He also recommended cutting the locks since he couldn't make replacement keys, which means I will have to purchase some new bike locks again soon. Regardless, grateful for Jin to provide evening and weekend services! Also, I must say the price Jin charged was still more affordable than other locksmith businesses I contacted, so overall, this was a better value in the end! Plus, Jin was quick to respond via Yelp. Once to get copies of some keys and the second time, to get my high heels repaired. I actually waited a while before bringing my shoes in because they are pricey Salvatore Ferragamo pumps. But having seen him work on other people's shoes and seeing all the equipment he had indicated to me that he was an experienced cobbler. And I am glad I came to him. I had heel tips that needed replacing. Ferragamo actually included extra ones when I bought my shoes so I brought them with me. The price? $7. I'll be back.

We were told that this would cover gas expenses - why take a job that is out of your network? They knew our address well before coming out. Also, some of our intake conversations were over text, so I wish we discussed the job over photos so they knew what we wanted to do in terms of the job and give us a proper quote. Just felt very scammy and weird after them asking for money without starting the job.

I got locked out of my apartment and my dogs were inside and it was late at night and this company was the only company to answer in a friendly matter and make sure I was comfortable and safe. Be careful reaching out to do business with this company. Scary that they would threaten to physically harm a prospective client for respectfully changing their mind about doing business with them. These types of threats are not a joke and not to be taken lightly when it can potentially mean bodily harm to your family and children. We have an old sliding glass door with a broken handle and a loose lock that kept flipping over and locking us in the backyard. We are doing a full remodel next year so we didn't want to spend much to fix this old door. I called Volta and Joe arrived within 30 minutes! Luckily my lady and I had a backup plan to uber home and back with our spare - it would've have cost us a total of $60. I tell this man $260 is ridiculous and that I could only do $150. Here's the kicker. He looks at his phone as if speaking w someone, and settles on $150 IF and only IF I leave a good review. At this point my lady loses her cool and starts cursing out the dude cus of the ridiculous pricing. I realized this was a waste of time and tell him that we're just gonna Uber home instead. This guy had the nerve to ask me to pay for "services". WHAT SERVICE. He bulged my door out with his balloon gizmo and did nothing else. Tried to charge me $50 for him just coming out. Ridiculous. Do not trust these reviews. Do not give these scammers business. Suspiciously just as this guy drove away, a "different" locksmith company called me back, after over an hour mind you, and asked what the issue was. I simply hung up. Decided to take the time to leave this to spare anyone else their time and money. And to help you see behind the lying 5 star reviews. If I could leave negative stars. I would. EDIT 19 hours after posting this review and the same review on google, I get a call from the owner attempting to BRIBE me into taking down the review. I was being nice and respectful until he tried to bribe me and called me disrespectful and dishonest for not agreeing to. After that I lost my temper. What is honest and respectful about hiding the truth? Stay AWAY from these SCAMMERS. He threatened to call me nonstop until I took the review down. On the one hand, they showed up on time and fixed the issue. If the review was just about that, I…read morewould give 5 stars. On the other hand, they were waaaaay overpriced on their original estimate ($750 to fix a broken garage door spring), and then offered a 30% discount "if you have AAA or anything like that", and then when that was still too expensive, they came down again in price. The estimate went from $750+ to the low $400s within 5 minutes. And was still a little high, IMHO. But had I trusted that it really cost $750 to fix it, that's what they would have gladly accepted! When you call in a specialist (plumber, electrician, repairman, etc), aside from wanting the job done right, you want to know that they are being honest and trustworthy when it comes to price. We need to be able to trust people when we don't know the ins and outs of these specialized trades. Telling me that springs are $275 each (when you can buy the same thing at home depot for around $100/pair - I looked it up after the job was done and he told me the brand info), and telling me it's $250 for an hour of time to install (are you a lawyer?), and then telling me that it's another $175 to replace the metal rod that was bent (which, again, is closer to $50 at home depot, and again, the price miraculously came down when I said 'no way!'), doesn't seem like they are attempting to be fair and honest at all. If it wasn't a Saturday afternoon, and if our car wasn't stuck inside the garage, and we had the luxury of time to bring out other people, there's no way I would have worked with them. But once they came down by roughly 50% in price, it was close enough to what I knew the actual price should be, then I decided just to go with it. But bottom line is, if you are looking for an honest price, I would not call these guys. If you're looking for the job to get done properly, in a timely fashion, without concern for price, then I see no harm in calling them. In the end, we paid $650+ for a job that should have been around $300.
