I…read morethought I remembered something about a minimum time, so my husband and I were discussing things they could help with (rearranging furniture, taking plastic off of furniture) when the lead mover approached and said they were done, holding out a paper for us to sign. I asked him, you don't have a minimum time? He said no they do not. He said someone from accounting would call us later that day to pay the final total. We never received a call. My card on file was charged and they sent me a bill over email which has a charge that specifically looks like it brings the total to 3 hours work ("minimum charge adjustment"). I called and left a message asking about it, no one ever called me back. I called again on 11/4 and spoke to someone. They opened up a claim and I was sent an automated email asking for more details, which I gave. It is now 11/14 and I have heard nothing. The movers that helped us on 10/13 were incredibly nice and efficient. The confusion with whether there is a minimum time (I still don't know for sure, since no one has gotten back to me) with the extra charge is the reason for this review. If there is a minimum, we had more work that could have been done. It's been more than a month and this is ridiculous. I am out more than $150 with no explanation.

I would certainly recommend this company and they go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied and treated with respect. I've had them help me move with my own truck as well as with their company trucks and every time they move my items with care and have very reasonable prices for the services provided. On my last move, there was a scheduling error by the company in regards to the time the movers would arrive.... Since it was the same day, but just a different time slot it was no big deal (my total move was a small 2 hour job). Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control the movers ended up sitting in traffic for an extra 50 minutes because of an accident on the freeway. I mentioned it to the movers and they got the time adjustment/price difference approved by the manager, because they agreed it wouldn't be fair or right for them to charge me extra for time spent sitting in traffic when my original "move time" was scheduled for way earlier to avoid rush hour traffic. We originally found PNW movers through U-Haul's moving help. We were moving across the country and…read moreinitially hired them to help load a few of our heavier things on to a truck. They seemed professional and kind so when we needed more help a few days later we called them directly and were happy they had the time to help us again. As it turns out, we wish we hadn't. Ignacio and Co. claim to be long distance moving experts however the way they packed our moving truck proved otherwise. A significant portion of our belongings had damage and some things (like a television, a solid wood dresser set, and expensive art supplies) are essentially ruined due to the poor packing decisions they made. One example of the problem is that a soft bag of clothing was used as the base for a stack of heavy boxes that was 10 feet high. It seems like moving "experts" should know better than that and, if these folks don't know that is a foolish way to pack, maybe they should make different career choices. After unpacking and realizing how much damage was done, we contacted the owner of PNW Movers, Ignacio, directly to give him a chance to partially remedy the problem. We offered to accept a partial refund for a full release of our legitimate claims (worth far more than the full cost of paid for services - and we sought only partial refund). He agreed, in writing, to pay us back in installments for a small portion of the damage caused. When he explained that he was not insured and didn't have the money to pay a few hundred dollars immediately, we accepted his requested schedule of 3 payments of about $100 each over several months in exchange for a full release. As we approach the day of what should be the third and final payment he has yet to make any payments and has stopped answering our phone calls and texts. This is not acceptable. Hiring movers can be a big choice. Honesty and integrity are necessary characteristics when people trust you with ALL of their possessions. Unfortunately this company has proven they lack both.
