I had my first wedding dress try on experience at VOWS, and had three more appointments after my initial visit to find the perfect dress. Mandy bent over backwards to answer all of my questions and concerns to make sure I would be 100% confident in my decision when I finally said yes to the dress. After purchasing my wedding dress, two months later my dad went on hospice, and we had to cancel our dream wedding. We ended up planning a small ceremony with only 10 days notice, but my original dress hadn't arrived yet. When my mom called VOWs and explained the situation, they immediately stepped into action with so much compassion and generosity. Without hesitation, they began searching for a dress in my size that I could wear straight off the rack, so I could still have something special to wear on such an important and emotional day. It wasn't just about the dress, it was about how deeply they cared and how much they deeply wanted to help during a really difficult time. They made me feel supported, understood, and truly taken care of when everything felt overwhelming. The second dress was absolutely perfect, and I'll forever associate it with such a meaningful moment in my life and with the team who made it happen for me, my husband, and my dad. I had the best experience both times I visited Vows Bridal. The first time, I went with my mom, best friend, and two of my cousins. My stylist was Kelly and she was amazing. I tried on probably 10 wedding dresses in a beautiful private room. Kelly let all my guests pick a dress for me that they loved, and I picked several that I loved. I didn't feel rushed at all. I thought I had found my dress but I held off on buying it because I had a second fitting the next day at a different store. Kelly didn't make me feel obligated to buy anything right then and there which I really appreciated. I tried on another dress I loved the following day which left me very confused. It was mermaid style which I had not tried at Vows because I felt it wouldn't look good on me. I reached out to Kelly again and asked her if I could come in again and try some more dresses in the mermaid style. She was so sweet and accommodating. I went in for a second appointment with her, tried on the original dress I had in mind, and tried on some more in the mermaid style that I saw online, and also some that Kelly pulled for me. I ended up finding the one! It was by Allure Bridals and about $1900 which was within my budget. I ordered the dress and it was ready for pick up earlier than expected. It was very big on me so definitely required a lot of alterations, but it was absolutely stunning and I felt so confident and beautiful on my wedding day. Thank you Kelly!! read more

A few years ago I went with my sister to Vows, my sister was trying on dresses and her experience was so amazing that fast forward to now- I decided to go back to Vows to find my dress. I'm not quite a "girly" girl so I was SO nervous going into this, my hands were shaking lol. But right off the bat, Hannah H (our bridal helper) made me feel comfortable and reassured me we would have a fun time. Throughout my entire time there Hannah H was PHENOMENAL. She always made sure I felt comfortable while changing in and out of dresses, she truly was listening to the things I did & the things I did not, like about the dresses I was trying on. It was because of her attention to detail & to me- that Hannah herself ended up pulling my dream dress that I said YES to! She found everything I was looking for all in one. I was also happily surprised the dress she pulled was not only in my budget, but actually UNDER! I think their dresses are so reasonably priced especially for how beautiful they are. I was also offered a celebratory glass of sparkling cider when I said yes! The entire experience from entry to exit was 12/10 for me and my sister. I couldn't recommended Vows more, I think they are so wonderful and I wish I could try dresses on all day at their store it was so much fun! read more

VOWS was the third and final salon that I went to. I loved my experience there, and was thrilled to find my dress. The inventory is fantastic, and my stylist was so helpful in pulling my top dress from another salon, as well as similar styles. When it came time to decide, she was super accommodating in showing me the dress I loved in my size, while holding up a different size of the same dress with the lining color I preferred. I don't live in the area, and VOWS made sure my dress got shipped to me out-of-state in perfect condition! I would highly recommend VOWS for a great dress shopping experience. I had a 12/10 experience at Vows with Christina! Vows truly had the odds stacked against them when I walked in yesterday. It was my first day wedding dress shopping and I'd gone to another appointment at a different salon that morning where I found 2 dresses I was convinced nothing would beat. While I was waiting to meet my consultant I was 99% positive I would not be buying a dress that day. I met Christina and felt instantly comfortable with her. The consultant at the other salon was pushy and I did not feel comfortable asking her questions. My experience with Christina was the complete opposite! She was super transparent about prices of dresses which was greatly appreciated because the other place was not, and never once made me feel pressured into buying a dress. I showed her my 2 top choice dresses I found at the other salon (1 of which Vows did not carry) and she let me and my group pick the first 6 dresses I tried on from the racks. After I had it narrowed down to 2 that I really liked, she pulled a dress that ended up being the one! Just seeing it on the hanger I knew it was my dress. It was super similar to one of my 2 favorites from the other salon but it did not include a feature I told her I really disliked on that dress. It was absolutely perfect and I didn't want to change a single thing about the new dress. I can't believe Christina was able to find exactly what I wanted and beat the other 2 dresses! She's so knowledgeable about designers and the Vows inventory. Getting to try my dress on with different veils in different lighting made it even better. A couple years late, but my mom and I had a great experience here for my brother's September 2022 wedding. As part of the dress shopping, my now sister in law was very chill about wedding party gowns. We all agreed on a color scheme of blue/purple floor length gowns and my mom and I started our shopping. We visited several stores and ended up buying a MOG gown at another store in Boston (last one in stock/sample). Despite already having a gown, my mom kept this appointment, and was not disappointed. In our previous shopping trips, we discovered that many MOB/MOG dresses were incredibly gaudy and styled for more mature figures, which my mom is not. Vows has an entire room dedicated to special occasion/MOBG gowns in all styles and price points. My mom found a stunning floor length ombré lace gown with Swarovski crystal accents, something completely different from most gowns we tried. It definitely blew the other gown out of the water! I booked my appointment at Vows two months in advance, and after arriving early, I was told to wait in my car until they were ready for me and I received a call. What is this, 2020? Once inside, it was clear this place is not what's shown on the show. The "outlet" was a glorified closet with three tiny racks, and the main area was surprisingly sparse. Other bridal salons I visited had way more inventory out and ready. I wasn't expecting it to be the same as the show was 13 years ago. Not at all. But, I was expecting there to be more off the rack options. Despite the advance notice, my consultant was clearly unprepared. I was never contacted in advance as I was at other salons. She questioned if I was even getting married this year, and once I said yes, she basically shut down. We weren't invited to browse--just sent to the clearance corner. No dresses were pulled for me in advance. Even a shop I booked less than 24 hours ahead had multiple dresses ready to try. At other salons, I had 6-10 options, all of which could be ordered or taken off the rack for a July/August wedding. Not the case here. She offered me a black dress to be purchased off the rack, then dragged it across the floor, stepping on it with her shoes. She didn't help me into any dresses--I had to ask for help when I got stuck in one. Meanwhile, consultants at all the other stores helped me in and out of gowns with care. I felt rushed, like I was her last appointment of the day and she just wanted to leave--especially since I wasn't shopping for a pricey white dress. Vows, it's 2025. Offer color options. Let clients who've booked appointments browse. Be prepared. A simple phone call could've saved us both the time--I drove 45 minutes for this. I left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and completely overlooked. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this place to others. read more

I went to Vows on Dec 6th and had the absolute best experience. The store itself is so chic, clean and organized. We had a slight miscommunication with checking in, but the owner quickly came out to apologize about the mix up, as did the other attendants at the front desk (all about how you recover!). This was my second dress appointment, and I was nervous about the entire process. Insert - Christina. Christina made the process so fun, positive, and relaxed. She made me feel like a true 'baddie' in every dress I tried on but still was honest. She ended up picking my winning dress by taking all of my feedback from the other dresses I tried on. It was the final dress I tried on, and it ended up being THE ONE. I had booked a second appointment that day elsewhere and ended up cancelling it, as I had the winner. This was my favorite bridal shop that I went to and where I ended up buying my dress from!! I went to four other bridal shops besides this one, and the service at Vows was the best by a landslide. I was helped by Kelly and Olivia; they were both so incredibly helpful, and most importantly, patient! It's not uncommon that people who work in bridal shops are pushy and just want to make a sale. Never once at Vows was I pressured in any way to make a purchase. Also, their selection of dresses is huge and most of them are very affordable for the quality and designs. I felt so comfortable and an ease here, I cannot recommend them enough. read more

I think this place would be great for a lot of people, it just wasn't exactly the experience I was looking for. Let's start with the pros. This place is huuuge and has a really impressive selection. There's a little bit of everything at every price point, so it would be a good place to start if you don't really know what you're looking for. They also let you shop around yourself and pull anything you want to try on, which not every bridal shop allows. You get a semi-private area to try on dresses with a little changing area for the bride, and seating for your guests. The staff was really nice here and there's all kind of small touches like free water bottles, photo ops, etc. Now, my reasons for only 3 stars. I felt realllly rushed when I was in here, and with how big this place is, there were so many people around that it felt a little chaotic. I was asked to pick a number of dresses as "favorites" online before coming in, and when I got there, I don't think the sales person I was working with had even looked at my preferences or pulled anything I wanted to try on. Throughout the appointment, I mostly tried on things I picked out myself, and had to keep pulling up the website to find more dresses to try on my own. The sales person didn't make many recommendations of her own, so I don't think I really benefited from her expertise. Finally, with how many dresses there are, I felt like you really had to dig through a lot of poor-quality options to find the gems. I tried on a lot of ripped samples that seemed poorly made, and it was much more hit-or-miss than other boutiques I've been to. Like I said, the big selection might be perfect for some brides, but I'm sad to say I don't think I'd recommend this spot to my friends. read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Katie at VOWS. She listened to what I wanted, pulled dresses that had the elements I asked for, stayed well within my budget and did not try to upsell or push anything I did not want. She kept the dressing room clean so it didn't feel stuffy or chaotic. We quickly got through a large amount of dresses in a short amount of time. The location itself is beautiful with ample seating and a large, comfortable dressing room with plenty of space to change. We felt it made more sense to buy the veil locally and was referred to Vows by my daughter in law who purchased her dress there last year.
