So I had to research more carefully when deciding which plumbing companies to ask. My neighbor had the same issue and recommended Vincent of VIP Plumbing. His company offered free quotes. We spoke on Sunday and he was able to fit me in his schedule the next day. He txted me within the 2 hr window he gave me and arrived before the window ended. Vince immediately knew what the issue was beyond the faulty check valve, he identified that my thermal expansion tank was also broken. He had both parts in his truck so I didn't have to wait for him to come back another day. I also asked him to service our water heater since we never had any official services before. He took about an hr for everything. Left the area clean & tidy before departure. Now we have our hot water back and functioning. I will contact him again for future services. He definitely knows Rinnai tankless water heaters. What a lifesaver! Thanks again. His pricing is comparable to other plumbers with Rinnai expertise claims. My wife and I dollied and manipulated all 137lbs of that bad boy into the garage. Edgar was my tech from Magnificent (He thought it was a "check" vs. "replace"). This could have been a disaster because we are now at New Year's Eve. They typically only do commercial water heater replacement but calls his boss, gets the gren light and because we are loyal customers, discounts the service cost. He tells me he can do it, calls to re-arrange some family plans and just makes it happen! At the end, he noticed a pipe with some carbon monoxide venting which he also fixed. We've used them on several different occasions and it's ALWAYS 5+ stars.

My centralized heater stopped working right during the holidays. Reached out to many over the weekend and Volta not only called back on Monday but also was able to find someone to check the same day late in the evening. James was able to figure out the issue with the blower right away. Discussed the challenges of finding the replacement parts for bit older model like mine and followed up with call in the morning next day with a quote and placed the order. The office promptly scheduled a follow-up as soon as the part arrived on same day late in the evening. James installed the part and discovered that another part was having issues when the system turned on. He tried his best for several hours though it was too late ~8 PM to keep it running at least for the night. Safety first approach and so turned it off. I would say James was bit disappointed as he cared about us having to deal with low temp this whole time. However he was relentless and very next morning found the replacement part, gave me the most fair and reasonable price for tit. Drove to the warehouse himself and came right back and fixed in no time. He went above and beyond to have the heater working on coldest day of the year. Can't ask for more!!!! Great service from James! I needed my AC fixed - the receptionist, Alice, was excellent and gave me appointment options for the next day. Upon my request, she said she'd look for same day appointments, and within a half hour, she called back and we scheduled an appointment for today. James (the technician) texted me when he was on the way. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and replaced our blower capacitor. He offered to replace it and if it didn't solve the problem he wouldn't charge me, that is unheard of these days. It not only fixed the problem he also pointed out the hose for my ice maker was leaking, and for a very small additional charge he fixed it also. I wish all repair people were as professional as Sergey. If you need an appliance repair call them, I highly highly recommend them. I didn't know people like Sergey still existed.

During installation, they ran into several challenges with placement of the new unit and some wiring that needed more attention. They worked through and around them to make everything work out in the end. I really appreciate their flexibility and expertise to navigate all the roadblocks without changing the scope of work. TIP: Measure the space where the unit is going to be placed and make sure the new unit will fit OR that you discuss this before the project starts.

He responded that he doesn't buy the parts himself. So I paid $25 for parts and $435 for 15 minutes of work. Yes, I wish I had gone with another company.
