Really appreciate Volt Electric. They helped hook up a sauna for me. This requires an electrician to hard wire the sauna (hot tub requires the same) and provide a shut off switch. The installer did it in a very smart way. I was afraid that the sauna conduit would leave the sauna further away from the wall than I wanted. Because the workers would need to be behind the sauna to hook up the sauna. But Mike used a flexible conduit hose for that part! Very smart. That way I could push the sauna closer to the wall when he was done. Also Mike was able to put the sauna shut off switch directly on my electric panel which I think is better. I had an induction range installed 15 months ago. Nick, from Volt Electric, installed a dedicated 240V 40amp circuit. I had two other quotes from electricians recommended by friends. One was clueless, and the other said he would need to cut holes in my ceiling and wall. Nick was the low bidder and said he thought he could do the job without cutting into the ceiling or walls. He did a great job without wall or ceiling damage. He was friendly, fast, and efficient. Just recently, the circuit breaker would randomly trip, even with a light load from the range. Nick stopped by today. He confirmed the current draw from the range was within specification, and after checking the breaker, he determined it was bad and replaced it with a new breaker without charging me anything. No trip charge, no trouble shooting charge, and no charge for the new circuit breaker. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised. It is extraordinary rare to find a tradesman that will do any type of home visit without a charge. I highly recommend Volt Electric and Nick. read more

This is the 2nd time we have used Volt Electric. They did the 220 for our hot tub about a year ago. We had a wonderful experience with them at the time, life just got in the way of me leaving a review. So when we went to run our AC during one of our mini heat waves and it was not pushing out any cold air and found out it was voltage problem we contacted them again. I love that they are responsive over the phone and via text message. We had been quoted $1,600 for new wiring for the AC unit through an AC repair company, Nick's guys determined we didn't need new wiring and were able to fix the problem at a fraction of the cost! I had told them what the previous company had said and they had quoted us lower for the same work already. They could have easily said that was the problem and charged us for the initial quote price, I would never know the difference. I appreciate their honesty and work ethic. Volt was recommended to us by a jacuzzi store. They came out and gave us a quote, but wanted to take a route that was more than dbl the necessary route. When I called to ask for clarification and ask for a break down of the quote into time & material, and I never received a return call or email. Called and spoke the the receptionist first and then emailed a few days later. Very unprofessional. I worked for an electrical contractor for 7 years, and a construction management firm for 5.
