Yes, it's in crime infested Pomona but it's not deep into Pomona enough to be terrible yet. This is a great liquor store! They stock a HUGE selection of craft beer. Easily more selection than your typical liquor store. Lot's of the beer they have are from smaller & local breweries. I also like to buy Super Lotto tickets here. Because.... if I ever win, I want this place to get a piece of the action. Never buy your lottery tickets at big name gas stations (AM/PM), corporate stores (BevMo), or places like 7-11. Avoid them. Always get your lottery tickets, liquor, cigarettes etc, from a small independent place like this liquor store! Always support the little guys, not the big guys. That's what keeps America going! As with being inside any liquor store, always be aware of your surroundings. You don't want to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and.. it's always best to go in the daytime if possible not late at night. I recommend this liquor store because they have such an excellent (and large) selection of craft beer, historical building and location, their own parking lot, and the neighborhood is not too bad yet. I took the 1st step and entered the BevMo! in Glendora/San Dimas. Boy, do they sell more than just beverages! I was so WOWed and amazed at the end of my visit. Upon entry, I saw the left side with spirits, wine, champagne, craft beers, sodas, and so much more. You'll find so many amazing and neat products such as party accessories, glassware, barware, gourmet snacks, frozen foods, cigars, gifts, and again so much more. I walked every aisle as I was curious and in awe. I even saw See's Candies and Tony's Chocolonely for the chocolate lovers. I was short on time. Otherwise, I would have stayed and perused longer. I did pick up a bag of Reese's pretzels (tastes pretty good) and some fig crackers (haven't tried them yet). And I found Elijah Craig barrel proof A125. Such a great find! 1 is for January and 25 is the year. Aged around 10 years. The STAR of the haul no doubt is the Penelope. The waaat? Oh yes my friend. I haven't had much in the +$70 range of bourbons but this one is special. The proprietor I am told personally selected the barrel and bought the whole barrel to bottle it himself. AWESOME. Which explains the "Liquorama" label on the bottle. I ordered 2 more for shipment. Another interesting buy was "Dore Vodka." Oat mash made in Normandy France. Still tastes like vodka but ooo la la! I will still slum it at BevMo but reluctantly.
