Three outlets in my bedroom stopped working all of a sudden, while one outlet worked. I tried troubleshooting myself for a couple of days, looked up YouTube videos, changed out outlets, etc. to no avail. Decided to send out a request for quotes and Voltyx got back to me quickly. Dryer repair - I sent out a bid to a bunch of places on yelp and ultimately picked these folks because they had the cheapest diagnostics fee (which was applied towards the repair) and could come the soonest. They were also one of the fastest to respond! Win win! Maxim arrived onsite on time and finished everything in ~20min and was very polite and made sure to show me it was fixed and heat was coming from it. Exceptionally, excellent service. I posed an issue with my newly installed swimming pool motor that suddenly continued to cease functioning after a few seconds of running. The pool Vendor stated that it was a circuit breaker that required an electrician to fix. Voltyx (Timur) was called and immediately began to professionally assess the situation. He quickly determined that the existing circuit breakers were fine, stating that any further issue would be outside an electrician's scope, as it related to the pool function. Acknowledging the paradox, he volunteered to step out of the traditional electrician' paradigm, and immediately began diagnosing the pool's 20 year old multi-wired timer box. He tested each wire until he determined the functioning from the not, until he was able to get the pool motor to work non-stop. Then, within 4 hours he did a beautiful, if not artistic, job of totally replacing the old timer and secondary circuit breaker with highly professional, single wire box to motor, easy to use equipment. I'm very satisfied with the service performed. They have a good system of sending automated messages when the appointment is scheduled and when they are on the way. They showed up a bit earlier than I expected and pro-actively started working on the problem. They replaced the faulty switch and transformer on my fixture but when the lights were still not working still they immediately went into troubleshooting mode. I really appreciated them trying to figure out the loose connection on the fixture. They eventually came up with a creative solution that fixes the design flaw in the fixture. First, I have to say that the problem that I had in my house was not conventional. A part of the house lost power and the other part was totally OK! I called VOLTYX and they answered the phone right away, which is rare nowadays. After explaining the urgent nature of the problem to Timur, he booked me a time the next day. Oleg, the technician, showed up on time and he worked two hours to troubleshoot the problem. He found that the way the lines were run created a short circuit and that to solve the problem, we need to re-run these lines and add a new braker. He asked me to find a time on Saturday because this work will take a long time. On Saturday, he showed up with another technician Jim and they worked for almost the whole day. Finally, the problem was fixed, and power was restored to my house. During the work, they added a few GFCI outlets in many areas of the house and in the garage.
