Very disappointed. Basically, the guy tells me you have an issue with your appliance. I have an oven heating issue, so he basically gives me the science about what is going on, tells me to purchase an oven thermometer to verify the issues and takes his money and I never hear from him again. I think this organization makes their money on just showing up for the appointment getting their money and never hearing from them again when they say they would follow up with me to get the problem solved. Mike was responsive to my messages and arrived on time. He looked at the dishwasher and started googling what was the issue. He said it might be x or y or z and gave me few reasons my dishwasher lights were blinking. Then we went about the water leak. He looked below the dishwasher, saw where the water was leaking and confidently said 'friend you need to get a new dishwasher' as the part leaking needed to be replaced and is no longer produced by manufacturer. In 20 mins without doing anything more than googling and looking below my dishwasher - he said i need a new one. He also suggested i call manufacturer for recall. He kept look at his watch as if he was late to somewhere. Oh yeah and that'll be $145 btw!!! For incorrect advise that would have cost me over $1000. I looked up a solution on youtube, and replaced a small valve that cost $5 on amazon. My dishwasher is back up and running without any leaks. I have never fixed dishwashers, but was able to repair it in 10 minutes. My time, money and energy is wasted. I had a similar experience with the other reviewer, Jimil P. He looked at the dishwasher, took some pictures of the unit, turned it on/off, googled the issue, showed me the parts that I needed to buy, and showed a diagnostic result that gave me a reason to get a new dishwasher because the repair would cost me around $1,300 (parts and labor). He didn't even look below the dishwasher since there was baseboard covering the bottom part, that's understandable, but why did he confidently tell me what the issue was without really opening and looking below the dishwasher? And yes I paid $145 for incorrect advice. I didn't have peace of mind with his diagnosis, something was off. I decided to contact the other guy from a different business. This guy came and couldn't look below my dishwasher as well, but he didn't charge anything. He is FAIR! To make the story short, I managed to open the covering below the dishwasher and had the guy come back to give another diagnosis. It turned out the dishwasher was totally repairable at a reasonable cost (parts and labor). I saved a lot of money. He also suggested I call the manufacturer for recall. My POINT is: Please be FAIR. Don't charge anything if he couldn't really take a proper diagnostic. I do not recommend this business. It is better to take your money elsewhere who knows what they are doing. read more

I called Mike to troubleshoot and fix my Samsung washer. He seemed very busy so we scheduled a time a bout a week later from my initial contact. He was right on time, very courteous. Nice person to work with. He played with various settings, took photo of the parts underneath the washer and explained that the voltage going to the drain clutch is coming in at 100V (therefore no issue with control board but with the drain clutch) and he felt that was still sufficient. He charged $145 for the visit. I believe he spent about 40 ~ minutes. He later sent me the estimate. It would be ~ $455 to replace the clutch. So that would be $310 with the credit for the visit fee. He did mention there is 90% chance that will fix the issue. If not, the main control board will have to be fixed for $310. Being fairly handy myself, I decided to replace the clutch myself. The part is ~$90 and it was very easy to replace. It took me about 30 min including the time to tilt the washer, etc. For someone who has done it before, it would take about 10 minutes... So I think the price $455 seems way high to replace the clutch. But the thing is that after replacing the clutch the washer spinning still did not work. So I applied the 120 voltage to the old clutch, and it seems to be working fine... :) So it's not the clutch after all. I think what Mike should have done is to spend a bit more time during the visit to ensure that the clutch was really the problem or not. read more

After speaking with Mike on the phone and corresponding via email, I can say without a doubt Mike values his business and his name. Service was fine and prompt, but the policy, stated in an email, was misleading. Mike said the minimum charge was $75. That is fine; I don't expect anyone to make a call for free. Here's the problem: What he didn't say was that he would add $75 EXTRA onto your bill, in addition to the labor. What?? That's not at all the same as saying it's a minimum charge--that's an ADDITIONAL charge. I heard from Mike, who called. The problem is, he keeps on trying to justify adding $75 more to the bill, in addition to the labor. When asked why, he responded, "This is how I do it with all my customers. The minimum charge is $75." I believe this is more of a communication problem than anything else. I do NOT think Mike is a dishonest person. He appears to honestly think that adding $75 to the labor is okay, and that is the same as "minimum charge." read more

He's a nice guy (2 stars nice), but don't waste your time and money. My stated problem: Leaking dishwasher. Diagnosis procedure: 1) He turned on dishwasher for ~3 minutes. 2) Looked under dishwasher with a flashlight. Didn't see the leak in 3min Recommended remediation: Put a cleaning tablet in the dishwasher...oh and pay him $105 for the visit Yep, that was literally it. And no, the cleaning tablet did nothing and my dishwasher was still leaking a 1/2 gallon of water per cycle. There were dozens of things he could have done to diagnose the leak but chose to do none of them. He chalked it up to using dish soap when rinsing (which we don't do) or hard water buildup (it's a 3yr old dishwasher + we have a water softener). I had another company come out, spend 40 minutes diagnosing, identify the issue (loose water float), and make the fix all for $79 read more

I would not recommend this service despite 4-5 star reviews. We requested a repair of our dishwasher. The technician was there for about 10 minutes and left saying it was not worth it for him to fix the issue. We are out of $125 now with nothing fixed. Emailed him, he called back within an hour, came out the next day - very quick! Said I was in luck, leak was caused a combination of too much detergent's bubbles interfering with a water sensor (weird), and some built up grim. Recommended maintenance ideas and a cleaning agent. I just called to consult about the issue with my refrigerator and wanted to ask the price guideline and the available schedule. the very first conversation that I started with was 'Hello, I'm calling to check the price information', and then after a few seconds of silence, the other party responded 'One forty-five'. He replaced the bad fan motor and our fridge is whisper quiet now.
