Have used Vons several times now. They are patient in understanding my needs and have been quite educational on-site. Have no problems with their professionalism. Do not forget to ask about pricing concerns up front (ie is the time it takes to get from vons to your site included in the pricing etc... - some of the poorer reviews on Yelp are from undereducated customers who haven't done their due diligence). I have recommended this company to friends and family, all who have been satisfied. As always, if you have an issue, just call them. They'll make it right. read more

Vons installed an outside outlet in 2015. It stopped working 4/15/18. I thought it might be due to moisture so I checked to see if it had popped. I pressed down on the button as hard as i could and nothing. Today, an electrician from Vons comes out and uses the prong on the cord from what I had plugged in to "Pop" it and then it worked. Time involved-5 minutes. Von's charged me for a full hour $100. I would never think to use a pointed piece of metal to press on the button in an outlet. I am very disappointed with them. Had a missed call from this number. Called back to see who it was and what they do. Both my wife and I handle all house related things, so you never know, and a call to assess if anything needs to be handled or has been scheduled is not unreasonable. The woman I spoke with was very unprofessional and sarcastic. She apparently assumed I should already know everything about their company and did not even attempt to help determine if the call to me was intentional, or simply apologize for calling the wrong number. It does not take much effort to be polite. read more

And your level of professionalism is shown by responding to this important matter in a Yelp review rather than following up over the phone? Liz your receptionist told me 120 dollars (not 120 an hour). She did seem to be in a hurry so maybe she was just trying to hurry me off the phone since I did have questions. I know this because I simply would have not booked the work knowing this price would be more than double of other electricians I called in the area. Even if Liz did tell me the cost was 120 an hour she also said the work should take less than an hour. Jamie was certainly not at our home for over 2 hours. It's very sad that the electrician also flat out lied about not carrying the fan out of the hose. I was grateful that he did help me because I have 2 babies under 16 months at home ( one of them being a newborn). I wouldn't have been able to carry the fan outside if I wanted to. That's sad he had to lie about it. Now I have a crushed fan and damage to my back bumper which will cost me even more money now. I know the truth and it's just sad to know that we chose to go with a local, family owned business(because we genuinely like supporting businesses of the like) and this is how we are being treated. I'm not sure what reviews you saw of mine on Yelp but clearly you didn't read all of them. Like most people I'm busy and don't have the time to sit around and write reviews. Typically it is the bad news that travels fast but I do have plenty of good reviews written on Yelp. Looks like you need to ask someone more reliable to check my yelp review history. If you ever decide to step up to the plate and actually give me a call to settle this matter that would be greatly appreciated. I'm a real estate agent at a large brokerage and I always love finding and spreading the word about a solid family owned business to my co workers and clients. It would be great if we could come to a mutual agreement and settle this matter like hard working, trustworthy adults should. read more

Vons electric has put an Kohler generator for our house. Their service is impeccable their technicians are well-trained could not ask for anymore. The Kohler generator has been the best investment I've ever made in the house. our power goes out constantly and this has saved us many many times and paid for itself twice over now. read more

The power suddenly went out in two of our bedrooms. We tried everything we knew, and then called Vons. I spoke with Denver on the phone and he very helpfully suggested a couple more things to look for and try before scheduling an appointment to come out. Only positive I can share about our experience is the they were on time. From the very beginning they gave me the perception they were not happy to assemble our ceiling fan. I am not mechanical and wanted it assembled correctly. When they turned it on, within seconds it started to smoke and you could smell something burning. First thing electrician shared was "it was not my fault". I thought it a rather strange response. It turned out to be a costly adventure for us as were were charged for the entire time they were here with no working fan when they left. No offer of We are sorry or a discount on the bill or perhaps stating when you get a new fan, we can come and install it. That would have gone a long way to keep a customer who could then recommend Vonn in the future. Unfortunately they lost us. read more

Vons Electric has been known as a solution to all my husband's "tried to do" projects. The guys are exceptionally nice, kind and accurate. I've used them on multiple occasions and each employee is beyond accommodating. I needed flood lights to enhance my patio for a new puppy and Denver came with great recommendations which I never thought of doing. Anthony came out recently to fix a bathroom outlet that my husband tried to fix but eventually broke but Vons Electric came to the rescue again. Outside lights not working and Vons Electric was able to detect a short in one of the feature that could of lead to a fire. All around great family company to work with for all electrical needs. We are very thankful for the quick response by Von's Electric when a tree came down on our house and it ripped the main power right off of the house. They arrived within 30 minutes of my husband calling them and were at our house before 7 am. They replaced the main line to our house and our electric meter. They worked quickly and professionally. They inspected everything to make sure no damaged wires or electrical issues were left. They were fast, professional and very kind to us. I really felt a sense of relief knowing that everything was repaired and that despite the devastation to our home our electricity was back on before 11 am and that includes the city coming back out and reconnecting our home to the utility pole! They did a GREAT job and I would hire them again in a heartbeat!! read more
