Loved the food--especially the eggplant dip and dessert! Service was great, and while the food came out a bit on the slower side, everything felt high-quality. Super cute and cozy spot for dates or casual hangouts.

So glad I discovered this cute little gem! I visited with 2 gfs for a casual GNO with small bites and wine, but this cozy, candle-lit spot would be perfect for a date night too. This place specializes in Persian country cooking and natural wines. I think this was my first time trying Persian cuisine.. and I was pleasantly surprised :). While everything we tried was delicious, the portions were on the smaller side, so it felt more like an appetizer-focused experience. - Nazkhatoun (eggplant pomegranate dip): the perfect balance of savory and sweet, paired with crispy flatbread that complemented every bite. - Shirazi salad: a refreshing mix of cucumber, tomato, and fresh herbs with a citrusy dressing. Super light and tangy! - Tahchine morgh: a comforting and flavorful rice dish with tender chicken, wrapped in a beautiful golden crust. The service was also a highlight--genuine, friendly, and attentive, making the entire experience feel warm and welcoming. Would definitely come back!

I like the concept of coming to a fixed menu and going with the flow. Great quality food & friendly staff, highly recommend if you've been exposed to Persian -Armenian food.

Beautiful charming neighborhood wine bar with cozy fragrant stews. Such a great wine list and amazing food.

Owner was nice and friendly, and the space is cute, but the food was lackluster and way too expensive. I want this space to thrive, and I think with a few tweaks it can flourish, but I wasn't impressed based on this first visit.

Voodoo Vin has to be one of my favorite spots to eat in LA. The menu always changes based on what's fresh and in season. You'll most likely see farmers market produce in almost every dish. I always admire the music in the background and the impeccable lighting. It feels like you're transported to a bistro in Europe. I always order the chicken liver mousse tartine. This time it was topped with fresh blueberry compote but the compote usually changes based on what's in season (the apricot is always my favorite!) The ricotta gnocchi is UNREAL. They're like little cheese pillows swimming in a pool of fresh nduja sauce. It was topped with fresh chicories so you got a little bit of a crunch too. My favorite place to sit is at the bar so you can watch your food being made right in front of you. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about wine. I'll definitely be dining here again soon!

Their recommendations were spot on. The atmosphere is intimate, cozy, and honestly perfect for a date night. It has such a warm and inviting vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. Unfortunately, we arrived just after the kitchen had closed, but that only gives me another reason to come back. The service was truly top-tier, and the wine was absolutely divine. I even enjoyed both a white and a red during my visit. Normally mixing wines can leave me with a headache the next day, but the bartenders paired everything so thoughtfully that the wines complemented each other beautifully, and I felt great afterward. I can't wait to return and experience both the food and wine together next time. Highly recommend!

I do feel like it's a bit overpriced for what you get, but the service was good. They were backed up on our order and apologized by providing complimentary wine on the house, which was very kind of them. We got the Tuna tostada, Caesar salad and the pan con tomate. The tuna was fresh and the other two were just alright to me. It was really interesting as the salad had saradines which was different but nothing bad, but nothing really memorable either. Parking can be tough, but I was lucky enough to find street parking. Seating is also limited, and the wait can be long including the restroom line. However, we got lucky and were able to grab a table without waiting too long. Overall, it's a nice place with a great ambience, and I can see the appeal of this bar.

Everything is so overpriced it feels like they are intentionally letting you know you are not good enough to be one of their customers. You can get this type of food and wine at 99 other places with nicer employees, easier parking and much less attitude. The staff behaves as if this was a high school not a wine bar. Do yourself a favor and don't come here. I highly recommend the classic LA ambience at other close by establishments such as The Oaks on Bronson, the Alley in Silverlake or The Cara on Western instead. This place is like a bad Ryan Murphy series. It takes itself way too seriously. I've given them over 4 chances to change my mind since I live around the corner, and they never cease to amaze me when it comes to their entitled snotty staff & overpriced alcohol plus the parking is absolutely impossible! I even had to help customers break out of the parking lot one evening because the gate closes at a particular hour, and the restaurant doesn't even bother to tell you the gates shut at a particular time way before the restaurant closes. you're on your own, good luck getting your car out! avoid this place like the plague. I wish I could get back to $500. I've spent here over the past two years.
