I completed a full nightmare of a dormer on my home and was very skeptical to ever hire another contractor again. Tommy and Joe came to remove my waste line so a basement repair company could repair a collapsing wall. They removed all the piping in one day with only one weeks notice. The basement wall repair was completed the next day, and then the plumbing was completed on the third day. They also came to install a slop sink for my washer and a full home water filtration system with second faucet. All of this was completed in three days. Literally flawlessly and the guys were so accommodating, polite and helpful. I am so grateful that there are good workers still left in this world like Tommy and Joe because they made this repair so easy for me and my family I even had a loose/wobbly bathtub faucet in my upstairs bathroom that Tommy helped me out with free of charge. I called for a sink that was filled with water. I assumed the basement slop sink was clogged. He…read morecame timely; that was good. I have been using his plumbing services for some time now, about 4 years. He ended up snaking the pipes in the basement. He charged me around $375. He packed up quickly and left. I noticed dripping underneath the sink and assumed the pipes needed to be tightened. I called him back within 8 minutes so that he could check on the drip and he said nope I'm already headed to another job. Before he left to be thorough, he should have checked the pipe for a leak, which is the same pipe that is hooked up to the slop sink. So I scheduled another appointment. He came today, looked underneath the sink; there was no leak, nor a drip and he still charged me:$162.94. Where is the decency in that? It was still part of the last job. I like to pay people for their services but it was a real jerk move. No good customer service for repeat business. I plan on doing another job for thousands of dollars, but now with someone else. He just lost a loyal customer. Maybe I'm a novice in how things work. I've had a business and always issued courtesy. I'm not asking for a handout, but don't hustle long paying upstanding citizens. Maybe it's because I'm of a different ethnicity and gender...just maybe...but who knows. Most people are not honest with their internal bias and troubled integrity. He legitimized his greed. $50, maybe $80 but definitely not $162.94.
