This place blew me away. I bought a coupon through Amazon Local because it's all all done by hand and so my car could get a thorough cleaning. But I had no idea of just how fantastic my 2000 Maxima would look after it was done. You have to make appts, which I also liked, presuming that meant timely service (it did) but had no idea how much I'd appreciate my GPS in order to find VRY, which is somewhere in Sterling in a semi industrial setting. The circuitous drive was worth it. VRY was amazing. They're pretty much family-run and greet you at a desk next to this huge open industrial space where they can wash a few cars (including limos) at a time. They have several people scrubbing each car inside and out. Warning: it takes awhile. So just plan in advance, because their lounge area includes free drinks (water, soda) and a big screen TV where customers can choose the channels -- and room to work on your computer. BTW, I was shining up my wonderful Maxima (45,000 miles) to sell. I posted it on Craigslist and sold it to the the first interested buyer the next morning -- without having go through the detailing process. Although was a pretty sweet car anyway. YOU HAVE TO COME HERE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! I found a Groupon for an exterior/interior detailing for my SUV. After looking at the good reviews and affordable price, I thought to give this place a shot. The staff is very kind and experienced at what they do. They are also a family business, which I love to support! I was told that they initially had experience with dealerships and then transitioned to a public business. You can definitely tell the hard work and years of experience that they have in the finished product. You have the option of waiting there for your car or leaving. I decided to wait in their waiting room and my car was done in 2 hours. The waiting room is a nice and quaint area with refreshments, seating areas, WiFi and a TV. I brought my car in a pretty dirty state. I still hadn't cleaned it from my beach trip. Although, my biggest concern was the stains on my seats that I accidentally created when I tried to clean the upholstery by myself. I wish I took a picture because let me tell you, they were deep and made my interior look terrible. Now my seats look brand new and there are no traces of stains! In addition, I also did not expect the exterior of my car to look so polished. I had scratches and dirt on the outside which I thought needed more work than a wash. However, by the pics, you can tell that there is not a single trace of a scratch anywhere which blew my mind. Also, notice the tires looks super vibrant and clean as well which is a great small detail that they paid attention to. I highly recommend. I've been to other car detailing places and this far exceeds. They have a great lobby/waiting area if you have to wait for your car, refreshments, etc. they quoted me for four hours but finished in 2.5 and the results were great. My seats were very dirty and I was worried that the stains were not going to come off because a previous car Detailer said he couldn't fully clear the stains, but the Detailer's here DID IT! This place does a fantastically thorough job detailing, they are convenient, honest, and above all, offer excellent customer service. They went above and beyond to make sure that my mother and I were taken care of. Additionally, I had taken it to get cleaned so I could get it priced at Carmax immediately afterwards, and I got a much better offer than I expected, which I suspect was due to the amazingly new condition that the car was in. Officially selling my car tomorrow! I got the Complete Package at VRY, which includes an inside and outside detailing. I would 110% recommend this place to anybody, they offer amazing value for price. I have to give a special mention to Tiffany, the lady behind the front counter who helped us out. She was incredibly friendly and straightforward about everything. Normally a sedan would be $150 to detail, but my car has a few scratches and dings and needed more buffing, which cost extra. However, I used the Yelp deal, and Tiffany also managed to help me keep cost down. They really put their customers first. On top of that, she took the initiative and offered to have someone drive us to the Dulles Town Center Mall where my mother and I waited for them to be finished, as we didn't have a second car. They were fast and were done before I expected. They even came to pick us up from the mall and take us back to VRY, where my car was waiting. My car was cleaned, polished, and waxed beautifully, it looked new inside and out. It smelled fresh and they had paid great attention to detail, the edges and corners of my trunk and my door jambs were thoroughly scoured. And best of all, I think it really helped raise the value of my car when I went to price it. read more

They even asked me to come out mid way into the process to see if the fine swirl mark scratches were getting out after they clay barred it. It looked a lot better. However, this was like this from the dealer so I may have to take it back to them. The receptionist was also very helpful and sweet. I had never had my 2001 Mazda detailed before. I have always taken good care of it, but it was starting to look a little tired. I took it to VRY and WOW! my car looks brand new. I did the Complete package, and paid a little extra for the special black treatment and headlight cleaning. Well worth it. The staff is excellent. We did a complete walk-thru of the car before they started and they suggested the extra treatments to get me the results I was looking for (but never a hard sell). When I picked up the car they were all excited about how great my car looked- it was nice to see how much pride they took in the results. They also provided a bag to take away that included a bottle of the spray-on shine to keep the car looking good. That was a nice touch. I purchased an auto detailing deal through Amazon Local. It was a good deal: $69 for full detailing of a sedan. I was skeptical, but made the appointment. As I approached, I quickly realized this could potentially be the start of a scary movie. The location is sketch. On top of that, clearly these people running the store are unprofessional. I had a 9am appointment. I got there at 8:59 and waited for 15 minutes and no one showed up to open the store. I called several times. No answer. Not even the people who do the detailing showed up. Seriously? Unacceptable. So I called AmazonLocal and received a refund. I'd rather pay double if it means that the business is actually run like a respectable business. Update: once they finally opened the store (9:30am), I received a phone call and they said the owner had an emergency. Ok, I get it, emergencies happen. But please tell me why none of your other employees showed up on time to work either? This place is awesome!!! I found them on Google while looking for a tint shop. I noticed that they do plasti dip as well. Long story short, 2 hrs and $250 later, I drive off with the best tint job ever and my rims plasti dipped.. The service was great, the prices are great and they offer military discount. A week later I took my car back to get my front grill dipped and all the emblems on my car. They did a great job on my Acura TL.. now its white with black rims, grill, spoiler, and emblems. read more

I saw their sign on Woodland Road for Grand Opening Specials and went in yesterday to get a quote for some things I needed done on my car. The verbal quote they gave me was $150 for detail, $40 for headlight restoration and $60 for plastic trim restoration. I went in today to get the quote confirmed in writing, and they changed it to $150 for detail, $50 for headlight restoration(!), and $120 for plastic trim restoration! In one day, their estimate went up by $10 for headlight restoration and $60 for plastic trim restoration. When I asked them why the plastic trim restoration quote doubled, they said the quote they gave me yesterday was for half the car! At that point, I didn't even bother to ask why the headlight restoration quote went up. They are not going to touch my car. Good luck to anyone to wants to risk having one side of their car worked on, or wants to fall for bait and switch. read more

This business has closed. Of course they didn't notify any of their scheduled appointments (myself included), just packed up shop and left. This was the 2nd bad experience I had with this shop while trying to get 2 of my windows tinted. I found VRY online and decided to give them a try. I called them shortly after spilling a protein shake between my seat and center counsel while driving. When I spoke to them and explained the situation they told me they could get me right in. My job is in the field of on the road sales so not only is my car my office but I regularly have customers riding with me. This was something that I had to have taken care of immediately and it was. VRY has a very family oriented feel to it. The people working the desk and phone were very friendly and very sincere. There is access to Wifi and complimentary beverages. I got a service wash from them and during the wash they put a hole in my convertible top. Granted, the top is not in good condition, but they did not warn me before the wash that it might damage the top, and I have certainly washed it myself without damaging it. I was told the manager would call me to see what she could do for me, which she didn't. When I called her, she only offered to refund the cost of the wash, not to patch up the hole in the top. Better than nothing, but still I can't recommend a place that will not pay for the damage they did to my car. read more
