This is my third time coming to Votre Salon. Its about a 45 min drive for me but Jess is amazing at color correction. I came to her with brassy damaged hair after I got my hair done once and used boxed coloring for years after that trying to keep up the color. I didnt realize how brassy and unhealthy my hair was until i left the salon. Prices are very good for the treatment and color your hair is given. I'm feel like a took off. First they miss up the appointment to me. What I have known is 11/19 Saturday and I even put in my calendar for appointment. when I get there they said 11/12 Saturday & do not give a service. They charged my daughter for Wednesday morning at 6:00 a.m. the 13 years old kids have to wake up 5:00 in the morning for her hair appointment. My daughter not even whining or complaining a word about it, but the hair dresser do. Then hair dresser Jess didn't get the hair style done right at all the way that my daughter wanted. Seriously I shouldn't even give 1star at all. We show how we want it and showed the picture the way we want it & the one she done is totally opposite. No color on my daughter hair at all show. Then how am I going to count it as she done the hair color right?! Then I subjected her to dye more on top layer more so at least look like some color on it. However Jess keeps said this is how you want it and that's it no fix & not welling to doing anything to make customer happy. She keep forcing us to get out & pay her. Before I went there I asked price & said $120-$140. Then it becomes $265 Just because we are not satisfied with her job. I'm nicely to ask her to put more color on it & she refused to do it. When she washed my daughter hair scratched so hard that my daughter head even bleeding. My daughter cried so hard as soon as she get in the car. Also She yelled my daughter have attitude. My daughter not even said anything to her first. She asked questions and my daughter just said yes or no. Just because she is quiet personality doesn't mean she is giving attitude. Right about I leave Rose asked are you going to come back next week to correct this incorrect hair color, then I double checked with them make sure they have to give a service as fixing their mistake and I am not welling to pay any penny for additional repairs. That lady Jess said no we still have to pay for repairs. So I getting mad & I have to leave. I'm never ever go that place. Customer service is suck. Yelling to customer. Didn't do the job right! Over charging for the hair style for nothing shows the job done. read more

I have been going to Rose for about 6 months and did not realize she was on Yelp. When I asked her and she said yes I knew I wanted to give her a 5 star rating. She is excellent Her colors, cuts and use of curling iron is great. Her styles last the entire week which is great and her prices are certainly reasonable compared with most shops. I enjoy my time there as we talk about everything as she does my hair. She is very accommodating and will bend over backwards to give you the time best for you. I saw a friends hair and like it and asked where did she get it done and I made an appointment and been going to Rose ever week since. I've been going to Rose for years for literally everything hair related. Cuts, colors, treatments, she does it all extremely well! I love having vibrant, unnatural colored hair and Rose makes my wildest hair color dreams come true EVERY TIME!!! My sister just recently got a hair treatment done by her as well and her hair has never looked better, like she went from sad, dry locks to luscious, silky curls(my sister has naturally curly hair and the treatment really revitalized them to the max)! Outstanding!!! I came in for a last minute facial and had some time to kill before my appointment. I was offered a free 15 minute massage while I waited, which was absolutely amazing btw, and was able to use a groupon now deal! The facial was good, not the best I've ever had, but I was given a bag of goodies to try. The downside is the lack of parking, especially since there is construction being done on the street out front. Other than that, I loved how accommodating everyone was and the attentive service I received. read more

Rose is great at what she does! I found her years ago as a walk-in. I had a terrible haircut a few days earlier by someone in another salon. I met Rose and asked her to "rescue me" as my sister's wedding was that weekend. She transformed my awful style into something that I not only liked, but could do myself. This review is for a haircut, pedicure, and massage. I came here because I got a gift card from a friend... otherwise, I definitely would not have walked into this place. First, I should point out that they DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARD even though the signs say otherwise. Be sure to bring cash. Secondly, when I came, the place was busy but filled with elderly people. That's right - 90% of the people who were here are over 65 and white. It's a strange sight in the middle of Arcadia where most people are Asian. Now, onto the reviews... Massage - I got a 60 minute massage from Sam and it was very good. Not the best ever but definitely one of the better ones that I've gotten. She is the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. Pedicure - Mindy is nice and all, but this is by far the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. The nail polish chipped less than a week after I got it done. And she got nail polish on my toes as well. It was a sloppy job. Haircut - The owner cut my hair and it was the worst haircut I've ever gotten. I know this is sounding harsh... but she spent less than 5 minutes on my hair. When I got home, I had to trim my hair myself to make it even. Is that ridiculous or what?! If you come here, just go to Sam for a massage. Otherwise, stay away. read more

Sam (Solania Serrano) is a great massage therapist. She does a GREAT deep tissue massage and really works out all the kinks. You feel like you've had a workout. I HIGHLY recommend Sam for massage. read more

I had a massage at the Votre salon by the massage therapist named Enid. she was so nice and professional. The room that she gives your massage is a small private room in the salon. She has the room decorated in such a relaxing area that makes you forget where you are. My back and been sore and since i work with the public I sure cold have you used a massage to get all my knots and pressure points out. She put me right at ease and made me feel comfortable. Ani is an excellent manicurist, but she has very limited hours. When I have gone to Christine, she spends a lot of time on the phone and/or gossiping with others, and I usually walk away with at least one cut from her nailfiles. This review is for massage therapist Enid. I am now a once a month regular, due to the need for one of her extremely relaxing, unwinding, tension releasing massages. She is located it a small dark quiet room at the back of the salon, where u forget everything, while receiving a great massage. I recommend the Swedish, but if you need deep tissue, or anything different in any specific area, just let her know! I highly recommend her! read more

Today was my first time going to Votre Salon, even though I pass by it all the time and have never actually seen it. I don't like trying out new things, but I definitely am glad I did this time! I found Votre through citysearch and made a same day appointment. The stylists there are super nice, they offered coffee, tea and pastries before I even got the chance to settle in. I had my hair re-shaped (trimmed) and got a weave (highlights). The stylist, Kela, recommended styling products that would not only fit my hair, but also my lifestyle (I'm very low-maintenance) and when it didn't seem like I was interested, she automatically backed off. I gave her free reign over the style and color and she did not disappoint. Everyone has been complementing my new style and say that it definitely suits me more than my old style. I'm glad because I definitely plan on returning. It was a little pricey and the place has an old-world feel, but it's worth it and is clean. read more
