This Vons is the best. It is pricey sometimes depends on what you get. But I'm paying for the best customer service Ever! I love Judy in the Deli very nice and quick. MaryLou, Amiee and the rest of the gang in the Pharmacy are all ways super helpful and kind. Never have a problem with them. Cashiers are great, so friendly they greet me everytime I come in. Usually 4 times a day because I have no life. The general manager is cool, he gives a big donation to my son's school. Jim is also cool guy, so are the other managers, and key carriers. Dairy deli guy is funny and nice. The deli is stocked and fresh. Just like the bakery. I've never was unable to find a product there. They all ways have what I need. Roberta in Deli was super helpful. MANAGEMENT!!!! you need to give this girl a raise. This was the 5th vons I've been too looking for a specific olive. All of the other vons around this area were not helpful at all. I explained to Roberta the situation. You can tell she actually cared. The olives I wanted were not out for picking so she stopped what she was doing and physically went in the back and opened up some fresh ones for me. She also put them in the large cup too. Never in my life have I experienced customer service like that. Fast, friendly and compassionate. This VONS is awesome for many of the same reasons other reviewers have stated - it is very clean, organized with a super friendly and very helpful staff. I visit this location once or twice a week and with every visit I am asked if I need help finding something at least 2-3 times. My only criticism is in that they do not carry some items that I used to buy at Albertson's on a regular basis - like light minute maid OJ for example, so I still need to visit other stores. I did inquire on whether this store might be able to carry the products I was looking for - one of the employees took down my name and number, did some searching around for me and called me to let me know that they were unable to carry those items. I went back today for the first time in five months since Melissa in the gas station store was so awful to me. Wouldn't you know it she was there again. I bought $20 in snacks and gas too and she doesn't even say hi she lectures me on how I parked. I can not believe that Vons keeps her working there with such a terrible attitude . The service around the store is great. The employees are always friendly and helpful. This is what happens all through out the store... Except at the Deli department. I love their sandwiches but it's always like pulling teeth. No one ever wants to go make them! I always end up waiting forever for someone to help. Like another reviewer noted: they always say they will be right with you while walking away. They could at least call someone else to help. I understand they could be busy with other tasks. There are 2 gentlemen in particular who always have attitude: Manuel and another heavyset man. Avoid them at all costs! Everyone else is nice just not willing to help when you want a sandwich. Just went to Vons for the first time. Only needed a couple of things but couldn't find an over the counter drug. Since I was standing in front of the pharmacy I thought I would ask the pharmacist where it was. Big mistake. I stood at the counter by myself fo 3 minutes with no acknowledgement from the two people working 5 ft away. I then said "excuse me" and was told they would help me when they got a chance. Bakery Review: Wow...very impressed! I was hesitant to order cakes from Vons since it was a party for my mom's 70th bday party. I went a few days ahead and bought a single slice of carrot cake just to taste the quality. It was delicious, so I decided to go ahead and order. I went in and Alyssa helped me. Extremely accommodating, was able to create a theme that was not in their sample book and helped me order the perfect amount of cake for 60 people. Everyone at the party raved about the cakes...they were delicious (they thought they were home baked). Now workers walk past you without an acknowledgement let alone offering to help you with anything. The women in the floral department act like you're bothering them when you ask a question and they ignore you. I've been going here since Vons Gas station opened. My family shops at Vons so we always get discounts for gas. The only problem with this location is the traffic. Depending on the time and day you might have to wait awhile. It can be frustrating when your in a hurry. read more

This is the best gas station. It always has the best gas prices. Even before the discount if you have points from shopping in the store. I hear people say that cheap gas is not as good but I think that is all a myth. I track my mileage and I know that I get just as good mileage with Von's gas and any other gas station. read more

This is the worst vons ever. The bakery is a mess, they are making cakes, pastries, etc. and not wearing gloves. Checkers so busy talking to baggers, nothing gets done. I dropped a $100 bill somewhere in the store. I assumed it was gone, but I called anyway. Yes, the cashier turned it in. They would not accept any cash and said it saved them an issue in accounting. There was this extremely rude Vons worker named Karen that raised her voice when me and my friends asked a very simple question for clarification on a sign. Her extremely rude and unprofessional actions mad me and my friends VERY uncomfortable and unwelcome at the store. She and another associate had spoken to us with such unnecessary anger and rudeness that we can no longer see ourselves coming to this store. Karen also aggressively grabbed the baguette from my hand without even listening to the entirety of my question. In addition to this, I had mentioned my hearing impairments because I couldn't hear what she was saying which seemed to have just made her angrier. I'm sorry if I can't hear Karen but, it is not my choice. Speaking of my hearing impairment, that shows even more that she was yelling at us seeing that even I could tell they were being exceptionally loud. I can only imagine what it must've sounded like to other customers to hear such unprofessionalism and unkind words to a bunch of teenagers who were just trying to get some clarification. Not only this but while I was waiting in line to pay for my groceries, I had to sit and wait for a good 4-5 minutes as the customer who had completed her purchase sat and continued to gossip with Karen. Karen egged on the conversation with this customer knowing full well that I was waiting in line and that she was still on the clock. I was not aware that Vons associates also get paid for gossiping. This Vons is amazing! The courtesy clerks are all so sweet and helpful. Its very clean and everything is laid out nicely. And my favorite, the restrooms are always very clean! They also have a great sushi bar :) Dont get me started on their starbucks!! I am absolutely spoiled with their drinks. I wont even go to another starbucks anymore. I love this store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I wasn't thrilled with the remodel, but the way that the store is arranged now makes more sense.
