I entered this shop having high expectations from all the good reviews left so devastated i went in asking for a trim and got a whole different haircut i never asked for, even from the start the customer service was horrible he would pull in my ear with the brush causing it to be red when i was leaving, and after the cut he was asking for tips after i told him this is nothing what i wanted, please if you see this try to go to a different shop, even the haircut was so uneven not even a straight cut these guys don't know how to cut hair. read more

I have been going to Visa for over a year now. The Tempe location is right by my work and thus convenient. Doe and Hab do great work for me and my kids. The recent change to pricing for a fade makes little sense to me. Skin fades for a decent barber are the quickest and easiest cuts yet are now priced more than a "regular cut"? Make that make sense? I would also like to see/lnow the barbershop are changing out their guards or cleaning them between cuts. read more

Maybe I'm just stubborn and unreasonable, but in my view, "appointment at 1" means we are making an agreement between business and customer to start at 1. Not "customer shows up at 1 and gets stuck in line behind 3 people." If that is what you are going to do, what is the point of making an appointment? Just do walk ins. I have been going to the same barber for three years but decided I would try out V's since I live right above it. Needless to say they stole my business and have a new frequenter because that was the best haircut I've had. Big Surge was my barber and he provided a great service. I was surprised when instead of a regular neck shave, he broke out the straight razor and hot towel . Also he used a vibrating massager after on my head and neck, this haircut included 3 cherries on top. Thanks Surge! read more

I visited here today to get a haircut since I've been needing one. I recently moved here from Portland, so I don't know exactly what barber shops are good around Tempe. This definitely isn't one. I showed the barber a picture of what I wanted and he said he understood. Walked out of there with almost a military buzz cut. I asked for a taper as well and he couldn't seem to do that either. My sides were uneven. The overall haircut was horrible and I wouldn't recommend coming here especially for college students. There are knicks in my hair where he messed up. I don't know how this man is from New York in the 80s and can't cut hair. read more

Just left an appointment I'd scheduled a week in advance after checking in and waiting over 20 min only to the find out my barber Han wasn't even there--he was still on his lunch break... at 4:45pm. All other appointments I'd wait at least 10 min after my scheduled time too. Waste of time. read more

i had an appointment scheduled with sergio and when u arrived 5 mins after my scheduled appt i could see he was still finishing up with his client before me. i checked in and was told i was next. after waiting 10 mins sergio tried to pass me onto another new female barber who iv seen cut hair before and i wasnt impressed. i declined and he said well your going to have to wait after the next 3 walk ins who showed up when i did. so basically i was declined service so he could cut his girl friends hair and her kids. very dissapointing as my father and i have been going to vs for years now. im on a schedule and cant just come in whenever. horrible customer service. read more

I have been to a V's barbershop in Vegas several times and have always been happy with their service, so I thought I'd try this one while I'm living in Tempe for college. I checked in 5 min early for a 5:00 appointment. At 5:20, the guy who I set up the appointment with said he'll be with me soon and that he just has one more person in front of me. At 5:40, after waiting 45 min for a scheduled appointment, I finally walked out. Then, as I'm already driving back to my house, they send me a text saying they're sorry for the wait and they're available now if I want to come back. If you weren't available until 5:45, why did you let me make a 5:00 appointment in the first place? For a place with a big sign next to the register telling customers they will be placed on the walk-in list if they are late by more than 7 min, they really don't seem to value their customers' time at all. I guess their time is more important. I will not be coming back. read more

Took my high school son here and he received the best haircut he has ever had! Sergio was so meticulous and gave my son exactly what he had asked for. The taper was perfect and we loved his attention to detail. Truly a quality haircut. My son really enjoyed the neck massage and hot towel at the end too! Felt very pampered.
